Chapter Twenty Four;
A flower blooms in the rain

Anna's eyes yes slowly fluttered open she has to admit she had a stranger dream multiple hands reaching towards her six voices whispering soothing words towards her....

Looking around she found herself in what looked to be a barn sitting up from the stack of hay she was laying out Anna noticed one of her guild mates Reedus painting on a white canvas

Her thoughts wondered towards her guild mates an image of Natsu, Gray, Erza and Happy flashed before her very eyes ' Be safe everyone' she thought summoning a couple fabrics ready to start her newest project

Anna knew she couldn't be in the fight however no one realised just how close Phantom are at achieving their main goal...

Meanwhile Mizu slithered around Mirajane Protecting her from any shards flying towards her during Elfman's transformation

"ZUT ALORS! He did it!" Sol spoke in disbelief and astonishment while Mirajane watched worriedly knowing that Elfman could not control his full body take over form

The smoke cleared revealing beast soul himself Mizu saw the element four member shake his legs wobbling furiously she could practically smell his fear

"Non non non! This is a big misunderstanding I wasn't trying to hurt you! I simply wanted you to help UN AMI!" Sol chuckled nervously trying to reason with the beast

"I thought putting you through that trial might help you get over your painful memorise!" He continued Mizu swore Sol was surrounded with hearts  "EXCUS MON FAUX PAS!"

"You are truly the creme de la creme of Mali-" but before he could continue Mizu used her giant snake head to knock the man against the wall creating a massive crater in the process

Both beast souls and Mirajane stared at the giant snake with confusion "what? He was annoying me" if snakes could roll their eyes then she just did

"Well I should be going now!" Sol drawled wiping the fist from his clothes A TOUT A L' HEURE!" he didn't get far however since Beast Soul sent the green haired man flying  into the air who fight back dust rising once more

"Non non non! You never should let your guard down like that!" Sol chuckled gasping when a giant white snake stared at him a knowing glint within its eyes he squeaked however seeing Beast Soul standing above him

"Uh.... SALUT?" He asked before the Beast punched him multiple times knocking his teeth out in the process while Mizu merely watched shaking her large head before transforming back to her other form

"That's enough!" Mira called out as Beast soul grabbed Sol's pink soul.... Literally, placing it back in the mans before before picking him in

"NON! At least knock me out S'IL VOUS PLAIT!" Sol pleaded crying crocodile tears the two girls watched Elfman continue his assault

""ELFMAN!" Mira snapped gaining his attention Mizu watched intrigued as the beasts pink eyes vanished back... Elfman was now in control

She turned to the unconscious male as Elfman ran to save Mirajane from being crushed "I really hated this field trip" she mumbled with a wave of her hand Sol sunk into the ground never to be seen again

'So much for the circle of life damn you lion king' Mizu thought slithering to the destroyed wall her lips curled up into a smile seeing the sister and brother embrace once another

Natsu ran through the halls of the guild hall Hades right beside him Happy sat upon the gods head grumbling about how bumpy the ride was in the process.

"Hey! I just thought of something awesome!" Natsu spoke suddenly his lips curled into a wide smile determination filled his onyx orbs

"What is it?" Happy questioned as he flew beside his best friend while Hades merely stared curiously at the dragon slayer

"When we beat Jose I bet it'll finally put an end to all this crazy fighting"

At that the god of the underworld began to laugh historically as he and Happy stopped, the blue exceed seemed unsure by Natsu's declaration

"WHATS SO FUNNY HUH?!!" Natsu snapped defensively pausing when the white haired male put his right hand up

"No offence mate but did you forget that the Phantom Lords Master is a wizard Saint? Your not as powerful as him and will clearly loose, it's best to focus on the elemental four for now" Hades explained Haoly nodded his head in agreement

"Oh yeah.... Taurus is definitely my favourite spirit out of the rest of you" Natsu mumbled once again being thrown into the wall

"I ain't a spirit! Now come on dragon! Or have you forgotten my mistress is in danger?" The god drawled as they began to descend down the corridor until they found themselves within a church?

Suddenly Natsu was knocked of his gear, Hades hovered into the air standing on a cloud of purple souls he had absorbed from the underworld

"How sad...." A melancholy voice spoke gaining their attention as the dusk of wind vanished revealing a man Natsu remembered as Aria.

