Inside the Emperor Key:

After the Duel with Nelson, witnessing Sakura duel with Kaiden, the arrival of Anubis and the duel between Yuma and Cathy. Astral was seen floating down after he discover that on one of the center of a golden gear was a green-glowing number that represent one of the Number Cards that is currently in Astral possession. That Number was Number 83: Galaxy Queen, the Number that was formerly possessing Nelson Andrews aka The Sparrow 

Holding out his hand toward the glowing Number before him, he let out a smaller version of the Number, it began to shine brightly. It activate the gear before him as they  began to move as it was being brought back to life for the very first time. Astral began to take notes of this strange gizmo that seem to lead him to more questions, rather than answers

"This gear puzzle seem to move every time I recover one of the Ninety-nine Number Card? But why....?" Astral question himself on why the gears began to move when the Numbers were being brought back to the ship 

"Could it have something to do with my memory loss? Could solving this puzzle, also solve my amnesia?" He wonder to himself, "And what does Yuma have to do with it all? Why is this apparatus inside his key? And what is Sakura role in this?"

The scene then cut to outside, an airship with light green glowing and golden circle rails all over them made out of hundreds of gears appear. What is the purpose of the airship and will Astral solve the mystery puzzle to unlock his memories?

Present:

"I made it..." Yuma announce as he finally enter the classroom with Sakura, who was waiting for him outside, at the entrance of the school, trying to catch his breath

"Afraid not..." Caswell said as he startled Yuma as Sakura glance over to see him, Tori and Bronk  walking over to the pair, before Caswell said, "Sakura maybe on time, but you're late, big time!"

"I'm not" Yuma protested as Caswell took Yuma deck as he fanned out his cards as the blue hair boy immediately began to check through his deck 

"Hmm. You are" Caswell replied to him

"Late how?" Yuma asked him 

"Late in explaining what's up with those Numbers Cards you play with?" Caswell said, just as Sakura narrow her eyes at him 

"Say what?" She said, before she glance over at Yuma, to which he flinch in his spot as he shake his head at her, Yuma turn his head to focus on Caswell. "If you means why they're not in my deck right now? That's a no-brainer"

"It is?" Caswell said, not believing him

"It is! They're only here when both Astral and Anubis are here" Tori answered 

"Hmm. And who is Astral? And who is Anubis?" Caswell interrogate Yuma, as Sakura look over behind him at Bronk and Tori, to which they both flinch and shudder in fear 

"You know what? It doesn't matter, in the end, it's clear why you're hiding them away. Because they're your secret weapons....what lets you win all the time" Caswell said 

"Hey! That not true at all!" Yuma said as he defend himself from Caswell. "Sure, I have some good cards, but the reason I win my matches.... is because I am a good duelist!"

"Yeah....sure it is? Come on, you could never defeated Shark or Flip without them....tell me I wrong?" Caswell said 

"You are so wrong" Sakura said, as the trio that consist of Tori, Bronk and Yuma all froze in fear and horror. Caswell slightly flinch when he noticed her angry, annoyed aura 

"You see here, you. When Yuma duel, he only use Number Cards, not because they help him win, but to help find the others who are possessing their holder. They're different from XYZ monster's because they are dangerous cards as they can easily amplify the darkness and desires of their holder user, whether these cause were good or bad. Do you want to be posses?" Sakura asked, holding her hardback book that she pull out from her bag, behind her, trying very hard not to use it 

"Posses?" Caswell asked in fear and terror, while Yuma was sweating like crazy

"Sakura, please don't say anything more" Yuma said as he try to stop her from saying more, but he instead got a slap right across his head with the book as he wince in pain. Both Tori and Bronk quickly calm down as the pair sweat-drop

"Like Yuma, I also have a Number Card, but I don't use it during a duel. I only use it when an opponent is under the influence of another Number" Sakura explain as Caswell began to calm down 

"I see. You know, ever since you defeated Mr.Kay, your dueling skills ate much better than Yuma" Caswell said with a small smile on his face 

"Hey! I'm not that bad either!" Yuma exclaimed as he recover from Sakura book attack, before he start to argue with Caswell. "Hello! I told you were wrong, but if you want me to tell you again, no problem! You're wrong! Wrong!  Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!"

