I woke up after a horrible night’s sleep groaning. For a few seconds I forgot all of yesterday’s events, then it came back all too painfully.

The trailer was empty but I heard voices from outside. A buzzing on the vanity table got my attention and I looked over at my iPhone buzzing over and over again signaling a call.

I hoped for Bridgette, maybe DJ or Geoff, but Duncan’s name filled the screen.

“Goodbye” I said pressing the ignore button.

I couldn’t believe I did it. I couldn’t believe I had left him, I had called Bridgette last night crying over the phone for hours, she tried helping my convince myself it was a good idea.

After awhile it worked then we just completely trashed Duncan for a few hours, before we both decided to crash.

I groaned at my appearance in the mirror and tried to fix myself. Step two of this whole situation? Make Duncan know what he’s missing.

V-neck and yoga shorts? I think so.

I was pretty disappointed Justin was voted off, I could've done some serious rebounding.

Not for my pleasure though. Justin’s such a girl, but it’d make Duncan completely jealous, which would make it worth it.

But right now I have Harold to work with.

I don’t care how bad a fight with Duncan and I is, I would never try Harold, even if it was just to make Duncan jealous.

Duncan’s an idiot when it comes to relationships, but he has common sense, and he knows the only way I’d go for Harold is if I got some serious amnesia.

I opened the trailer door loudly and eyes were on me, then on Duncan who was sitting at the picnic table on his phone. He noticed the attention, I figured he’d be emotional, but he looked completely angry.

“We broke up. You all know it, so stop whispering to each other and staring at the both of us, it’s fucking irritating” He said getting up and walking off.

Well that was a shock. I sent a quick text to Bridgette.

          Duncan the Douche is preeeeeetty angry.

We started calling him that again, never thought it’d come in handy.

Everyone’s eyes were now on me “You heard him, we’re done, so, anything to say, say it now”

Everyone looked at each other and I walked to the craft service tent “What I thought”

My phone buzzed and I looked at Bridgette’s reply.

          LOL good, he’s a jerk, find someone to flirt with, that’ll piss him off even more.

I smirked typing back going inside the tent to see what Chef had up for us today. “Chef?”

A butcher knife flew past me ripping through the tent, I ducked though, but a little bit longer and I would’ve been Alex-Sushi.

“Jeez Chef!” I yelled looking inside, although Chef wasn’t there, it was a guy.

“Hey sorry about that. Chef told me to man the tent while he was gone” he said.

“So you throw butcher knives…?” I said.

He smirked “I was playing with it, and it slipped. Sorry did I get you?”

“Yeah you know, cut straight through my neck, but I’m fine” I said making the both of us laugh.

“Sorry I’m rude, I’m Billy” he said. He had blonde short hair, white tank top, green shorts and flip flops.

“I’m Alex” I said as we shook hands “Yeah I’ve seen you around here” Billy said.

“You new or something? Cause this show ain't all it’s cracked up to be if you’ve watched so far” I said entering the kitchen where Billy was, I was still hungry.

“Nah I’m an intern”

I looked at him “I’m so sorry…”

He laughed “Yeah, your right about it not being all it’s cracked up to be”

“Please at this point I wish I just stuck with a summer of juvie” I said taking out some raspberries.

“Right, you’re the jail-bird” Billy said as we sat at the island.

“Juvie-bird. Haven't done hard time yet but you know” I said making him laugh.

“Yeah you and Duncan right?” Billy said.

I groaned “Yeah not anymore”

“Really now, why’s that?” Billy asked.

“You know the whole Courtney thing?” I asked. “Ouch did he cheat again?” he asked.

“Well. Not kissing. But just flirting. Which isn’t okay in my book”

“I’m sorry, you don’t deserve that” Billy said.

“Thanks”

“Here,” Billy said holding out the raspberry he was about to eat “Have a raspberry.

I laughed “Oh thank you so much. At least you can brighten me up a bit”

“Yeah, I’ve been told I’m a sweetheart”

“Guess there's more to you intern’s than we all thought” I said.

“Oh yeah, we get together every Thursday, intern’s are a new race I heard” Billy said making me laugh again.

“Your funny”

“Thanks. Hey you wanna do something?” He asked. “As in?” I said.

“Well I am an intern, Chris may treat us like shit, but I do have the master key to just about everything on this set” Billy said taking a card out.

“There's stuff to do on this set?”

“Course, you guys just don’t see the fun stuff that Chris gets” Billy said.

“Huh, I say let’s go then” I said getting off the stool I was sitting on.

