TEN

                  "SO IF ANY OF US SAY SOMETHING OUT OF SORTS TO YOU, YOU COULD BASICALLY MURDER US IN TWO SECONDS?"

Elizabeth folded her arms behind her back uncomfortably as she stood in front of the newest Eternal she had only just met, Phastos. The other Eternals stood around waiting for the girl's interrogation to be over. --"Sort of..."She trails off, --"But I'm not going to kill any of you so you don't have to worry."She reassures him with a smile. 

"So she was put onto this earth 5,000 years ago?"Phastos addresses Sersi who nods her head and shows Elizabeth an amused smile. --"Whose ancient now?"

Elizabeth rolled her eyes in response and stuffed her hands into her pockets. --"Can we go now?"She asked with a frown. Sersi chuckles and shakes her head for a moment, --"Hold on just a sec."

Sersi then reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a pair of black leather gloves, holding them out in front of Elizabeth who narrowed her eyes at them. --"Really?", Sersi only raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side challengingly.

"Don't want to kill one of us accidentally, right?", Elizabeth inhales in annoyance and snatches the pair of gloves from Sersi, --"Fine."She grumbles and pulls the gloves over the skin on her hands. 

"Now I just need white hair and ice powers,  "She mumbles to herself sarcastically. --"Oh lighten up, it could be worse-"Elizabeth lifted her head to glare at Kingo as he spoke. --"She could have bought you neon coloured gloves."He points out and she raises her eyebrows.

"Kingo I have gloves now, I can punch you."She points out half-jokingly. 

The gloves that Sersi had given Elizabeth were black and rose all the way up to her elbows, she felt utterly ridiculous. --"Have you spoken with Azula again?", Elizabeth snapped her head to Sersi in surprise.

"Thought you didn't believe me?", Sersi inhales sharply and glanced at Ikaris. --"I suppose it isn't the craziest thing I've heard in the past few days."She says simply, Elizabeth bit her top lip and shook her head. --"No I haven't. But she did say it's difficult to speak to me when I'm awake."She says simply, shrugging her shoulders.

Phastos glanced between Sersi and Elizabeth with a confused look on his face, --"Azula? Whose that?", Elizabeth opened her mouth to answer but Druig beat her to it. --"Elizabeth's power source."He replies and Elizabeth glances at him with a soft smile which he returned.

"Your power source has a name?", Elizabeth looked back to Phastos and raised an eyebrow, --"Isn't Arishem your power source?", Phastos thinks about it for a second before nodding. --"Okay so what can you do?", her eyebrows furrow at the question.

"Pardon?"

Phastos folds his arms over his chest. --"What. Can. You. Do?", she swallows and pouts her lips nervously. --"She can move things with her mind."The group turn their attention to Thena, --"I witnessed it."She said bluntly, her eyes burning into Elizabeth's figure.

Elizabeth shifted uncomfortably and nodded her head, --"Uh, yeah. I can do that but I don't know what else I can do. Azula didn't get the chance to explain it."She mumbles, Phastos hums and nods his head.

Swallowing, Elizabeth raised her eyebrows. --"Can we go now?"

The group were now in Iraq. Elizabeth walked alongside Kingo, her gloved hands in her pockets. Every time she had tried to take the gloves off she would receive a harsh glare from Sersi so she learned to live with the sweatiness of her palms. 

She watched as Druig possessed some archaeologists to move away from where they were,  the mindless bodies leave in trucks. Elizabeth couldn't imagine what it's like to have your mind controlled by Druig, she was sort of thankful that the Eternal's powers didn't work on her in a way, she didn't feel as helpless as when she first decided to follow Sersi, Sprite and Ikaris.

Her mind travelled to who she was a week and a half ago. A week and a half ago she was just a regular girl who sat around all day reading books and her only worries were eating and people. And now, a week and a half later she knows that Sersi is over 7,000 years old, she can apparently move things with her mind and she is over 5,000 years old. Oh, and she also has a nuisance called Azula living in her brain.

It's been a crazy week and a half.

Speaking of crazy. Elizabeth stood beside Karun about to ask the group why they had stopped walking. That was until the ground in front of them suddenly started to cave and up rose a large...something. Elizabeth wasn't entirely what it was until a voice spoke.

"Yeah that's the domo... dramatic, right?"

Elizabeth's eyebrows raised at the sound of Azula's voice and snapped her head to the side only to see nothing. She wasn't there. She makes a face to herself, only turning her head to Karun when hearing him speak in disbelief.

"The domo."

She inhales sharply and drops her shoulders, turning her head to look at the rising domo. As the domo continued to rise she could hear Karun release a shaky and excited sigh. --"Wow."

Glancing at him, she nods her head. --"Yeah. Wow."She murmured, a little perplexed that she had just heard Azula's voice. Azula had told Elizabeth that it was difficult to visit her whilst she was awake, had she just imagined hearing the redhead's voice? Was she really going crazy?

Moments later and the group where inside the domo. Elizabeth kept to the back of the group, playing with the hem of her jumper nervously. She started to wonder if she could summon Azula, the redhead could clearly just summon Elizabeth whilst she's asleep so why can't she just summon Azula?

Then again she has no idea how she would do that.

It's not like she was a genie or something, she couldn't just rub a lamp and her sassy power source would just show up. She openly sighed to herself, maybe being a genie would be much easier than being the 'Lapis Wican'. 

As the Lapis Wiccan, all she seemed to have done so far is fail to save Gilgamesh, burn her eternal friends with her skin and make Sersi think she was crazy for a while. Hell- Sersi had to buy her a pair of gloves so she wouldn't accidentally kill one of them.

