At the Tsukumo Residence:

It have been at least a day after Yuma, Sakura, Astral and Anubis have the duel with the Number hunter, Kite.

Both Yuma and Astral was sitting on Yuma bed in his bedroom, reflecting on the duel. Yuma have his eyes close, he couldn't help but think about how close he was to losing his soul and his Number cards, whilst Astral would fade away out of existence. If Sakura and Anubis would have suffer the same fate as him and Astral. Meanwhile Astral have the same thought and feelings, blaming himself for the duel

Yuma began to snore off, only for him to slumped over, to which make him open his eyes, fully awake. Only for him to stand on his feet, as he quickly fall face first onto the wooden floor

"Totally meant to do that" Yuma said as he sheepishly laugh at his actions, only for him to look over as he saw Astral, sitting alone, brooding

"You know, something needs to seriously change here, Astral? You spent the last couple of days staring at walls and making bummer comments" Yuma said as he cross both of his arms as Astral just stared down with his eyes close

"I cannot help it," Astral repiled as he finally opened his eyes

"Huh? Listen, you gotta get it together! Avoiding that guy, Kite, isn't a option....! He's gonna come for us eventually, and when he does, we need to be ready!" Yuma began to rant

"But if we are not....and we lose....?"

"You're supposed to be the one giving me, big inspiring speeches. You can't be sitting around....!" Yuma was cut off from his rant as the door to his bedroom open as he turn around to see Tori, Bronk and Sakura standing in the doorway

"Hey" Tori greeted as the trio walk into the room

"Huh? Hey guys, what up?" Yuma asked as he wonder why his friends was over at his house in the first place.

"Take a look" Bronk said as he handed Yuma duel disk over to him as Yuma sat on his bed. It display a giant red heart shaped ruby, crowned with the word WDC as it was seen on top of a globe that was orbited by two lines of duel cards that was forming a X

"World Duel Carnival?" Yuma asked, as he read the advert on his disk

"Yeah. It's like a big tournament or something. They're gonna be hosting the whole thing in Heartland and like these incredible duelists from all over the world...like places we never heard of, are gonna be there!" Bronk exclaimed excitedly at the news, whilst Yuma kept his gaze toward the floor, to which Tori, Bronk and Sakura look worried at Yuma

Sakura know that he wasn't feeling like himself since the duel with Kite and how Yuma blame himself for nearly losing the duel, his soul and Number cards and most important thing of them all - Astral

"What wrong? You don't seem psyched" Bronk asked, but Yuma didn't answer him back. Yuto materialize at the side of Sakura ,before he decided to float over to where Astral sat as he nuzzle his nose into Astral hair. Sakura walk over to were Yuma is, kneeling down in front of him as she place a hand on his knee, making him look at her

"It okay if you don't feel happy or excited about the tournament. You're going through a lot right now. From what I heard, this tournament maybe your chance to become a champion and one step closer to becoming the duelist that you always wanted to be" Sakura said as she only get a small sad smile of him

"Thanks" He repiled to her, unaware that Tori and Bronk let out a small sigh. They both thought Sakura was going to threatened and track down the person who did this to Yuma

"Yuma?" The quartet turned around, only to see Haru standing infront of Yuma, they're let out a gasp when they see her

"Grandma?! Where did you get here?" Yuma asked the question that the quartet all wanted to ask. It like she snuck into the room like a ninja. Slient, but deadly with a broom

"I need you to be a sweetheart and takes these to an old friend of mine. He lives out of town away" Haru said as she plonk a massive orange backpack infront of her grandson. At the top, it contains an egg carton, vegetables e.g. carrots, as well as a huge sausage. All of them was sticking through the top of the backpack

"There's is a note in there to"

"Looks really heavy...." Yuma commented, before he grumpily look away as Sakura, Tori and Bronk look at the scene before them. "Come on.....it Saturday, Grandma"

Suddenly, Haru happy attitude shifted, it like she woke up today and she chose either rage or violence. Maybe both. "Who are you and what have you done to my kind and generous grandson!? Where is he!?" she asked angrily, to which it freak Yuma out

"Aaaaaaahhhh! I'm right here and I'll do it" Yuma repiled to her, fearing for his life. Haru smile, before she turn to Sakura, Tori and Bronk