".....wow, 6 wrong" Tori exclaimed

"I'd gone 7, just to be sure" Bronk replied to her

"Yeah"

"Plus 7 is supposed to be a lucky number, so there's that" Sakura said as both Bronk and Tori nodded their head

"Look, you can say wrong a hundred times, but I think we both know there's one way to settle this" Caswell said

"A duel? You got it. I'll take on anyone you want and beat 'em without a single one of my Number Cards!" Yuma declare as the trio of Bronk, Tori and Sakura all groan and face palmed. There go Yuma once again, making another bet in order to prove himself to others

"Yuma?" Tori asked 

"Oh boy" Bronk mutter underneath his breath 

"Is it to late to swap him for a winged Kuriboh?" Sakura asked

"Really? Even if the individual I want you to take on is your old foe, Shark?" Caswell said as he held the deck toward Yuma as the latter took his deck back

"No prob. Let's go find him and get dueling"

"Wait! Hold on, Yuma" Bronk call out to him. "You might wanna think about looking for him" He warn his friend

"Huh?" Yuma asked confused

"Why's that?" Sakura said

"After you defeated Shark, he really changed. Starting hanging around with some roughneck dude. If you decide to do this, you could be in for the duel of your life!"

After School:

Later on, the duo of Yuma and Sakura was seen wandering through the busy area of Heartland Shopping Mall and into a dark, creepy alleyway somewhere around the back 

"Why can't anyone understand, it's the Duelist that make the card, not the other ways around" Yuma remark as he thought about Caswell words from earlier on 

"You know Yuma. Most duelists believe in the Heart of the Cards. It about the belief and faith that a Duelist has in their Deck." Sakura said as Yuma turn to face her as he let out a small smile 

"I guess you're right" Yuma said, before both his key and Sakura pendant began to glow as Astral and Anubis materialize in front of the pair 

"I understand Yuma, if that help" Astral said 

"No, it doesn't help.....!" Yuma said as both he and Sakura descend down a set of stairs, "and do you know why? Cuz it's your fault that I'm even in this mess, Astral!" He replied back to him with an angry tone in his voice 

"My fault? How?" Astral asked, he sounded angry. Sakura let out a sigh as she and Anubis both watch the pair bicker 

"Is he always like this?" Anubis asked her

"Yuma? He is hasty, energetic, and cheerful but he also short-temper and very stubborn. But once you get to know him more, Anubis, you will get use to it" Sakura answer to the humanoid jackal 

As he nodded his head as the two face Yuma and Astral as the duo that consist of Yuma and Sakura reach the bottom of the stairs 

"Wait up!" A familiar voice call out to them as the quartet turn around to see Bronk and Tori walking down the stairs behind them 

"Where on earth are you two going?" Tori asked, worried for her friends, hoping that Yuma doesn't intend to go through with this

"To duel Shark," Yuma replied. "This is where I heard he's been hanging"

"And I here for the moral support" Sakura answer as the trio that consist of Tori, Bronk and Yuma shake their head at her answer, before they began to move forward to their destination 

At the end of the alleyway, there was a old desolate and deserted arcade, it neon lights flash incessantly as the sign above them read the word, game. The letter 'A' was about to fall off 

"He's here alright. His runner park here" Sakura said as she pointed towards the vehicle that 

"Way creepy. What do you say we grabs some corn dogs instead? Seriously, it my treats...." Bronk suggested as he doesn't want to be here at all, but Yuma continue to march towards the arcade door. "Wait, Yuma....!"

"Hey! We're coming to!" Sakura said as the trio follow Yuma through the arcade door 

"What is this place?" Yuma asked as he look around the structure of the deserted arcade. 

"I'm getting strange vibes" Astral said as he float in front of Yuma, while Anubis float closer to Sakura 

"This place is creepy" Tori said as she stood behind Yuma and Sakura looking round the place with frightened eyes, before she heard the sound of chains, rattling on the ground, follow by footstep. "Hey, you hear that?" She asked 

"What in the world?" Yuma asked 

The trio turn around to see a tall, dark-skinned muscular man with brown eyes, black hair styled in dreadlocks, with blond - brown eyebrows. He wore a black muscle tank-top that show off his physique, a thick metal chain that wrap around his wrist like a cuff bracelet. He also wore green jeans that were ripped by the side of his legs, that was being held up by a belt and black shoes 