"I will make your wings of fire wither and fall and all that will remain is a dragons corpse" the man drawled staring at the ground hiding his face

"SAY WHAT!?" Natsu snapped

"Great! More paperwork I definitely need a vacation after this fiasco!" Hades groaned

"Watch out! This guys one of the the element four" Happy spoke at that moment Aria looked up his eyes bandaged

"My name is Aria" he introduced as tears began to leak from within his bandages "I am the strongest of the element four I've come in hopes of hunting a dragon"

"Let me guess your a wind wizard right? I've dealt with your kind before"Natsu stated with a serious tone Hades knew that this was going to be a great battle.

It's just a shame Ares wouldn't be here to partake

The clouds began to turn Gray as rain began to fall from the sky each drop hitting the roof of a certain part Phantom Lord guild the rest were mostly sunny.

Gray pulled himself up onto the roof staring up at the sky "That's weird, when did it start raining?" He pondered

"Drip drip drop" he gasped turning around he saw a blue haired woman with an umberella "Hello my name is Juvia and I am the rain woman of the element four"

"So your one of them too then bring it on" Gray replied his tone low as he stood opposite Juvia

"I must say I'm impressed your guild was able to strike down two of the elements however, you must not overestimate the remaining two" she stated emotionlessly

Gray have Juvia a deadpanned look "Listen lady if you're looking for a fight I'll give you one but let's get something straight I'm not gonna go easy on ya because your a chick"

The two stared at one another the only sounds that could be heart was the rain hitting the rooftop,

Juvia's cheeks suddenly flushed as soon as Gray began to move she walked away "well then I give up you win, goodbye"

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING!? COME BACK AND FIGHT ME!" Gray called out his eyes bulging out of his socket not believing that he had won that easily

"Would you at least tell me how to stop the giant!" Gray shouted as he began to ran towards the blue haired woman

"Water lock!" Juvia chanted Gray didn't have time to react before he was suddenly floating within a bubble filled with water which sunk into his bandages causing him to grimace in pain

Gritting his teeth the water began to turn to ice the pressure was too much for the bubble to handle before it shattered into a million shards of ice not noticing Juvia's love stricken look

"You almost got me with that sneak attack you pulled your playing dirty" Gray gritted while Juvia was in cloud nine when he took off his shirt that was definitely not on him before.

I really don't wanna fight a girl but if I have to do you better surrender otherwise I'm gonna hurt ya!" He called out putting his hands together which began to grow cold within his magic

Ice make: Lance!" A blue magic circle appears as multiple lances lunged out his eyes widened seeing the lances pierced the bluenette's body who wasn't even fazed by the attack

"My body is made entirely of water, surprise? Drip drop" Gray gasped at that "yes.... I mustn't forget my love is also my enemy we're on opposite sides of this war I have no choice but to attack

"It seems this is farewell my prince" she stated solemnly "water slicer!" Slashes of water headed straight towards the ice make wizard who dodged the attack which hit a steel part of the guild hall behind him

"When given the proper amount of force water is strong enough to rip through steel, underestimate its powers and you'll find yourself in a world of pain" Juvia explained seeing her 'lovers' shocked expression

"Ice make: battle axe" again his attack failed going straight through Juvia's water filled body still staring emotionlessly with a blush tinted her cheeks once more

"Can't you see your just wasting your time? Your attacks have no effect on my body made of water not at all. Drip drip drop"

"Now what'll I do?" Gray grumbled in the corner of his eyes he saw a silhouette who placed their finger upon their lips indicating to stay quiet not wanting their presence to be known

"There is nothing you can do but there is one way you and your guild mates could be spared all we ask is that you hand over miss Anna Heartfilia" Juvia answered "do that and I will ask our master to call off his attack on fairy tail"

"Aw! Come on don't give me that crap!" Gray spoke causing the bluenette to sigh slightly under her breathe "you and I both know we're past the point of no return"

"Besides Anna is one of us I'd rather give my life than hand her over to you" at his words Juvia's heart broke not just my his speech but also the pink tint upon her lovers cheek at the mention of Anna her body began to shook in rage all she saw now was red

Gray gasped watching Juvia scream in complete pain her umbrella laid on the ground beside her he was completely confused as to why the woman was acting this way she looked.... Psychotic.

"What's wrong? Are you feeling sick of something?" He questioned slightly concerned for the enemies health

"ANNA HEARTFILIA CANNOT BE ALOUD TO LIVE!" Juvia screamed while Gray tilted his head still confused by her behaviour

He quickly jumped away where she sent a large amount of water towards him he was lucky he was only grazed since the water was boiling hot

"That burns! What's your deal?" He shouted at the bluenette who's teeth chattered furiously at the thought of her 'lover' being with her "what's your problem with Anna?!"

