"Let all cats whose paws carry them swiftly through the water meet below Splash Rock for a clan meeting," Wolfstar called. All the cats gathered quickly, and soon, the clearing was filled with whispering. Wolfstar patiently waited for all the whispering to stop before he spoke.

"Riversideclan, I feel you don't trust my decision at this moment... but you must understand that their clan was bigger than ours and stronger. That was a battle we wouldn't have won -" Wolfstar then paused before continuing he sighed. " I understand we are short on prey, but that won't weaken us. We will stay strong. As of Fireclan  hunting by the gorge... we will have two warriors always by the gorge, keeping a watch to make sure Fireclan doesn't go any farther than the gorge."

The clan was quiet for a moment before Sharpclaw spoke up, "And what if they don't listen?"

"Then we will not hesitate to attack them," Wolfstar answered. "There is a gathering tonight. I will be bringing my deputy Sharpclaw and my warriors... Snowpelt and I will also bring Pebblepond. Of my apprentices, I will let Mothpaw, Badgerpaw, and Riverpaw."

The three apprentices happily jumped up, but then Badgerpaw calmed down and whispered to Jaypaw, "I'll tell you how it goes and what happens." Jaypaw nodded.

"Clan dismissed, well leave for the gathering soon," Wolfstar called. The cats slowly walked to their dens to get some rest. "Ghostfog and Echosong, you two will be watching the gorge. Once it starts to get darker, come back and send Ivywillow and Crowtalon in your places."

"Yes, Wolfstar," the two cats said at the same time. 

The time slowly passed, and then Ghostfog and Echosong got back, and Ivywillow and Crowtalon left right as the few cats were getting ready to leave. "Everycat ready to go?" Wolfstar asked. Quiet mews could be heard as the few cats said they were ready to go. "Then we'll be leaving."

The few cats left the clearing, leaving Echosong in charge.