"Hey! Get of me! L...Let's go!" Bronk said as he struggle to break out of the choke-hold

"What're you little pipsqueaks doin' here? Don't you know this is our territory?" He asked with a gruff tone in his voice 

"Hey! Let Bronk go!" Yuma demanded as he charge towards the guy who held Bronk, but he was too late as another guy grab hold of  him upside down by the leg. This guy had a buzz-cut dark brown hair with two red strips dyed in on either side of his head, brown eyes, with a large scar over one of his eyes. He wore a simple beaded necklace with a single earring on his left ear. He wore a white shirt trimmed with red on the v-collar, wolled-up sleeves with a grey belt around his waist, white pants, black biker gloves, and white shoes

"Yuma!" Tori call out to him. One of these days, Sakura  is going to kill Yuma

"Let me go! You're gonna be sorry!" Yuma said as he also tried to break free from the guy iron grip

"I wouldn't bet on that" He sneer as five more men emerge from the shadow, surrounding Tori and Sakura 

"Well what do we have here? If you're looking for trouble, it found. Hehe" One of the five men commented as both girls look over at Bronk and Yuma, worried 

"Hey! Just leave us alone or else you're gonna deal with me when I get down!" Yuma threatened them, struggling against his captor just as Astral begin to float upside down, next to Yuma with his arms cross 

"That strategy is not sound, these thugs do not look like they will be putting anyone down anytime soon" Astral said 

"Stay outta this Astral!" Yuma warn him

"Hey, Scorch. What’s the next move?" The thug who held Yuma upside down by his ankle ask the guy who held Bronk 

"Teach him a lesson" Scorch answered

"Stop!" A familiar voice call out as everyone in yhe room turn around to see the man himself, standing there, wearing a  dark purple jacket with green gems on the gray sleeve cuffs over a maroon shirt, dark blue pants, and white shoes adorned with the same green gems. Shark glance over all of them with a stern glare 

"Let go of the little brats." He demanded 

"Shark...." Yuma said 

"Reginald" Sakura mutter underneath her breath as he walk down the foot of the stairs, this was before Scorch asks, "What? You know 'em or somethin'?"

"Sure do." He admitted 

"Guess it's your lucky day," The guy who held Yuma said, before dropping him on his head as Scorch let go of Bronk. Once, he, Scorch and the others leave the abandoned arcade, Tori make her way over to Yuma, while Sakura check on Bronk as Shark make his way over to the group 

"Huh?"

"You shouldn't have come here." Shark say, before he turn around as he was starting to leave to catch up with the others, this was before Yuma got up onto his feet 

"I came here, cuz I have unfinished business with you, Shark" He said, making Shark halt in his path 

"What business?"

"The business of dueling, that's what"

"Huh?" Shark eyes widen a bit from Yuma answer, before he settle into a sneered smirk, before he let out a small chuckle, before he responded, "I can't duel you"

"Huh? How come?" Yuma asked 

"Because I quit dueling" Shark announce 

"Huh?" His comment shock everyone, including Astral

"I've moved on, Yuma, and now, I'm moving on from you." Shark say, before leaving the arcade as the door close behind him 

After: 

After an eventful day, the quartet that consist of Tori, Sakura, Bronk and Yuma, along with Astral and Kurimyth was seen walking home as the sun set over Heartland City. The group came to a stop at the river, looking over at water 

"What'd they said about Shark's? That they can't change their stripes" Bronk said 

"No, Bronk. That Zebras" Tori said as she corrected him

"Whatever. Point is, seem like Shark sure changed his. So Yuma, what's your take on all of this?" Bronk asked him, but Yuma remain silence through the conversation

"After observing you, I think I know what you are going to say" Astral said, "goodbye to that bullying pest. Am I correct, Yuma?"

