Alex stopped the car in front of her house right before her curfew and walked her to the porch of her house.

Now what?

She bit her lower lip as she looked at him.

"I-"

"I-"

They said in perfect harmony and paused.

"You first."

"I-I had a very good time. Thank you." She smiled softly as she hugged the soft toy to her chest.

His blue eyes softened a shade.
"Me too."

"I'll see you at school then."

"No, I'll pick you up."

She blushed.

"But I go with Bea and-"

"Myra." Alex held her hand tightly. "Please?"

She nodded shyly.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, darling."

"Umh. Bye."

"Bye."

She didn't pull back her hand.

He didn't let go.

They both stared at each other in silence.

This was their first date.

The MCs didn't kiss on the porch of her house like in the dramas.

The hero didn't sweep the heroine off her feet like in the movies.

But their hearts were full by exultation and gaiety.
