Personality: Sakura is very kind-hearted, strong-willed, supportive,wise, compassionate, spiritual, intelligent, sweet, brave and heroic. She has a strong desire to not hurt anyone, thus she even shows mercy against enemies who are at a disadvantage. Astral state that Sakura is kind, protective and loyal to her friends. Tori state that Sakura has shown to be quite intelligent and calculating in her duels, something that she inherit from her parents. 

Sakura has no problem with losing. In fact, she is willing to lose if it means helping her opponent. She is also willing to sacrifice herself if it means saving someone else, to which it doesn't go well with the other

Background:

Sakura Hoshi Takahashi is the adoptive daughter of Dr.Kenji Takahashi and his wife, Harumi. She was left on the doorstep of the couple house with only a pendant, a stuff dragon teddybear and a letter. The couple fall in love with her and decided to raise her up as their own daughter.

Sakura have the ability to communicate with spirits, as she remember talking to a Kurioboh when she was 12 about having pineapple on a pizza. Her spirit partner is her Mystical armor Lion. She can see the spirits of the rest of her Deck, Sakura can also speak to the spirits in other Duelists' decks, whether or not that Duelist can see or speak to spirits or not. Mystical Spirit Universe Dragon has often shown concern for her in her Duels. Sakura even asked if it was okay in one of the duels, it nodded, showing that the two can understand each other