"Would you three accompany Yuma, please?" She asked

"We wouldn't mind at all, Mrs Tsukumo" Sakura answer her as Bronk and Tori both nodded their head at the elderly women

A few hours later:

Yuma, Bronk, Sakura and Tori were seen walking up a huge steep, endless flight of stone stairs. Yuma was carrying the orange backpack that his grandma have gifted him, twice as heavy as him, whilst Astral sitting ontop, still brooding from earlier. Sakura was getting tired due to walking each steps, with Anubis looking at the sunset, in awe with the colour

"I hope you're comfortable with the view from up there. Oh? Sunset nice" Yuma asked Astral with an sarcastic tone in his voice, to which earn him a smack on the head from Sakura. "Ow!" He exclaimed in pain

"Please, don't get used to it" Sakura said, as she was trying to catch her breath from the death-trap of the stairs. Bronk and Tori was in front of them, both of them breath heavily as they were trying to catch their breath. Yuma look up, his facial expression was a look of shock as he seen that he have to climb so many stairs before he reached his destination

"Every time that I think we're at the top, there's more steps to climb. It never end. My legs feel like jelly" Yuma complain as he lied down on his stomach, on the ground, where Bronk and Tori are

"I wish there was a elevator that we could take" Sakura mutter underneath her breath

"Well, try and look at it this way Yuma," Bronk said as he try to reassure Yuma. "If we turn around now, you'll have to carry that bag, all the way back"

"You're right," Yuma said, as he quickly jump back onto his feets, with a new determination spotted on his face. "I could totally do this. I have to feel the flow"

With that said, Yuma quickly grab a hold on Sakura wrist ( against her saying no) as he dashed up the remaining stairs in a massive trails of dust as he kept on running. Finally, they have reach the top of the hill. Sakura was trying to catch her breath as she was planning on murder someone who go by the name, Yuma.

At the top of the hill, there was a dojo. "What is this place?" Yuma asked as he only get a shrug as an answer from Sakura

"I don't know. Maybe Middle Earth." Sakura answer before walking toward the dojo

"Special delivery" Yuma called out as he and Sakura both nervously enter the building, as the pair find out that there is no one around.

"Hey, is anybody home?" Yuma once again call out as a shadow is seen above, yellow eyes glinting in the dark. Sakura turned around as she let out a gasp as a figure jumps on the bag of food. Yuma let out a scream

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!"

"What wrong?" Tori asked as both she and Bronk ran up the stairs and appear at the doorway, to see what the commotion all about

"Monkey attack! Monkey attack! Monkey attack!" Yuma was seen running around in circle, having a meltdown as Sakura was seen standing by the side watching him. "Monkey attack! D..d...d...I, there's a monkey on my back!" Yuma stop running as he pointed upwards at the intruder

The monkey that was sutting on Yuma back, turned out to be an elderly man, sitting on top of the rugsack, eating the delicious foods that Haru have prepared. This caused Sakura to laugh

"Friends! You got any dipping sauce" the elderly man asked the teens

"Uh........?" Tori was confused with the situation

"That monkey look like an old man" Bronk commented on the old man apperance, as Yuma look up as he quickly calm down, knowing that he isn't in any danger at all. Astral was still in his funk, lost in deep in his own thoughts as Anubis look at the man with a curious look on his face

The elderly man quickly gulped down a bowl of soup, before he place the empty bowl down as he let out a burp. The quartet consist of Yuma, Bronk, Sakura and Tori all look shocked at how much he have eat

"Yep. A full belly is indeed a happy belly! Be sure to give my thanks to Haru" He said as he patted his full stomach that was fill with delicious, mouth-watering foods

At the mention of his grandma name, Yuma head peak up. "Did you said Haru? You mean my grandma? How do you two know each other, old timer?" Yuma asked

"Old Timer!" The elderly man didn't like that nickname at all. "The name happen to be Roku! But you can call me Master Roku!"

"Master Roku?!?" The quartet all asked in unison with each other

"That's correct" Roku answered

At Tsukumo Residence:

"You sent Yuma to the Duel Sanctuary?" Kari asked her grandmother ( who was sat down drinking Tea at the table), Kari found out that her little brother was there, instead of being at home right now

"Grandma, the more Yuma get involved with all this duel stuff, the more danger he's gonna be in. Think about mom and dad" Kari said as she thought it was bad idea to do as it was apparently against whatever their parents had told them about dueling

Haru place her cup down before she spoke,"I'd love nothing more than to keep our precious Yuma safe forever....but you and I both know there's no stopping his passion for dueling. We might as well prepare both him and Sakura for what lies ahead"

"What lies ahead?" Kari was not getting it at all.

