Capricorn POV:
The night after the party, I woke up with an extreme hangover and groan. Not only do I have classes today but I woke up late so I have to rush and get ready. I slid out my bed and fell on the floor. I huffed and got up, wiping myself off.

I went into my drawer and pulled out an fitted brown long sleeve shirt and put a while polo underneath. Then to top it all off I put on a white tennis skirt, white fishnets and air force 1's. I went to my small shirt mirror and smoothed out my hair so I didn't look like a complete mess. I grabbed my MacBook and slipped it into my book-bag. I zipped it up then headed off to class. I crept out of my room and bumped into Libra.

"Oh hey cap, i didn't see you there", she gave a startled giggle.

"Good-morning Libby", I greeted her. I acknowledged how pretty she looked today. Her grayish hair laid down nicely and complimented her outfit. She wore a white floral mesh top with a black skirt and heels.

"So you and Leo?", she gave me a curious look.

"What about us?", I asked confused.

"Are you two a thing?"

"It was just a one night thing, why do you ask?". I wonder why she would ask me that. "WAIT, do you like him?"

"No of course not, I was just wondering because you two seemed to be hitting it off".

I stared in to her foggy gray eyes, searching for whether of not she was being genuine. After a second she gave me a concerning look. It was as if she was saying, 'Do you trust me?'.

"Ah I see, but yeah as I was saying it was just a friendly thing. Anyways I'm gonna go find Cancer, I'll see you around".

I smiled at Libra then walked towards the kitchen. I saw Cancer sitting in one of the seats by the island. She had someone's hoodie on and smelt like cologne.

"Well look at what we got here, Miss Cancer coming home smelling like a guy", I teased as I walked and sat in the seat next to her.

"I don't know what you're talking about", she said while she got up and put her dish in the sink. "Anyways it's time to go".

I ran after her as she bolted out the door. As soon as I got out of the door, she was no where to be seen. That fucking bitch, where could she of went.

"BOO", a voice appeared behind me.

I jumped startled and looked behind me. Standing before me was Cancer smiling and blowing a kiss towards me.

"You fucking suck", I complained while walking away towards the classroom.

"Oh shut up you know you love me", she grinned.

"Now because you scared me, you owe me."

"If it makes you stop whining then fine", she complied.

"I'm cashing my favour in right now to ask a question, who exactly were you with last night?", I questioned her.

She stopped and turned towards me. She looked as if she was thinking about what she say.

"I was with Scorpio but it didn't mean anything, we're just friends. Either way I have no interest in him. I've heard how he's treated others and I'm not into that. Why would I be interested in a coldhearted, emotionless guy who only wants me for my body-"

"So that's what you think of me huh? You know fuck you Cancer, stay the fuck away from me and my friends or i'll make sure you'll get hurt.", Scorpio interrupted her.

Cancer looked at him horrified and confused. She tilted her head down and looked at the ground. Scorpio walked towards her and leaned his head right by her ear.

"You deserved what happened to you, I should of never stopped him from hurting you. You're nothing but a dirty slut who uses people for your own selfish needs", he spat at her. I saw tears drop down onto the ground from her.

"Stay the fuck away from her Scorpio, I don't give a shit about who the fuck you are. You are not gonna disrespect Cancer in front of me. She is one of the most considerate and selfless person ever, I don't understand how you can say that shit. FOR A MATTER OF FACT YOU DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT HER SO WATCH-", I was stopped by her putting her hand on my shoulder, signaling me to be quiet.

"It's okay Cap, he's right about everything. I deserved all of it, all of this is my fault", she paused and looked up at him. "I'm sorry for bothering you and being such a burden. You should of let him continued, I deserved it. Like you said I'm nothing but a dirty slut".

She looked up at him in such a intense way, it sent shivers down my spine, Ive never seen her like this before. I look towards Scorpio and his expression while looking at her was cold and had no emotion. I couldn't anaylze his face to understand how he felt about what she had said. But he stood there, dead silent.

