"Alright then see you tonight" Sarah spoke and disconnected the call. Right now I couldn't be happier knowing that she finally agreed to go for dinner with me.

I almost thought she would never agree to meet me again after whatever happened in the morning. But I guess there is some hope.

I was smiling like an idiot ever since I got her call. I haven't ever experienced something like this before.

Although I have been in a casual relationship with plenty of women even after these years when it comes to a serious relationship, Sarah's face always appears in my mind.

I still don't know why I feel so attracted to her, it's not like she is the only prettiest woman I have ever come across but there is something different about her than other girls that makes her more special, making me more curious to know about her.

I have already got most of the information about Sarah's life which included her basic details, I even got to know how his husband was cheating on her. Even after all these things that man still had the audacity to order her to come back and live with him.

That asshole husband of hers, literally had one of the amazing women by his side but he choose to ruin it himself. I wished it was me who got the opportunity to be in Sarah's life.
I mean who won't want to be with her?

I snapped out of my thoughts and got back to doing my work again but my mind was busy counting every minute, waiting for the time to pass quickly so that I could go and pick up Sarah

I just hope tonight I don't do anything to piss her off again.

As the clock struck 7, I closed my laptop and informed my assistant about my departure. I walked to the elevator and got down to my car.

It felt as if I was going on my first date with my long-time crush.
Well, indeed Sarah is my long-time crush.

After half an hour I reached Amario Enterprises. I took out my phone and texted Sarah, informing her about my arrival.

After 10 minutes I saw Sarah walking out of the building. Even after working so late in the evening she still looked gorgeous. Her eyes roamed around the parking and soon she spotted me.

I stared at her stunning figure as she walked gracefully in my direction. She was still in her office attire while her beautiful hair was tied into a ponytail. Even without any extra effort, she looked ravishing.

"Hey, Beautiful! " I greeted her, smiling widely.

"Hello, Mr, Dante" she replied coldly while addressing me again with my surname. 

My smile instantly dropped seeing her behavior.
I guess she is still angry with what I did earlier.

Ignoring her behavior, I smiled again as I opened the car's door for her, and motioned her to get in.

Without a word, she got inside the car, I jogged back to the other side and sat on the driver's seat. 

I started driving the car towards our destination, from the corner of my eyes I glanced at Sarah who was now looking outside.

"Where are we going for dinner?" She suddenly asked making me turn in her direction

I was about to tell her the restaurant name when she spoke again

"I hope we are not going to any fancy place for dinner."

"Don't worry it's not a fancy restaurant," I replied back.

I instantly dropped my plans to take her to the fancy restaurant where I had my bookings.

After 5 minutes I pulled into the nearest McDonald's drive-thru.
I glanced at Sarah, whose face got lit up once she saw where I was heading

"What will you have?" I asked while we waited in the queue.

"A classic cheeseburger with some fries" she answered instantly maintaining her neutral expression again."

I nodded and proceeded to order our burgers and fries. As soon as we got the order I paid them and started driving again on the road.

From the corner, I could see Sarah already started eating the fries like a kid.  I smiled seeing her like this.

"Aren't you gonna eat now?" she asked.

"I will let me just park the car"  I replied and parked my car under the Manhattan Bridge

I know this isn't how a perfect dinner should be but knowing how Sarah prefers being away from those fancy restaurants I decided to keep everything simple.

And right now this place seems to be perfect where we can talk without any disturbance.

I still remember Sarah's obsession during university where she used to visit small cosy cafes every day.
I guess she almost visited every cafe back in Boston.

I removed my seat belt and turned towards her. She was busy taking out the food from the bag while I was busy admiring her cute little face.

She took out the two burgers and offered me one. I grabbed the burger from her hand and started unwrapping it.

"Why are we here? You are not going to murder me right?" She asked suddenly while her eyes roamed the streets which were almost empty streets

"Haha!! No Sarah I won't murder you and also I am not a psychopath Serial killer, so just relax."

"I didn't say to you that you are a psychopath killer" She spoke while biting her plump lips.