"Maybe? I don't know? But then, maybe not?" Yuma answer as Sakura frowned. He took the news about Shark quitting hard

"What are you exactly talking about Yuma?" Bronk asked 

"It's always a shame when a duelist quit"

"Yeah, I guess you're kinda right about that" Bronk replied to him 

"You suppose to duel for life...not just give it up" Yuma said, unaware that Astral was listening to every single word that he say

The next day:

Tori was at her desk, unpacking her stuff from her bag, ready to start learning, only to look up as she saw Bronk heading in her direction as Caswell walk over 

"Hey Tori. Where Yuma?" Bronk asked her since he haven't seen the black and pink hair boy since yesterday 

"I don't know? He isn't here though, neither is Sakura" Tori told him as she haven't seen the pair since yesterday

"I was afraid of this"

At the Arcade:

"Whadda you want?" Shark asked as both Sakura and Yuma show up at the old desolate and deserted arcade from yesterday, confronting Shark yet again

"You know what I want? A duel. Question is, why don't you want one?" Yuma asked, "What happened to you?"

"You wouldn't understand"

"Yeah, I would! I get frustrating with dueling all the time....trust me" at this point, Yuma glare angrily over his shoulder towards Astral, who was silently listening to the conversation with both of his arms crossed

"Erm...Yuma" Sakura began to say, before she trail off 

"Come on Shark, let's just duel"

"For the last time, Yuma. I have quit!" Shark reiterates that he's given up Dueling, before he run off

"Shark, wait!" Yuma said as he run after Shark, who had a head start 

"Yuma!" Sakura called out to him, "Oh, you've gotta be kidding me," she mumble underneath her breath, before rushing off after Yuma, hoping that he doesn't do anything stupid 

During the chase down the alleyway, a large,tall metal wire fence appear in the way, blocking the way towards the other side. Shark leap side-to-side as he manage to vault himself over the blockade, Yuma look panic for a moment, before he look determine to conquer the obstacle before him 

"Okay! Time to high five the sky!....gaaaah!" Yuma went face first into the fence as he tried to leap over it to get to the other side of it. Astral, however, have less trouble, reaching the other side as he look over at Yuma. Sakura catch up to him, as she shake her head at him 

The next leg of the chase,would see it take place in a small park located somewhere in Heartland City, as Shark, without showing any signs of slowing down, successfully hop across the different floating step stone that lay still on the surface of the pond as he manage to get to the other side, while Yuma began to leap from one stone to another 

"You can’t lose me!" Yuma declare as he make an impressive leap into the air, but his momentum fail as he haven't reach the next stone.

"Aaaaaaagh!" Yuma yelled as he fall into the water below, as Astral hover above him, watching the scene before him. 

"I finally lost him..." Shark said as he finally stop running, pausing to catch his breath as he was tired of being chase around Heartland City with Yuma and Sakura on his tail. He finally believe that the pair had gave up the chase

"Shark!"

"Huh?" Shark turned around to see Yuma standing there, with his hands braced his knees as he struggle to regain his breath. Meanwhile,  Sakura standing behind him, with one hand on her waist as she raise her other hand to go through her hair,

"You're not losing anything, expect for this duel, we're about to have" Yuma declare as he glare down at the purple hair boy infront of him. "What do you say?" He asked 

 Shark place both of his hands into his pockets as he turn around to walk away from Yuma. His action irritated Yuma

"Oh, come on! I thought we're friend!" Yuma shouted at him. This got Shark attention and he didn't like this at all

"Rrrgh....we're not friends! You got that?! Why would you think that anyway!?"

"Why would I think we're friends, because we duel" Yuma said 

"Huh?"

"And as your friend, I'm gonna be the one to tell ya, that it's time to dump those thugs you're hanging around with"

"It none of your business who I hang out with, Yuma" Shark say, as he didn't like Yuma insert himself into his own business

"Oh yeah! I'll make it my business! I beat you and you ditch them!"

"Yeah? And what do I get if I beat you?" Shark asked, hoping to see what Yuma would bet in return

"Well then, you.....y..you get to have this" Yuma answered as he held his key up for Shark to see. Sakura let out a gasp at Yuma offer. He wasn't serious trying to gamble Astral to Shark

"No Yuma! Wait!" Astral said as he tried to object Yuma idea 

"Yuma, I think this is a bad idea"  Sakura said as she try to warn him, meanwhile her pendant glow as Anubis materialize infront of her, holding a bowl of popcorn, before disappearing back inside the pendant, not wanting to be involved in the drama between Yuma and Shark 

"Both of you keep quiet" Yuma told the pair of them 

"Huh? Okay, you got yourself a deal." Shark said as he accept Yuma challenge to duel him. "And once this is all over, I'm gonna get that necklace of your"