"Also, if you want someone who would treat you right, i'd recommend pisces. She's amazing, and you deserve someone like her. Last night shouldn't of happened, it was her you should of went home with", she trailed on. Typical Cancer helping out her friends even when she's the one who needs help.

"Just stay away from her Scorpio", I snapped and held onto Cancer while walking away from him. While I passed by Scorpio I stopped to grabbed on to his jacket and pulled him down inches to my face. I gave him a cold stare and quietly said, "If I see her next to you again, next time it'll be you with a bullet in your head. They call us the snakes for a reason ", I smirked. His face was in shock as he realized what I meant.

"Capricorn you bitch-", he started but I walked away before he continued. No one disrespects me friends in front of me and gets away from it. He is gonna learn the hard way why people don't mess with us.

"You didn't have to stick up for me you know", Cancer finally spoke up.

"Yes I do because i know you would do the same for me", I explained. She looked at me confused then it was replaced with a soft look.

"Thank you for everything Capricorn"

"Of course now what kind of friend would I be if I didn't help"

"A normal one", she paused to think. "What did you whisper in Scorpio's ear? He looked startled at what you said", she questioned.

"Nothing much" I grinned, "I was just a little birdie giving him information, but i can tell you that he shouldn't bother you again".

Even though she was smiling it was clear that behind her eyes, she was feeling some type of sorrow. I wonder if she truly meant what she said about him? Then it hit me, she knew he was behind us, there was no way she didn't know. She wanted him to hear that, it was obvious she had no malicious intent. Someone must be making her do this, I pressed my lips together as I thought what to do with her. I never realized how intelligent she is and if I ever will. Everything she does is according to her plan, what a smart bitch.

"Cancer what would you say if I asked you to join The Snakes", I asked.

"I'd say yes", she said unfazed.

"Follow me, we will stop by the dorms and drop off our stuff. We are skipping classes today." We walked back over to our dorms and while doing so we ran into Taurus and Virgo.

"Oh my god, hello my lovely", Virgo sung.

"Hello the both of you, you guys look stunning as always", i complimented their loose and bright clothes. "What do you mean lovely? There's-". When I turned I saw that Cancer was nowhere to be found. Ha, she must of sensed them and crept away. 

"Never mind, although i'm wondering what you two are doing out of class anyways?"

"Scorpio called an emergency meeting, I don't know what's it about but he seemed pretty riled up. I haven't seemed him this hyped up since he first met Cancer", Taurus joked.

"If only you knew how riled up she got him", my body internally cringed at the irony of this situation. Soon enough they would know what I am so I must cherish this moment. I went in between the both of them and embraced them. While embracing them, they collapsed in my arms.

"I'm sorry, but this is for the best", I whispered to them. I gently let them onto the ground and then got my phone from my pocket. I dialed up my partner in the organization and on the second ring he answered.

"Yes capricorn~", he hummed.

"Leo get your ass up and clean this up for me, I can't carry them by myself ", I growled. 

"Right behind you dumbass", I turned around and saw Leo grinning like an idiot. 

"Thank god, now hurry your ass up and pick them up"

"Why can't you, you're perfectly capable of doing it yourself",  he yawned.

"LEO JUST DO AS YOU'RE TOLD, YOU LITTLE RUNT GOD YOU'RE SO DIFFICULT ", I lectured him.

"As long as it makes you shut up, i'll do it", Leo walked to them and tossed them on both of his shoulders. "Come on let's go back to base"

I followed after him, cursing under my breath because of the fact we have to walk to the car and I will have to help carry them at one point.

While walking I sensed a presence behind me-or well I sensed the absent of a presence. It was the person who was responsible for causing Taurus and Virgo to be paralyzed. This was the thing that earned themselves a spot on the team.

"Good job Cancer", I grinned at the pale petite girl standing under me. She looked up at me and gave me a smile that resembled a child getting candy. For someone who comes off so sweet, she has a bloodlust of everyone I know combined. While I stared into her eyes, she seemed hollow and emotionless, this wasn't the Cancer I knew. She had no sense of her usual vibrant aura. She was empty and that alone made me scared of her, she was unpredictable.