As another attack was sent his way he dodged the after kept following him he had almost fallen off the edge of the roof a relief sigh escape his lips once Juvia had stopped sending attacks his way

"Wherever I walk my rain follows it make me strong it makes me invincible" she drawled a magic circle appearing above her "now be prepared for my jealous rage!"

"WHAT ARE YOU JEALOUS OF!?" Gray questioned while dodging Juvia's attacks "ice make: shield" an icy shield appeared above his head just as the water hit causing steam to rise

Juvia watched the steam vanish her eyes widened slightly seeing Gray had used it as an opportunity to escape

Within the shadows their hands itched for a fight as they watched the scene unfold before them waiting for the main event

'I can't waste any more time with this crazy water chick! I gotta figure out how to stop the giant!' Gray thought suddenly the window burst open a water began to fill the room

"So Hot! It's burning my skin!" Gray winced before he was suddenly brought into someone's arms looking up he saw a woman her hair mixed with the water around them along with her clothing as she leaped out back onto the roof top.

"Who the hell are you!?" Juvia demanded her eyes narrowed at the woman who's hair was practically water along with her clothing a pot within their hand

"I am Aquarius" Aquarius answered in a monotone voice before controlling Juvia's water pressure to send Gray into the air

"ITS ALL OVER NOW!" Juvia shouted distracted by the ice make wizard as she sent a large pressure of water towards him only for Gray to lunge into her attack

'He just jumped right inside of the hot water! What did Anna see in this guy!' Aquarius deadpanned watching Gray turn the water into ice along with Juvia however....

"Gray your a pervert!" The spirit snapped walking the ice make wizard on the head his left hand grapes onto Juivia's breast

"I-ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE I DIDN'T MEAN TO!!" Gray panicked trying to reason with the spirit as he leaped away the ice vanished as the bluenette fell to the ground

The two bickered for a while which reminded Aqueous of a married couple it was.... Strangely cute the rain suddenly began to get heavier

"Man this rain won't let up! It's so gloomy" Gray groaned before noticing Juvia had fell to the ground once more "hey what's wrong?"

"HOW COULD YOU BE SO CRUEL!" Juvia screamed sending a large amount of boiling water straight towards Gray who grunted at the impact

Aquarius was quick to act lunging forward the pushed Gray out of the water before pulling out her base absorbing the water until there was nothing

"WHY YOU!" Juvia growled sending more scorching hot liquid towards the two which Aquarius immediately absorbed not fazed by the attack at all since she was practically immune to water type spells

"Ice make: Geyser" Juvia screamed as the attack hit her head on her body fell limp from the roof as tears welled within her eyes but just

Before she could hit the ground a hand grabbed ahold of her wrist

Looking up she saw him Gray, he pulled her back onto the roof ground 'he saved me....' She thought her eyes filled with admiration and.... Love

"We should go to the guild take her with us as well... Plue will be able to heal her wounds" Aquarius voice spoke as the rain vanished Gray nodded his head in agreement picking Juvia up bridal style

Aquarius couldn't help but feel a piercing gaze behind her but shrug it off as nothing

"So let me get this straight Mira put me to sleep to protect me and so I won't go back to fight invade my magic weakened?" Anna questioned as she braided her blonde locks

"Oui! Then we brought you to our emergency hide out" Reedus confirmed as he painted a canvas of the mage who sighed sadly

Anna tied her hair with her bobble standing up she made her way towards one of the windows staring at the green scenery that surrounded them

"What would happen if I choose to go back and help them?" She asked her lips curled upwards seeing a baby bird flying from its mother's nest for the first time

"I'm afraid I cannot let you do that, Mira gave me strict orders to keep you here S class or not" Reedus replied

"Wait how did you-" she went to speak but the sound of the door banging made the two freeze they watched huge dents being put into the door

"I can fight!" Anna called out as she aimed a bow and arrow  at the door Reedus stopped her bringing the weapons down shaking his head 

"No! Just stand back Anna!" Reedus demanded as he began to cover his brush with paint before drawing on his stomach

At that moment the door bursted opened all Anna could see within the smoke was a familiar pair of  ruby red eyes

"G-Gajeel?"

"YOU!?!"