She's a walking time bomb around the Eternals. What if she does accidentally kill one of them? She doesn't want that and by the sounds of things Azula can't stop it from happening, she's completely helpless to this power.

"Are you okay, Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth lifted her head, surprised to see Thena looking at her. Pursing her lips, she blinked in surprise before nodding at the blonde. --"Uh, yeah! I'm fine thanks Thena."She smiles softly and Thena nods her head before going back to walking alongside Phastos.

Sighing mentally, she pouted her lips and pushed her hands into her pockets yet again. --"You just lied.", Elizabeth lifted her head to Sersi who had slowed down so she was in step with her.

Shaking her head with a confused smile, Elizabeth chuckled nervously. --"What? No I didn't.", Sersi only had to raise an eyebrow and Elizabeth was looking away uncomfortably, scratching the back of her head. 

"Are you really okay?"

Elizabeth chewed the inside of her cheek for a moment and nodded with a hum. --"Yup, mhm, I'm fine."She reassured, Sersi sighed and folded her arms. --"Y'know I could always get Druig to possess you. Find out what's really wrong."She spoke loudly enough for Druig to hear the pair and glance over his shoulder with a confused look on his face.

Elizabeth chuckled cockily and shook her head. --"Nice try but the Eternal's powers don't work on me, remember?"She says confidently, Sersi only hummed sarcastically and nodded. --"Oh did I forget to say?"

A confused look passes Elizabeth's features. --"Our powers only don't work on you when we're using them in a life-threatening type of manner."She explained, Elizabeth only shook her head and lifted a finger. --"Druig tried to possess me very safely in the Amazon and it didn't work."She said matter of factly and Sersi clicked her tongue.

"Yeah well, you barely knew Druig then. Azula didn't know if he was planning on helping us stop the emergence. She probably wasn't taking any chances."She told Elizabeth, guess that solved one of Elizabeth's unanswered questions to Azula. The brunette furrowed her eyebrows and then the pair stopped walking altogether leaving the others to disappear further down the hall.

"Sersi I'm fine. You don't need to threaten to have Druig possess me."She said after a beat passes, Sersi opens her mouth to reply to her best friend only for Elizabeth to interrupt her. --"And if I am not fine then you should respect my privacy and that I don't want to talk about it."She said simply before walking past her, crossing her arms in the process.

She continued down the hall briskly until she had caught up with the rest of the group where she could hear Kingo talking to the camera. She walked closer so she was walking alongside Druig. --"A foreboding atmosphere fills the air."Kingo spoke dramatically. 

"An eerie stillness chocked our lungs."He continues. Elizabeth snickers to herself as Phastos spoke up. --"What are you doing? You know you're creeping us out. You know that, right?"He says to his fellow Eternal who just ignores him.

"Creeping us out or you?"Elizabeth spoke up teasingly and Phastos only shot her a small glare, --"Us."He specified leaving her to smile in amusement. She flinches to the side into Druig at the sound of a packet of something being burst open, Phastos letting out a yell of surprise also.

"Stay calm, T, please!" Phastos explained and looked down to where Thena had stepped, he lets out an amused chuckle and squats down to pick up the now open packet of chips. --"Chips..."He trails off, looking back at the camera Karun was carrying. --"It's just chips."He reassures and Kingo looks back at the camera.

Elizabeth released a sigh of relief and moved away from Druig's side who only chuckled. --"Did you really just flinch at that?", she shot him a look and pursed her lips, --"I'm a jumpy person, okay?"She snapped playfully only for him to smile back comfortingly.

"You don't need to be jumpy anymore. You're more powerful than all of us combined, I'm pretty sure you could handle anything."He tells her simply, Elizabeth blinked at him feeling her heart rate increase for a moment, she smiled up at him bashfully for a moment before covering it up by chewing the inside of her cheek.

"Thanks."

Her cheeks suddenly felt like they were on fire so to avoid embarrassment she decided to walk a little further ahead, feeling Druig's gaze burn into the back of her head. The group then find themselves walking into what looked like the main room in the Domo. --"What has she done?"Phastos questioned out loud in disbelief.

The room they walked into was absolutely covered in stuff, there were towers of books, multiple different paintings and lamps also littered the room. --"Is that... a sarcophagus in my lab?"Phastos questioned with an annoyed tone in his voice.

At the centre of the room sat a woman on what looked like a throne. --"This is Makkari. Or should I say, Miss Havisham?"Kingo spoke sarcastically to the camera, gesturing to the filled room. --"None of us have seen her for centuries."

Elizabeth looked at the woman and smiled awkwardly. Her smile quickly dropped however when seeing Makkari sign something, her heart dropped a little. Makkari is deaf. 

An awkward silence fills the Eternals and Elizabeth watches with a frown as Makkari drops her head back against the head of her throne in disappointment. Makkari then moved off of her throne to greet her family.

However, when she reached Elizabeth she tried to sign something and Elizabeth blinked in confusion and awkwardly chuckled, rubbing the back of her neck. --"I, uh, don't know any sign language."She murmured to the group.

Druig smirked and moved to stand beside her, Elizabeth watched in confusion as he signed something to Makkari who only scrunched her nose up and whacked him in the stomach in response earning a groan from him. A confused look passes Elizabeth and she looked to Kingo who had walked over to them, rolling his eyes.

"He told her you were here to steal everything she collected and then blow up the domo."He informs her, her eyes widen and she immediately whacks Druig in the stomach who had only just recovered from Makkari's blow. 

Druig only doubled over and chuckled deeply to himself. Elizabeth folded her arms over her chest, her eyes locking with his as he lifted his head to look at her. --"You pack a mean punch, Lockheart."He says simply and she smiles in reply and raised her eyebrows.
