Kanda pov:

I finally reached a village with a doctor. He started to freak out when he saw Allen's condition and rushed him to the operating table. I tried to follow them but a nurse blocked my way.
"I'm sorry sir but you'll have to wait here until his condition is stable."

"What do you mean?" I was irritated by her interference.

The nurse continued "As I've said sir we can't allow you past here. We will let you see him if he makes it through surgery."

I was now thoroughly enraged "What the hell do you mean by if he makes it? I carried him all the way here and now you won't let me be near him, I refuse to wait out here while he's just over there!" I shouted my words at her and quickly shoved her out of the way in pursuit of Allen. Suddenly I felt two pairs of hands on my arms pulling me backwards. I struggled forward, it was probably some form of security trying to stop me.

"Kanda please stop!" A girls voice, I turned to see who had said this. How did they know my name. Instantly I recognized the pair holding me back. Lavi and Lenalee.

"Why the hell are you here." I directed my anger at the two, they had also given up on Allen despite being his friends.

"The real question is why didn't you return to the order after Komui called!" Lavi raised his voice with each word.

"Why do you think I didn't return to the order!" Wasn't my answer obvious? "How would I live with myself if I abandoned Allen!" I was now shouting at the duo with all of my rage.

Shame appeared on both of their faces and Lenalee looked away.

"Excuse me, please take this conversation elsewhere you are being incredibly loud in a hospital." The nurse gave all of us a death glare.

Lenalee pulled Lavi and me through the exit and into the street. It was time for me to know why they were here. "I'll ask once more, why in the hell are you here." I growled and looked between Lavi and Lenalee while resting one hand on Mugen.

"We are here to take you back Kanda, also we need to take Allen into custody." Lenalee avoided eye contact. "Every exorcist and finder is out searching for you two as we speak." Somehow I wasn't shocked that the order could stoop so low. "Please just come along peacefully."

"Like hell I'd agree to that." I shook my head and gripped mugen tighter. "You'll have to kill me if you plan on taking Allen."

Lavi gripped his hammer and Lenalee opened her mouth in shock. Lavi spoke "I'm sorry Yu, orders are orders. I don't want to kill you but I will be dragging you back one way or another."

I scoffed at his words. I won't let them take the beansprout. "Don't call me that." I drew my sword and Lavi and Lenalee activated their innocence. I have to win to save Allen.