"Yuma, are you sure about this?" Astral asked 

"I told you Astral, I don't want your help during this duel and that goes for all of those Numbers Cards as well" Yuma added 

"What do you mean?" Astral said confused 

"I mean it's time that I prove that it's the Duelist that make the card, not the other ways around" Yuma remark as the trio that consist of Tori, Bronk and Caswell ran over next to Sakura as she watch on 

"Oh....Yuma" Tori said worried 

"Beside...it's not fair to use Numbers Cards against Shark, he doesn't have any" Yuma said as he comment on the disadvantage that Shark have as Yuma only want a fair and equal duel, with no uses of any Numbers Cards ( including Utopia) as Astral look at him 

"And hey, now I've got a noble cause that I'm dueling for. Shark shouldn't be hanging around with those jerks and soon, he won't be"

"Alright then, consider me a spectator" Astral said as he float backward 

"I haven't forgot our last duel, Yuma" Shark thought to himself as he recall the last duel that he and Yuma duel for. The prize for the winner was Bronk and Yuma deck 

"If I'm gonna to come out of retirement, I can't think of a better reason than to do it to defeat you" a smirk appear on his face, deep in his heart, he's been waiting for this.

Both duelists activate their respective duel gazer and duel disk, ready to duel. The trio that consist of Tori, Bronk and Caswell Duel activate their own duel gazer as Sakura black Duel Visor Tattoo appear on her left eye.

"Computer Augmented reality vision link established" A computer voice speak. 

"Let's duel!" Both Yuma and Shark said in unison. Ready for the duel of their life 

Yuma: 4000 / Shark: 4000

"All right! I'm feelin the flow!" Yuma exclaimed as he went first, as he draw a card from his deck. "I summon Gogogo Golem!" He exclaimed Golem  emerges from the ground 

Gogogo Golem ATK: 1800 / DEF: 1500 / Level 4

"Be careful Yuma, Shark have a trove of powerful beasts that Golem is tough but....." Astral began to explain, but he was cut off by Yuma 

"Zip it, Astral! Next, I place one card face-down" He exclaimed as he place the card on the field as it materialize infront of him. "And since I can't attack on the first move of the game, I end my turn"

"The card that I place facedown is Battle Break. Now if Shark attacks, my trap will destroy his attacking monsters and end the battle. That'll show everyone my dueling skills" Yuma said as he thought to himself 

"My turn! I draw!" Shark said as he draw a card from his deck, "I summon Friller Shark!" He exclaimed as a yellowish orange - brown shark appear on the field 

Friller Shark ATK: 700 / DEF: 1500 / Level 3

"But it only have 700 attackpoints, what could Shark be planning?" Astral question as he wonder what sort of strategy that Shark is using to win the duel

"Now, I summon Shark Stickers!" Shark said as a water whirlwind appear on the field, before revealing a purple shark, with a yellow underbelly, with green eyes

Shark Stickers ATK: 200 / DEF: 1000 / Level 3

"You see, Yuma, when Friller Shark is on the field, Shark Stickers can be summoned right from my hand."

"And I think I know what's coming next..." Astral said as he finally know what Shark is planning to do next 

"Uh oh....." Yuma said as he finally realise what is going on next

"Now I overlay Level 3 Friller Shark with Shark Stickers!" Shark shouted as both Friller Shark and Shark Stickers turn into two bolts of blue light as they both arc upward, dancing around each other. A galactic spiral, shining red vortex, appear onto the field. 

"With these two monsters, I built the Overlay Network and XYZ summon!" The two bolts swirl into the galaxy vortex. "Now! Said hello to Aero Shark!" As the two head twin shark appear on the field. It was the same monster that Shark use to defeat Bronk in a duel 

Submersible Carrier Aero Shark ATK: 1900 / DEF: 1000 / Rank 3

"1900 attackpoints? That's 100 more than my Golem. Still not more my trap card can handle" Yuma said. Despite Aero Shark having 100 more ATK than Gogogo Golem, Yuma is confident his trap card will protect him from Shark upcoming attack 

"Now, I play Aero Shark ability, by using up one overlay units, you take 400 points of damage for every cards in my hand!" Shark exclaimed  as he discarded Friller Shark to his graveyard, activating Aero Shark ability as it absorb one of it overlay unit.

