22. Sleeping

*Third Person*

"Harry," Anne spoke quietly as she opened her door. Harry is still sleeping, his laptop open on the bed in front of him and LahDann playing with his lanyard that his car keys are on. I grinned of LahDann and Harry's cuteness. He's been sleeping all day and ever since he got home from the hospital when he took Niall there. Anne could feel and even see how much her son cared for Niall and she didn't know what to think of it, other than love. She hasn't watched Niall with him or Niall at all, but she knows that if Niall hung out with Harry enough, he might just fall in love too. Or at least like him. She prayed that Harry wouldn't get a broken heart, if Niall caused it or not. She didn't think Niall would do such a thing, even after one meeting.

"Harry," Anne cooed again and entered his room willingly. The sun brightened the room naturally, making it a white and warm colour. She sits down on the bed next to Harry, closes his laptop and scoots it aside. She uses her foot to scooch the lanyard over so she doesn't crush LahDann, and soothingly, she rubs her thumb over Harry's forehead to move strands out of his face.

"Harry, come on. Get up." Harry doesn't stir. "Harold," Finally, Harry scrunches his face up the tiniest bit and moves onto his back a little more. He stretches and looks up at his Mum, grinning a hello. "Hey." His raspy voice sighs. "You should get up. It's after afternoon and you haven't done anything." Harry relaxes again and slowly lifts his eyes to his mothers. "I'm just tired. We young people need more sleep than anyone else, you know." Anne rolls her eyes and sighs, leaning back on his multiple pillows. "You don't want to eat, go on a Mum and Son date, visit Niall," She sings the last part and Harry gives her a look that's attached to his infamous smirk. "Of course I want to go see Niall. But he needs time to relax and stuff."

"And stuff." Anne copies Harry and he gives her another look, but still chuckles. "Lets watch a movie. Lets just lay here, on your bed, and watch a movie on your laptop that's probably almost out of battery." Harry laughs, and drags his macbook over towards him. "I was watching The Fault In Our Stars before i fell asleep. Unrelatable."

"Mhm." Anne gets up to get food and a possible drink for the film she's never seen before. Harry has, though. Multiple times. So many times that he can quote the whole entire movie by heart. In fact, when Harry told his Muther this, she demanded that some time in the future, he speaks every single line of the movie with no mistakes. Harry pinky promised her.

During the middle of the movie, on the Metaphor scene, Harry got a text from Niall. Harry picked up his phone, with a glance from Anne, and he read the text with an emotionless facial expression.

From Niall: Thank you for taking me to the hospital when I told you not to. You could say you saved my life if you wanted to. :)

Harry smiled to himself, and looked at the second text Niall had just sent.

From Niall: And I'm almost to the end of Jack Finn. So far, I am eternally grateful that you suggested the book to me.

Harry smiled again, but didn't respond to either of the texts. He didn't know what to say and he felt that the conversation would just be awkward. So he left it alone and put his phone on vibrate before paying his full attention back to the film he knows by heart.

"Harry, do you think you can't see Niall again because of yesterday? Just, for some odd reason?" Harry looks at his Mum, and pauses the movie. Hazel Grace was in the middle of checking her phone at the table when he did. "What?" Is the only thing he says. "I mean -- well, I know that was Niall and you didn't text him back. Or call him. Or, anything. I thought you would die to talk to him." All Harry can do is shrug. "What is there to say? I saved his life." Harry couldn't help but to begin to smirk, and Anne gives him an odd look. Giggling, Harry says, "He told me I could say that." Anne smiles and shakes her head. "Ugh, stop. Play the movie." Harry giggles a little more and presses the spacebar to continue on, a little careless of the conversation his Muther tried to fire up.

"Mum?"

"Hm?"

"Can I go back to sleep now?"
