40."Alexander King."

Nina happily welcomed Alex into her living room before making a run for the kitchen and returned with almond cake and lemonade to go with it. Nina cut up the slices of cake for everyone and sat down with her own.

"So, Alex what was your GPA in the previous grade?"

"That-" Alex glanced at Myra who shook her head pleadingly and Robert raised a brow smugly at the gesture.

"It is fine even if you were last in the class. We don't look down on the one with poor IQ." Even if he said that- his eyes said he'd throw him out.

"GPA 4.0."

Nina's fork paused near her lips and looked up at her daughter. Is he really your boyfriend? Have you seen your maths? You barely passed on shreds.

Myra swallowed the judgement thrown her way with the cake.

"What are your hobbies?"

"I play soccer, tennis and basketball- but I like soccer the most."

"Ah-you are the dabbler." Robert exclaimed hatefully. "All they do is fake hobbies without any proper achievement."

Alex smiled without any taking any offense.

"Although I would not call it a proper achievement- but I play for the school's soccer team."

Nina once again glanced at her daughter. Are you sure he really is your boyfriend? Yours- the one who cannot run for your life-yours?

Myra swallowed her tears with cool lemonade she brought with cake.

"What role do you play in the team?"

Robert asked hastily and Alex smiled.

"I play the attacker."

"What did you say your name was?" Nina asked hesitantly and Alex paused-he didn't quite understand the weight of the question.

"Alexander King."

Her parents froze.