"And since I have four card in my hand, that added to 1600 points of damage, Yuma" Shark say 

"Oh no!" Yuma said 

Submersible Carrier Aero Shark fires four torpedoes at Yuma. He use his arms to block damage from the impact, but Yuma lifepoints decrease rapidly as his friends look on with worried and scared faces 

Yuma: 2400 / Shark: 4000 

"Next, I activate the Spell, Mystical Space Typhoon from my hand! Thanks to typhoon, I can blow off one spell or trap card!" Shark explain as a typhoon encase Yuma trap card, as a single lighting bolt struck his card, as it explode on contact 

"Oh no! Not my trap card...." Yuma said sadly

"Now Go, Aero Shark! Attack Gogogo Golem with Devouring Dive!" Shark commanded as Aero Shark deliver the blow on Golem, destroying it as Yuma  sent backwards to the ground, due to the impact of the attack, as he only take hundred point of damage to his lifepoints 

Yuma: 2300 / Shark: 4000

"I place one card face-down and end my move" Shark declare as a card materialize infront of him 

"Unbelievable! Yuma is down to 2300 lifepoints after one turn" Caswell explain 

"Shark duel well for a retiree" Bronk comment on his dueling skills 

"No joke" Tori replied 

"C'mon, Yuma." Sakura said

"Well Yuma, I hope you're happy with yourself" Shark said as Yuma as he struggle to get back on his feet, "you wanted to duel with me and you got one, and all the hurts that come with it"

"Get real!I'm not hurt at all!" Yuma yelled out as he manage to get back onto his feet, ready to duel 

"My draw! Time to make a move,now!" Yuma said as he draw a card as he then glance at the card the drew from his deck. The card was the spell card, Monster Reborn. "All right! I summon Gagaga Magician!" As the masked sorcerer appear on the field 

Gagaga Magician ATK: 1500 / DEF: 1000 / Level 4

"And the magic of Gagaga is, once per turn, it can changes it levels to a number between 1 to 8." Yuma explain Gagaga Magician effect, before he look down to examines his hand, which contains Stinging Swordsman, Monster Reborn, Attraffic Control and Zubaba Knight. 

"C'mon, play that Number" Shark taunt Yuma, "I want you to" the purple hair boy dared him

"Huh?" At this point, Yuma was confused 

"Have Shark lost his mind?!" Caswell asked 

"Yeah! Only a Number can destroy a Number and Shark doesn't have one. Why would he want Yuma to play it?" Bronk said as everyone was confused with Shark 

"Unless he want Yuma to play it?" Sakura said, underneath her breath as she narrow her eyes at Shark 

"Well, we're waiting Yuma? You know playing it is the only way to defeat me" Shark taunt Yuma even further. "Maybe your Number not good enough, maybe the only reason I agreed to duel you was to prove I could it down" 

"Yuma, if the Duelist really make the card...." Astral said as he brought Yuma out of his thought 

""Yeah"

"Then it should not matter that the card in question happens to be weak or to be strong" Astral explain, "and besides all of that what you have really set out to accomplish here is not to help out with your ego as a duelist.....but to help your friend Shark!"

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot, I gotta get him to lose his loser friend of his" Yuma said as he realise the reason that he is dueling Shark in the first place. "And to make that happen, I'll do whatever it take"

 "I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn! And now, bring Gogogo Golem from my graveyard!" Yuma exclaimed as a purple portal appear on the field, as Gogogo Golem emerge from the abyss, ready to fight 

Gogogo Golem ATK: 1800 / DEF: 1500 / Level 4

"Next, I overlay Level 4 Gagaga Magician with Level 4 Golem!" Yuma yelled as both Magician and Golem both turn into two bolts of purple and orange light as they both arc upward, dancing around each other.     A galactic spiral, shining purple vortex, appear onto the field. 

"Alright, with these two monsters, the Overlay Network had been built and that mean I can  XYZ summon!" Yuma said as the two bolts swirl into the galaxy vortex. "Appear Number 39: Utopia!" As Utopia's bladed white wings extend, his armor unfolds, and Utopia once again towers over the field, in front of Yuma

However, with Yuma summoning Utopia onto the field to face Shark, the quartet that consist of Tori, Sakura, Bronk and Caswell are surprised and shock that he would break his promise.

"Did he just......"