"Yaa but your expression does tell me that" I chuckled

" I usually don't get close to any stranger, and on top of it when I got to know about you stalking me, I got more confused about your intentions."

"Sorry, if you feel offended but I had many other reasons to be suspicious when it comes to hanging out with a new person " She spoke while taking a bite of the burger.

"And those reasons are because of Adrian?" 

 I regretted my words as soon, as I saw her mood instantly got changed. 

"Aah... I am sorry I shouldn't ask you that Sarah, it's your personal matter anyways" 

"No, you shouldn't be sorry about it as you are partially correct, because somewhere Adrian is the reason behind my skeptical nature." She replied back giving me a weak smile. 

I don't know why but I feel she always seemed to be hiding her emotions behind those smiles. 
Her eyes always seem to be empty and lonely

"I don't know why you agreed to marry him but it's your, life Sarah, Do let a stupid person ruin it."

"I know that Alessandro and now I won't waste my time behind someone who doesn't respect me." She answered.

"Well, you are absolutely right! Seeing his behavior with you I already got to know that he is a basta..." I stopped in between, knowing I was crossing my line again.

"He is a selfish arrogant bitch!! Who is always on her period" She replied completing my sentence.

I stared at her for a second and we both burst out laughing loudly.

It was the first time I had seen her laughing so freely.

Damm!! she looks even more gorgeous right now

"At least we agree on something" I spoke suppressing my laughter.

We went on eating our food while talking about our experiences in university, we even discussed our plans regarding our companies.

During the whole time, I made sure that I did not bring anything up related to the stalking act that I did earlier that may spoil her mood.

I even tried my level best not to flirt with her as I knew she wouldn't like that and maybe push me away from her again.

I kept glancing at her beautiful hazel eyes while she kept speaking about her reviews on the latest architecture trends.

I was trying my best not to look at her full pink lips which were corrupting my thoughts.

I so badly want to taste those lips.

Before my thoughts overpowered me I went back to eating my fries while putting my views regarding the trends in the market in front of her.

Sarah P.O.V

Alessandro and I were currently seated in the car, we were eating our burgers and fries, and we soon started to chat. So far he wasn't like the way I supposed, I mean he isn't a creep, rather he was totally the opposite of that. 

Earlier I was a bit hesitant about going to dinner with him, I was sure that he just acting as a gentleman just to get into my pants. I even carried a pepper spray in my bag just in case if he tried to misbehave but I guess I was wrong about him all this while.

We kept discussing our views regarding new architecture and I must say he surely had really good knowledge of this field. We kept on talking about different topics which were mostly related to business.

We both didn't even realize when the time passed, It was almost 11 in the night when he drove me back to my place.

He parked the car in front of my house, I stepped out of the car and saw Alessandro doing the same

"Thanks for the dinner Alessandro, I really had a good time"

"Well, Thanks to you for coming to the dinner with me. I hope we can have more such dinner dates in the future" He replied while rubbing the back of his neck. 

"Maybe, we can" I replied and smiled at him.

"Alright then see you soon, Sarah" he spoke and gave me a side hug.

" Goodnight Alessandro," I replied and started walking towards the house.

I was about to unlock the door when I noticed the door was already open.

I clearly remember locking it well before leaving for work.

Taking slow steps I entered the house, grabbed a vase from the table, and moved forward in the living room. 

I could hear some sound coming from inside, I stormed into the room while lifting the vase to hit the intruder.

But to my shock, it wasn't any intruder inside my house rather it was Adrian Parker who was sitting on the couch with his arms crossed.

As usual, his face held an angry expression, while his grey eyes were dark as he stared at me.

Knowing his motive behind his visit I placed the vase on the desk, I faced him again

"Why are you here Parker? I already told you that I am not coming back to the mansion."

I stood there silently, waiting for him to speak but he stood up and started moving towards me.

With every step taken forward, I started walking backward until the wall hit my back.

"Sarah" he spoke lowly while placing his hands on my waist and pulling me closer to him.

" I never said I was here to take you back to the mansion. I am here so that we can live together here in this house from now."

"I can't let my beautiful wife live here all alone," He said while smirking at me

F*CK!!

I can't live with this demon again!
