Scorpio POV
I lay down on my bed, thinking about the day I met her.

I was making a run and was walking at a steady pace. It was around 6 so the sun was near setting. I made a turn into a side street as  i spotted two guys and what seemed like a little girl. "WHAT THE FUCK GUYS, GET AWAY FROM HER", I screamed at the two guys towering over the small girl.

"What are you gonna do if we don't ", one of them sneered. I take out my gun and point it at one of them.

"Listen here, this is how we're gonna handle this. You let her go and I might let you live." One of them raised their hand with a knife in it and struck down. Without hesitation I pulled the trigger and his lifeless body fell on top of the poor girl. The other random guy ran away and I ran to her.

She looked lifeless while she was staring at the ground. I pulled the guy off of her and looked at her.

"Are you okay?", I asked.

"..."

"Are you really not gonna say anything?"

She looked up at me with her big green puppy dog eyes and started crying. I bent down and put a strand of hair behind her ear.

"It's okay, you're safe now. I'll protect you". She stood up and wrapped her arms around me. Is she.. hugging me? I hate hugs but I let her slide because of what she just went through. I patted her head.

"Alright i'll walk you home now"~

Why did I let her hug me.. Damn it Scorpio you're getting soft. I need to find a new bitch at the party to fuck around with before it gets any worse. Though I hope she doesn't see me kiss another girl.. I don't want to hurt her. Why is everything so complicated. I groan and came to  one conclusion. No matter what happens tonight I am going to get fucked up because I can't be sober for much longer. I grab my phone and checked the time. 8:13. Shit I have to start getting ready.

I get up and put on a black turtle neck, khaki pants, long sock with vans. I grab my chains and rings and put them on. I took out a fag, and lit it up. After i finished smoking it, rolled up a blunt and smoked the whole thing. I then walked up to my dresser and grabbed my cologne, trying to cover up the smell. I went down stairs at my off campus house. In the kitchen sag, aqua and aries were setting up the led lights, bowl full of glow in the dark sticks and glow in the dark paint. Leo and Taurus set up the alcohol.

"Holy shit you stink", Aries said jokingly. He then pretended to faint from that smell.

"Did i over do it?", I asked.

"No you smell just fine", Taurus said while walking up to me.

"Here you go party animal", she gave me a glow in the dark necklace and bracelet. Virgo turned off the main lights and everything was glowing. There was a knock at the door.

"ILL GET IT", Leo yelled out as he ran to the door. In walked gemini, libra, capricorn, pisces, and cancer. Through my droopy eyes, I observed how gracefully she was walking. Cancer glanced at me then quickly looked away. Is she mad at me?

"Hey scorpio.", said an unfamiliar voice. I turned around and saw a girl with pink hair.

"You're pisces right?", I ask the girl. She nodded and went to go grab something out her pocket.

"Here", she handed me a piece of paper and then walked away. On the paper she had wrote her number on it. This is exactly what i needed, i shoved the paper in my back pocket.

After about 40 minutes the house was packed with people. I was walking around talking and greeting people. I was getting more and more intoxicated and I was losing my train of thought. I went outside to the pool and saw Cancer talking to a random guy. Something in me stirred up. I watched her movement, something about the way she moves is intoxicating more than alcohol itself. She had an energy to her that drew people to her. Something in me hurt when I saw her with another guy.

What is this feeling?

My emotions took over me and I started walking over there to her.

"Hey Scorpio where are you going?", a deep voice asked. I stopped and looked at the guy.

"What do you want Aquarius ?", I asked annoyed. "Come here", he signaled me to follow him and i obliged. We went to a room in the back of the house and he closed the door.

"What was so important that you had to drag me in here?"

"We've been receiving threats against us, if we don't go through our deal with the snakes they'll come after us." I let out a laugh.

"Let them do whatever, we have the advantage not them".

"Are you sure? Gemini told me there are rumours about how ruthless they are."

"Gemini? Why would you believe him?", I asked confused.

"He may be an airhead but he's popular and has a lot of informants".

Out of nowhere two random people came into the room making out. It took me a second to realize they were too drunk to realize their was people in the room with them. While looking at them it made my thoughts drift to cancer. I imagine my fingers tracing every inch of her soft body.

Aquarius coughed to get their attention and snapped me back to reality.

"Oh shit, we didn't realize anyone was in here", Leo said. Capricorn stood there blushing like crazy.

"You looked like you were enjoying yourself, I didn't think sweet little capricorn was like that", I said messing with her. She looked at me with wide eyes.

"WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN", she yelled. I started laughing so hard I was gasping for air.

"JUST BECAUSE I COME OFF SHY DOESNT MEAN IM INNOCENT. YOU CANT EVEN SAY ANYTHING SCORPIO, YOURE EVERYTHING BUT A SAINT. THE AUDACITY", Leo put his hand on her mouth, muffling her words.