"Yuma just play a Number Card?" Tori asked 

"Yeah, what gives? I thought he was done with those digits?" Bronk said 

"It’s like I said, Yuma need Number Cards to win. I knew I was right" Caswell said proudly 

"Caswell?"

"Yes, Sakura?......Ouch!" Caswell yelp out in pain as Sakura use one of her hand to slap the back of his head as Bronk and Tori was both frozen in fear at her action 

"Yes, Yuma. Do it....Attack me!" Shark said as a evil grin appear on his face as his duel gazer glint in the sunset. "Attack me with your Number Monster!"

"All right! Go Utopia, take out Aero Shark!" Yuma commanded as Utopia fling both of his swords, ready to deliver the finishing strike to Aero Shark, but Shark have a trick up his sleeve  

"I'm not afraid! I play Friller Shark special ability! By banishing the Friller Shark from my graveyard from play, your Utopia attack stop and it's losing 500 attackpoints!" Shark exclaimed as he banish Friller Shark, in order to negate Utopia upcoming attack, while decreasing Utopia attackpoints by 500

"No!" Yuma yelled out in shock, that his attack have stop 

"Next, I play Fish Rain!" Shark said as he activate his face-down card from earlier on in the duel. "Thanks to this trap card, when a fish-type monster is banish from play, I can summon a Level 3 or below fish monster from my hand and this one has some fight" Shark exclaimed as Yuma look on worried  

"Come out, Big Jaws!" Shark call out as a Dark blue giagantic shark, with a light blue underbelly, a mixer of large and small teeth, with red glowing eyes and a large blade on it back, appear on Shark field as it let out a roar 

Big Jaws ATK: 1800 / DEF: 300 / Level 3

"Not good....now I'm in an bigger fix than before..." Yuma said, shocked that his attack on Shark have failed 

"Yes. You are, Yuma. I'm afraid this would happen" Astral said, as he realise Yuma mistake, since he was too eager to win

"Huh?"

"What you failed to recognise is that Monster Reborn can also bring back a monster from another player's graveyard. You could have brought back Friller Shark and used Gagaga Magician's Level changing ability and then XYZ Leviathan Dragon and then you could used Leviathan Dragon to destroy Aero Shark" Astral remind him 

"Ah, oh well. I'll get him next time" Yuma said, determined to defeat Shark once and for all. "After all, Utopia have 2000 attackpoints. Shark doesn't have a monster on his field, stronger than that. All right, Shark! Make your move!" Yuma said as he end his turn 

"Never mind about me!" Shark said as he draw a card from his deck, "it Aero Shark and it's ability that you should be worried about, because just like before by using one overlay units, you take 400 points of damage for every cards in my hand" Shark exclaimed as Aero Shark used it last remaining overlay unit to activate it effect 

"Not again" Sakura mutter underneath her breath as she narrow her eyes at Aero Shark 

"I have two, that's a walloping worth 800" Yuma once again, use his arms to block damage from the impact of Aero Shark attack as two more torpedoes fire at him, but his lifepoints decrease

Yuma: 1500 / Shark: 4000

"Next, I summon Skull Kraken!" Shark said as the same metallic, bony, plated skull with tentacles crashes through the ground and rises to the field, it was the same kraken that Shark have use in duel against Yuma 

Skull Kraken ATK: 600/ DEF: 1600 / Level 3

"Two level 3 monsters......." Yuma said as he isn’t happy at all with the sight before him. 

"It is all right" Astral said as he try to comfort the panic-stricken boy. "He still doesn't have a card that can destroy a Number, like Utopia"

"I now overlay Skull Kraken and Big Jaws and because I have....I can XYZ summon!" Shark shouted, as both Skull Kraken and Big Jaws turn into two bolts of dark and light blue as they both arc upward, dancing around each other. As the same galactic spiral, shining red vortex, appear onto the field. 