Back at the Dojo:

"Huh? We can't go home?!?" The quartet asked in unison, as they were surprised that they are not able to get home.

"You've miss the last bus by an hour and everyone around here calls it a sundown!"

"So then we walked?" Tori said

"But then you wouldn't be able to clean this room for me" Roku said as he walk through another doorway inside the dojo

"What do you mean, clean this room?" Yuma asked as the quartet that consists of himself, Tori, Bronk and Sakura all turn around to see that the room was an entire mess, with only candles that light up the room

"This place is a mess. It would take us forever to clean up" Yuma moan at the sight

"It okay Yuma, I tidy-up my room as well as help with the chores around the house with my parents. Also I help with chores for Mr and Mrs.Kang when they're not feeling well. I help too" Sakura said

"She's right. You better get started, your grandmother note said you do anything I asked you to do. Your sweet little granny not a liar, isn't she?" Roku asked Yuma before he disappear, shutting the door behind him

His comment tick off Yuma. "Of course not, but she.....oh?" Yuma trailed off his sentence as they began to clean the room, with Tori and Sakura polished the wooden floor with a cloth each, Bronk carrying and lifting heavy objects, Yuma was seen with a broom

"Put that stuff in the back closet, Bronk" Tori said

"Hey Sakura. Are you alright?" Yuma asked the older female who was lost deep inside her thought

Sensing that Yuma was asking her a question, Sakura snapped out of her thought, "I'm fine. Thank you for asking" she replied to him with a small smile on her face

"I know. Are you thinking about Kite or about your par....?" He was interrupted by Tori

"Yuma! You aren't helping any!" Tori snapped angrily at him. Sakura heard a faint voice as she turn her head to see where the voice was coming from, only to see it was the door that Master Roku have disappeared from. She left the cloth on the floor as she began to walk toward it

"But, I'm trying and this broom is defective. That's it...huh?" Yuma stop what he was doing when he notice that Sakura was near the door. Is this was the reason why she look so lost, he thought to himself

"Do any of you guys know what Master Roku got inside of here?" Sakura asked as Yuma walk over to her side. They both opened the heavy wooden door and gasped in surprise and awe. Inside the room, was full of the legendary Duel monsters that belong to Legendary duelist themselves. This was a duelist dream come true

"Whoa, it's Dark Magician and Blue Eyes White Dragon! And.....and look there Red eyes! There's Neos and oh, it's Dark Magician Girl!" Yuma began to fanboy

"Amazing. Look there also Cyber End dragon, Destiny Hero Plasma and Gandora the Dragon of Destruction!" Sakura said in awe with the place with a big smile on her face, as she walk toward the Dark Magician statue. Something about this statue seen familiar to her, but she can't place a finger on it yet

"All the Legendary monsters in one pace. Wow. Ah" Yuma continue on with his fanboy

"Yuma, Sakura? Stop trying to get out of....?" Tori was cut off by the sight infront of her as she walk into the room

"What's in here...? Bronk asked the green haired girl, before he walk into the same room that Sakura, Tori and Yuma enter. Both he and Tori walk over to were Yuma and Sakura are as the quartet look in awe at the place. "This is awesome!" Bronk exclaimed, as a laughter brought them out of their trace

"I'm glad you're like them" Roku said as he step out from behind one of the statue as Astral and Anubis hover about the scene before them

"I poured my heart and my soul into making these wooden statues. Every time one of my little birdies fly from the nest. I carve one of these in his or her honour" Roku explain to the curious teens

"Little birdies? You mean students?" Sakura asked him

"Yes. My protégé. This historical duel sanctuary is a training house, a place of knowledge, many of incredible duelists have master their arts in this room." He said before he turn to face Sakura, "Including your father"

"My father?" Sakura said

"He was one of my best student"

"Wow. That is so cool and so are these statues, they look like they're about to move" Tori said

"But they do move" Roku repiled. His caught their attention

"No, they don't. Are you serious?" Yuma asked him

"But how? They don't see like they're about to move at any given time" Sakura said

"I am. During the duel, these statues come to life. Do you want to see?" Roku asked

"Get ready to get deck, old timer" Yuma accepted Roku offer to duel him as he got his duel gazer ready. Sakura mentally faceplam herself at Yuma nickname for Roku

"Augmented reality vision link established" A computer voice speak as Bronk and Tori got their duel gazer on as Sakura have wesr her black Duel Visor Tattoo on her left eye.