"Sorry about her, she can be quite a hot head", Leo joked. Capricorn looked furious and tried to get out Leo's grip but was unsuccessful.

"We will leave you two boys alone now". Leo picked up Capricorn and slung her over his shoulder then made his way out the room.

"LEO PUT ME DOWN YOU SON OF A BITCH", she yelled at him while he carried her down the hallway.

"Anyways back to what i was saying", Aquarius said.

"HEY SORRY FOR BEING LATE", Aries said as he and sag came into the room. Aries stumbled down and took sag down with him.

"ARIES YOU DUMBASS GET OFF OF ME", Sagittarius yelled while hitting him.

"IM TRYING HOLD ON.", he got up and looked at Sag with a frown.

"Why are you looking at me like that", sag growled.

"I want you to say sorry for hitting me", he pouted.

"No, fuck you bitch face", she stuck her tongue out at him. "Say that again and see what happens", he warned her.

"Will you both shut the fuck up, i'm tired of hearing you two bickering 24/7", i snapped. They finally got quiet.

"I'm gonna go, we will talk about this later aqua."

I walk out the room and went to the living room and spotted Gemini.

"Hey gemini, have you seen cancer?"

"Uh yeah she just went upstairs with a guy", he responded.

The second I processed what he said I ran upstairs. I opened up every door, in hope of finding her. I came to the last room on the hall way and saw a horrific scene. The guy was on top of her, kissing her neck. He had his hand over her mouth. She was crying, she looked at me and it were as if her eyes were pleading for help.

"WHAT THE FUCK DUDE", I screamed and pulled him off her. I then proceeded to pin him down and punch him over and over. I was filled with rage, he had hurt her. I looked down at his face which was now a bloody pulp. I got up, spat on his face and kicked him hard in the rib cage. I looked over and saw cancer there. She was wrapped up in a blanket covering her nude body, my heart broke. Seeing her hurt like this hurt me more then anything I've been through before. I took off my turtleneck and gave it to her. I turned around while she put it on.

"Here, I'll take you to my dorm and we'll get you cleaned up." She nodded and got up.

"Do you need me to carry you?" She shook her head and eloped her fingers with mine. We went downstairs and found Aries.

"Stay here while i go talk to aries.", I instructed her. She complied and I walked over to Aries.

"What's up Scorpio?", he asked.

"I need you to take care of the guy upstairs. Make sure he suffers a long and painful death", I said coldly.

"What did he do?"

"He raped cancer", i said quietly. Aries face completely changed, he looked pissed.

"Where is the motherfucker"

"Upstairs, last room down the hall".

"I'll go get leo, gemini and aquarius to help me out"

"I can't help right now, I'm taking her to my dorm to clean her up", i told him.

He walked away and I went back to Cancer. She was on a couch sleeping. I picked her up and carried her out to my car. I slid her into the front seat and put on her seat belt for her. I got into the drivers seat and started the car. The drive home was silent, after a few minutes we arrived. I got out and went to her side. I unbuckled her seatbelt and picked her up. I carried her into my room and set her on my bed.

"Scorpio..", she mumbled.

"Yes?"

"I need to take a shower".

"Then go take one"

"I'm in a lot of pain so i was wondering if you'd help me..". I started blushing and turned away.

"Y-yeah sure, if that's what you need i'll help you".
I put her on my back and gave her a piggy back ride to the bathroom. I put her down and she brushed herself off. She closed the bathroom door and stood in front of me. She took the sweater i gave her off and revealed her bare body. I looked away, horrified. This is the first time i've seen a girl naked and didn't know what to do. I heard her sigh and she stepped into the shower. She turned on the water and winced in pain. I slipped off my shoes, pants and boxer and jumped in the shower.I take a brush and brush her hair as gently as I could. I take a wash cloth and put some lemon scented soap on it. I paused and was hesitant to touch her.

"Are you sure this is okay?", I asked her. She turned around and looked at me.

"Yes, I trust you", she answered.

I took the wash cloth and went around her body washing her. I rinsed her off and then got out to get her a towel. I dry her off and hand her one of my t-shirts and a pair of sags shorts. We laid in the bed for awhile and her breathing became more steady so I assume she's sleeping. I look at her and sigh.

"I'm sorry for failing you Cancer, you deserve someone better then me to protect you. This is all my fault".

I look away and stare at the wall. I felt an arm slip around my neck and it held me.

"You didn't fail me Scorpi, you saved me and I will do everything in my power to pay you back for it. I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, maybe I should stay away from you for now on...", she trailed off. I held onto her arms.

"I don't want you to stay away from me, you don't cause me trouble. I want to protect you, don't you get that?"

"I'm sorry, I pinky promise i'll stay by your side forever". I wrapped her extended pinky with my own.

"I pinky promise i'll stay by your side canc", i whisper. I lay down of the bed and she places her head on my chest. I hope this moment never ends. I fall asleep knowing she's safe and that seemed to be one of the most comforting thoughts.