"Welcome to the duel, the mighty Black Ray Lancers!" Shark shouted out loud as the two bolts swirl into the galaxy vortex, welcome forth Shark new monster to the duel

Black Ray Lancer ATK: 2100 / DEF: 600 / Rank 3

Yuma shudder as he saw Shark new monster appear on the field. Black Ray Lancer was a Beast-warrior type XYZ monster with black metal armor with pink highlights. It has large spike white sail wings on each side of it back, with the same for it legs. It held it red metal spear towards him as Astral narrow his eyes at the new monster 

"And now for the best part. I activate Lancer ability! By using one overlay unit, your Utopia ability is negated this turn!" Shark explain as Black Ray Lancer absorb one of its overlay unit through its spear as it fling it around in a circle, ready to deliver the blow 

"What!" Yuma couldn't believe his eyes at what he was seeing as Black Ray Lancer blasts Utopia effects away by using the winds from its wings

"Nooooooooooooo......!"

"Oh, that’s right, Yuma. The ability where a Number can destroy another Number is gone" Shark said as a malicious grin appear on his face. "So your Utopia, can be taken down like any other card" Shark explain 

"He's right. Which means my Number about to seriously crunched " Yuma said as he realise that he was in trouble 

"Now go,  Black Ray Lancer! Attack with Shimmering Spear Slash!"  Shark commanded as Black Ray Lancer went for a attack as it launched its spear towards Utopia, finally destroy it by skewering it through the chest of Yuma beloved ace monster 

"Utopia!" Yuma drops to his knees as he scream out his monster name as he take only hundred point of damage, due to the Black Ray Lancer attack on Utopia

Yuma: 1400 / Shark: 4000

"I can't believe it gone...." 

"I can't believe Shark knows the Number weakness" Astral remark 

"Aero Shark! Attack Yuma! Devouring Dive!" Shark commanded as Aero Shark swoops down on Yuma for the last time, knocking Yuma down to the floor as he skids back several feet, knocking some of his cards off his duel disk

Yuma: 0 / Shark: 4000 

Winner: Shark 

Shark has won the rematch duel between him and Yuma 

"So even with a Number....Yuma lose" Caswell said as Bronk close his eyes as he turn to look away 

"He got trounced, poor guys" Tori said 

"Not just trounced, completely annihilated" Yuma said as he look towards Shark as he take off his duel gazer, sadden by the lost 

"I suppose I now can tell ya" Shark say as he took off his own duel gazer. " The reason I stop dueling Yuma, because I was crushed when you defeat me" Shark began to explain as he made his way over to Yuma, in order to collect his prize. "But I feel all better now"

He kneel down in front of Yuma, before he tears The Emperor's Key from around his neck. "And this here is the Cherry on top" before he let out a laugh as he stood up to walk away from the defeated Yuma, not before he stop in his path 

"Then keep it, as a reminder of what I did to you" He said as he tosses it to the ground behind him. Shark began to walk to his motorcycle, ready to get away from the aftermath of the duel 

"Shark....no! Don't go!" Yuma pleased Shark not to go

"Yuma....you and I are finished. Don't come bothering me again. You may think those friends of mine are thugs, but they all that I have, and that just fine by me!" He declare 

"Shark...."

"Reginald....Wait!" Sakura called out to him 

"Shark" Tori mutters his name as Shark got in his motorcycle, before placing his helmet over his head and his googles over his eyes, before driving away from the scene as Astral watch on

"I failed Astral. I failed" Yuma said as he believe that he have fail Shark. Sakura made her way over to the sad, heartbroken boy as she dropped down on her knees as she pull Yuma into a hug, trying to comfort him

"I failed him, Kura. Shark is with those thugs and there is nothing I can't do to help him" Yuma said sadly 

"Don't worry, Yuma. Shark is going through a rough patch. We're not going to give up on Shark that easily. We'll find a way to get Shark back into his old dueling self again" Sakura said as both she and Yuma brake away from the hug as he let out a small smile 

"You got it" Yuma said as Sakura help him get back onto his feet as bothTori and Bronk let out a small smile at them 

"What’s wrong with them?" Caswell asked 

"Oh....you see, Yuma is like a younger brother to Sakura" Tori explain to him 

"Oh, I see. Not only does he lack the skills for dueling, but what this history between Sakura and Shark?" Caswell said as he observe the tension between the two at school 

"Oh, it something to do with Shark and the guy that Sakura dated. But she won't tell us who he is?" Bronk replied, as Caswell nodded his head at Bronk answer, not before Sakura called out to them

"Hey, guys! We are going to get ice-cream if you want to come" Sakura said as the trio that consist of Tori, Bronk and Caswell nodded their heads, before joining Sakura and Yuma towards the ice-cream parlour and then home