"Let duel!" Both Yuma and Roku said simultaneously

Roku: 4000 / Yuma: 4000

"In this duel training scenario, two legends have already been summoned to each of our field. Over here, I've Blue-Eyes statue Dragon and Red Eyes statue dragon! You have statue Dark Magician and statue Dark Magician Girl! The decks we're using are a wooden training deck made by your truly! Now, the four legendary monsters on ours field remain as wooden statues" Roku said as he explained the duel

Red Eyes Statue Dragon ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 / Level 7

Blue-Eyes Statue Dragon ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 / Level 8

"Their powers are sealed away. They have zero attackpoints, they cannot engage in battle"

Statue Dark Magician ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 / Level 7

Statue Dark Magician Girl ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 / Level 6

"They what?!? So you were kidding when you said that they could move!?" Yuma asked him

"You could say that they could move, you can believe that they cannot. That choice is yours to make" Roku told him

"Uh....." Yuma was confused with the riddle that Roku presented him with as Astral move closer

"Believe in yourself, Yuma!" Sakura encourage him

"Believe in the heart of the cards!" Anubis cheer as he got a look from Sakura. "What?" He asked her

"Yuma, you have the power to bring them to life" Astral explained to Yuma, as his explanation brought him out of his brooding state ( or a funk, according to Anubis)

"Huh? But he just.....?"

"Just one of the cards in your deck must be the key to unlocking their powers" Astral explained as Yuma look over at the wooden deck

"So that mean.....oh!! I get it!"

Out of nowhere, Roku sit down on the floor, "Should I get comfy? Maybe make myself some tea?" He taunt Yuma

"Back on your feets Gramps! Cuz here I go! I draw! Yuma draw a card from his deck, before he look at the card, "Whoa....sweet. I activating the statues own field spell!"

"Oh?"

"This field spell removed the seals placed on all statues monster" Yuma exclaimed as the air around the statues turned into a dark purple mist as it was filled with sparks. The trio consists of Tori, Bronk and Sakura watch in awe as the army of sparks touches the statues, their eyes glow brightly as the statues began to cracking

"Come on, everyone. Let feel the flow!" Yuma called out as Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red Eyes Black Dragon all came to life as their attackpoints increased

Dark Magician ATK: 2500 / DEF: 2100 / Level 7

Dark Magician Girl ATK: 2000 / DEF: 1700 / Level 6

Blue-Eyes White Dragon ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2500 / Level 8

Red-Eyes Black Dragon ATK: 2400 / DEF: 2000 / Level 7

"This is so amazing!!!" Yuma began to cheer as he jump up and spun around in his spot, "Legendary monsters are officially in the house!"

"This is like the greatest thing I have ever seen" Bronk commented with stars in his eyes as Tori let out a sigh at his behaviour

"Wow! This is amazing" Sakura exclaimed with awe as Dark Magician Girl look at her and wink, before she turn back to face the field

"All right, Dark Magician! Let's do this, attack his Red-Eyes! Dark Magic Attack!" Yuma commanded as Dark Magician spun his staff around as he let out a massive bolt of violet energy and lightning bolt toward Red-Eyes Black Dragon. To which it completely shattered and destroy Red-Eyes, making Roku lifepoints decrease

Roku: 3900 / Yuma: 4000

"HaHa! Not too bad, little scrapper" Roku compliment on Yuma strategy

"Aw, yeah! This is so great!" Yuma said

"Question? You may have made a monster move, but can you truly move a monster?" Roku asked

"What are you talking about!?! I just destroyed Red-Eyes with Dark Magician!" Yuma angrily answer

"Hmmm. Perhaps you need a new perspective" Roku said

"Huh?" Out of nowhere, a bright flash of light appear and Yuma have disappeared into thin air as he was turn into a statue himself. The trio consists of Sakura, Astral and Anubis looked at each other, before looking back and forth between Dark Magician and the statue. Yuma have turn into Dark Magician

"This is quite an interesting scenario" Astral commented on the scene before him

"Is it me or did Yuma just turn into Dark Magician all of a sudden or is he the statue?" Sakura asked

"Possibly? At least he didn't turn into Dark Magician Girl" Anubis answer

"Look alive sunny, because it's my turn now! I activate a spell, Polymerization! And now I fuse three Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my graveyard and hand to fusion summon..... Blue-Eyes Ultimate Statue Dragon!" Roku yell out as the three Blue-Eyes transforms into a statue and then into real life three headed dragon as it let out a mighty roar at it old foe

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Statue Dragon ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 / Level 12

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon ATK: 4500 / DEF: 3800 / Level 12

"Haha. Now my ultimate dragon, attack Dark Magician Girl! Neutron blast attack!" Roku commanded as Blue-Eyes generate a white ball of blast energy from their mouth as the blast directly hit Dark Magician Girl, making her turn back into wood as it crack, destroying Dark Magician Girl in the progress

"Dark Magician Girl!!!!" Yuma or who he was at the moment in time - the Dark Magician called out as his lifepoints decrease rapidly to 1500

Roku: 3900 / Yuma: 1500

"HaHa! Next, I activate the De-fusion spell card from my hands! So by sending my Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to my extra deck, it splits apart and now I have three Blue-Eyes White Dragon again!" Roku announce as three Blue-Eyes White Dragon appear on his field as the trio let out a roar together

Blue-Eyes White Dragon ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2500 / Level 8 x3

"Muuuaaaah! Wait! Don't do it! Don't attack...! Uhhh" Yuma closed his eyes, thinking that it was the end of the duel for him

"Yes....when staring into the eyes of a powerful foe, you tremble in fear, it only natural" Roku said

At this point, Astral close his eyes as he thought about the duel with Kite. "Our monsters are no different. They're forced to comfort their fears, every time we duel" both Astral and Yuma eyes both open at Roku explanation

"Feel the terror buckle under the weight of your fear! Tremble as my Blue-Eyes attack you directly! Go, White Lightning!" Roku commanded as the three Blue-Eyes White Dragon fly toward Yuma as they fired a white lightning ball from its mouth which knock Dark Magician off his feets, crying out in pain as he drop the staff onto the floor below. Low and behold, Yuma turn back to his normal self as he fall to the floor

Roku: 3900 / Yuma: 0

Winner: Roku

The statues that Roku and Yuma was dueling with, change back to their wooden state as they were at the beginning of the duel

"He lost!" Tori exclaimed as she, Sakura and Bronk watch on the scene before them, Astral hover over Yuma, looking concern about him

"I may have pushed you a little bit hard" Roku remark as both he and Yuma took off their duel gazer as the latter began to walk toward Yuma.

"But you felt it, didn't you? You felt the fear amongst of us, wrestle every time you summon into battle with your name. When you learn to make that fear your own and when you master how to tame it. Only then you will truly be able to move a monster" Roku told the heart-broken boy infront of him

"I can't believe it. I never really knew, I always figured monsters weren't afraid of anything but that not true. They're just like me" Yuma said as Sakura walk over to him as she place one of her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"It okay to feel afraid, Yuma" She told him, to he look up at her and gave her a small smile as an answer. One of these day, he will get over his fear in order to face Kite once more

The Next Morning:

After his duel with Master Roku, Yuma is seen cleaning and polishing the statues of the Legendary Duel monsters as Bronk, Sakura and Tori all watch on

"This is boring,Yuma, weren't we suppose to watch a movie today" Bronk asked his friend

"If you guys want to take off, go ahead. I think I'm gonna stick around a little longer. These statues won't clean themselves" Yuma answer back. Both Tori and Sakura smiled at each other, both of them liking the kind of person that Yuma was turning into

"In that case, I'll whip us some breakfast!" Tori happily exclaimed as she run toward the kitchen to make breakfast for the five of them

"Wait!....but.... we were supposed to go to the movies..." Bronk grumpily said as Sakura offer a sympathetic smile towards him as she make her way over to Yuma

"Imagine living in a place like this?" Sakura said as Yuma greeted her with a smile

"Yeah. After this, I'm gonna practice on my dueling skills" He repiled to her, not before spotting something that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place

"Good morning" Tori greeted Roku cheerfully at the door as he return a smile at her, whilst Yuma was cleaning the statues as Bronk was fast asleep with his back against one of the pillar

Roku enter the room as he started to appreciate what Yuma is doing, he let out a smile before he start to leave, not before halting in his spot when he heard the conversation between Yuma and Sakura

"This statue is all mess up right here. It's almost like it was cut in half and put back together. Did someone break this one once? Why would anyone do that?" Yuma asked

"I don't know. I afraid something bad is gonna happen soon" Sakura repiled as the pair, along with Bronk and Tori didn't see Roku leaving the Dojo to go outside

Yuma began to polishing another one of the statues, before he stopping as he, Astral and Sakura all heard the front door of the dojo creak. A man dressed up in a black, purple and blue ninja attire with a mixed of black and light blue hair, with sharp eyes walk into the room

"Hey,uh, can we help you?" Yuma asked the strange man as he walk over to him

"And who are you?" The man asked as he turned around with a fierce and deadly look in his eyes as Yuma was struggling to come up with an answer

"Yuma! Sakura!" The duo turn around to see Master Roku in a bad shape as Tori and Bronk was seen supporting him incase he fall due to his injuries

"What happened?!" Yuma asked as Sakura ran over to Master Roku in order to tend to his injuries

"Get away my boy!" Roku warn him

"Uh. Alway from what? You mean this guy? Who is he?" Yuma began to answer multiple of questions

"Kaze," Roku answered. "A former pupil of mine"

"Your formal pupil?" Sakura repiled as Roku nodded his head at her, before he began to tell the tale of Kaze

Roku Flashback of Kaze:

Inside the duel sanctuary, underneath the crescent moon that shine brightly in the mist of twilight, a duel have just ended

A young man wearing plain training robe, with bandages wrapped around both his legs and arms, fall down onto the floor. His lifepoints went from 2600 to 0 in a flash

"You lose again!" Roku yell out to his pupil. "And you will keep losing if you let your anger blind you! I told you not to play that card, why did you not listen. You will never control the darkness inside, unless you ....."

Roku didn't get very far as Kaze let out a growl of anger, pain and furry as he got up from his position on the floor, as he goes for the Katana that laid on the floor beside him

"Kaze! Don't listen to your rage!" As his master try to warn him, but he didn't listen at all as Kaze slice through one of the statues - a wooden ninja statue

"Kaze!" Roku shouted, as the head of the statue fall to the floor below, he let out a gasp of shock and disbelief as he stop running through the hallway in shock. "Ah.....! Leave this place. Now" his voice drip with anger, this wasn't the Kaze he knew

Kaze turned around to face his now former master with hatred in his eyes as he issue a warning, "One day, I will defeat you and the legendary deck will be mine"

End of Roku Flashback, Present:

"That day have finally arrived, Roku. I'm the master now. Where's the deck?" Kaze asked his former master

"I think I accidentally threw it away" Roku told his former pupil

"You think I'm joking?"

"Your spirit have been corrupted by darkness! You don't even deserve to look at the legendary deck!" Roku told Kaze, who in return let out a scream, fill with rage and anger, as he took it upon himself to draw his sword toward the statue that he have broke as both Yuma and Sakura eyes wide open in shock

"I'll destroy everything here if I have to!"

"Oh no you don't!" Yuma yelled out as he jumped onto Kaze as Yuma grab hold of him by his waist, as the latter tried to shake off the unexpected surprise attack from the boy

"Yuma! No!" Both Roku and Sakura yelled out, both of them concerned as Kaze finally managed to throw Yuma onto the wooden floor

"Yeah, it does.....! Because Roku is our master!" Yuma exclaimed with a happy glint in his eyes at his statement as Kaze let out a low growl

"Roku my what now.....?" Sakura repiled to Yuma

"Oh sorry" Yuma sheepishly apologise to her

"Use what I taught and victory will be yours" Roku answered

"Huh? I guess that senile old fool will take anyone in?" Kaze said

"Whatever your after, you're have to go through us to get it!" Yuma warn him

"If that so? That won't be a problem"

"Duel gazer go!" Yuma exclaimed as he have already activate his duel screen, unfolding his duel disk, putting on his gazer ready to due Roku wayward pupil. "Let roll"

"Augmented reality vision link established"

"Let duel" both Kaze and Yuma both start off with 4000 lifepoints to their name

Yuma: 4000 / Kaze: 4000

"I have a bad feeling about this" Tori said as she, Sakura, Bronk and Roku watched Yuma with worry.

"Do you think Kaze have a Number card on him, Anubis?" Sakura asked him

"Do I look like a Number card detector to you?!? Of course, he have a Number card on him" Anubis answer to her

"I am right by your side" Astral said as he float over to stand by his friend

"Uh....Astral? I thought I was on my own for this one?" Yuma repiled

"I believe that I have a lot to learn from this old man. That make me his student too, also"

"Then let school this fool! It my turn....I draw!" Yuma said as he drew a card from his deck. "I summon Gagaga Magician!" Yuma call out as he summon Magician onto the field before him

Gagaga Magician ATK: 1500/ DEF: 1000 / Level 4

"Next, I place one card facedown and end my turn" Yuma said as his facedown card materialize infront of him

"What a joke" Kaze commented on Yuma monster, just before he start, "I draw! I summon Flame Armor Ninja!" He exclaimed as a ninja dressed up in red ninja attire with silver armor pieces appear on his field

Flame Armor Ninja ATK: 1700 / DEF: 1000 / Level 4

"Then from my hand, I activate the spell card, Armor Ninjitsu Art of Teleportation! The power of this card allow me to summon a ninja monster from my hand. Behold, Air Armor Ninja!" A ninja dressed up in green and blue ninja attire with the same silver armor pieces as Flame Armor Ninja appear on his field

Air Armor Ninja ATK: 1400 / DEF:1400 / Level 4

"Due to the teleportation affect, my Ninja's can't attack. However...."

"I don't think I like where this is going"

"I overlay my Flame Armor Ninja and Air Armor Ninja," Kaze yelled as Flame and Air Armor Ninja turned into a bright red and green ball. "With these two monsters, I built the overlay network and Xyz summon!" Kaze declare as the two bolts of energy swirl into a vortex. "I summon Blade Armor Ninja!"

A Ninja in purple, black and gold armor appear on Kaze field, holding two Katana behind it back. It overlay unit glow a green colour as Kaze close his eyes

Blade Armor Ninja ATK: 2200 / DEF: 1000 / Rank 4

"Yikes, that didn't take to long Astral" Yuma said

"No, it did not and this is worrisome" Astral responded

Suddenly, Kaze's eyes snapped open, his eyes fill with rage as he hope to prove himself that he was the true master of the Duel Sanctuary legendary deck. "Now, Blade Armor Ninja, attack Gagaga Magician!" He commanded as Blade ninja run toward Gagaga Magician with it Katana, hoping to do it master deed

"That's not happening on my watch!" Yuma exclaimed. "I play the trap, Gagaga Shield! Now my Magician can use the shield to protect itself" He explain as a black, gold and red shield appear in Gagaga hand

Blade Armor Ninja draw out one of it Katana's as it was near it target. The Ninja slice through Gagaga, but was unsuccessful in destroying it foe as the shield have protected Gagaga Magician from Blade Armor Ninja attack

"Nice try, Ninja pants. But my Gagaga isn't go go going anywhere" Yuma said as Sakura mentally faceplam herself at this comment

"Perhaps? But you will feel it sting" Kaze commented as Blade Armor Ninja still went on the attack, it target have become Yuma as his lifepoints decrease due to the attack. His lifepoints went from 4000 to 3300

Yuma: 3300 / Kaze: 4000

Blade Armor Ninja was seen jumping on the sanctuary pillars. "And by now by using an overlay unit, Blade Armor Ninja can attack again!" Kaze said as Blade ninja absorb one of the overlay units, leaving one left as it was ready to strike again. "And once again, you take damage!"

Yuma was sent backwards due to the impact of the attack as his lifepoints decrease rapidly

"Yuma!?!" Tori said with a worried tone in her voice as the quartet that consists of herself, Sakura, Bronk and Master Roku all watch on

Yuma: 2600 / Kaze: 4000

"Poor fool," Kaze appear on the screen. "If you hadn't tried to protect your monsters, you wouldn't have taken any damage at all"

Yuma, after a struggle, finally managed to get on his feets, his eyes fill with determination. "My monsters are my friends! They're not just things who just battle for me, they're apart of me! They got my back and I got their"

"Friends? If you want to believe in something so pathetic, then go ahead. That kind of thinking will lead you to your own undoing." Kaze said as he try to bring Yuma confident down

"Ya think so? Let give me all you got and let's find out"