We walked out of the kitchen, then out of the tent, but while we were I bumped into someone.

“Sorry” We both said.

I looked up to see Duncan. Phewwwwww can someone say awkward?

At first he looked emotional, then angry. “Alex” He said. I tried hard not to smirk.

I went in the confessional /“Oh this is perfect. He’s faking the whole ‘Gaaah! I’m an angry Duncan!’ bit. Ha I knew he wouldn’t get over me in a day. Stupid jerk, haha I’m gonna have fun with this”/

“Duncan” I said in the same tone. I then looked at Billy “Hey let’s go Billy, I’ve been looking forward to hanging out”

Billy looked kinda confused “Ha, uh, sure, let’s go”

I took Billy’s hand bumping Duncan’s shoulder as we walked out of the tent and to wherever we were gonna spend the day.

“I have to admit, that was kinda fun” I said as we got out of the golf cart we were just riding.

“I told you didn’t I? Golfing, in a golf cart, just going full speed then just wacking that ball as hard as you can? Funnest time ever” Billy said.

So far our day consisted of talking about contestants, challenges, secrets about Chris; and lemme tell ya, Chris has a lot of secrets.

What else? We made sundaes, even to the beach they had here. Yeah a beach, a good beach too. Completely on the other side of the trailers and where we all stayed, but it was here.

“I had a really good day, I definitely needed this Billy” I said.

“Hey no problem” He said as we took a walk back to the trailers.

We were pretty mindlessly talking until we were in front of the trailers where my good day took a turn for the bad side.

Duncan was sitting on the picnic table with Courtney next to him. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. He saw me and looked satisfied that I was angry and whatever he was doing with Courtney amped it about ten times up.

“Court, I miss that princess get up. I mean, I know I always called you a princess, but as a real one? Jeez just so beautiful” he said grabbing her hand.

My jaw dropped. Beautiful? Ha! Fuck that, two can play at that game mister.

“Hey Billy?” I said hoping Duncan was listening.

“Hm?” “We should definitely go swimming, I’m beat from the day, and seeing a hot guy like you shirtless would make my day even better” I said with a smirk patting his stomach which was pretty toned.

Duncan was like that too… My mind played images of all the fun times with Duncan but I just shut them right up and took a glance at Duncan who was gripping the picnic table so hard I heard a snap.

That poor table… But plus for me! “Yeah that’d be fun” Billy smiled.

“Hey Courtney wanna go inside my trailer? I think Doris is getting food so we’ll have it, alone, for awhile” Duncan said getting off the table facing Courtney.

I bit my tongue. Be calm, be calm, be calm.

“Sure Duncy” Courtney gave me a cocky smile.

“You know, who needs to change? Just get rid of the shirt you know Billy! I wanna see how strong your muscles are” I said feeling his arm one.

Is it bad to think Duncan was stronger? UGH shut up head!

Billy smirked taking off his tank top “Maybe I could be stronger than you huh?”

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves” I said patting his chest.

I saw Duncan glare and slam the door to his trailer hard pulling Courtney in.

I am so winning…I think.

I decided to get changed into my bikini anyways and Billy and I went down to the dock for a swim.

“Think it’ll be cold?” I asked when we got there.

“One way to find out” Billy smirked picking me up. I laughed “Put me down jerk!”

“Haha nope!” He said as we got closer to the water.

When he threw me in it felt like slow motion, and I remembered when Duncan and I did this. When I hit the water, which was in fact cold,

I stayed under for a little just trying to live in my memory. I heard a splash from under the water and surfaced looking around, when a face popped up in front of me that wasn’t Duncan I screamed quickly, getting too lost in the memories.

“Oh god, I’m sorry” Billy said with a little laugh.

I held my head and sighed “I just…I’m sorry, no it’s okay”

“You okay?” He asked.

“I’m… I’m not fine. I’m not, hey I’m really sorry Billy. I just…I’m-”

“You miss Duncan” Billy said. I went to say something but Billy started talking again.

“I’m not dumb, of course you miss him. You were angry and made a dumb decision. He’s a stupid teenage guy, it’s hard to get them to settle down, but he’ll come around. I mean why do you think he was trying so hard to flirt with Courtney before? Cause he loves you. Just made a mistake”

“You’re like a therapist” I laughed. “I’m sorry, I feel like I kinda used you to be a bitch to Duncan. You really are a nice guy”

He smirked “First let’s get out of the water”

We got out and wrapped towels around our selves. “Now secondly, its fine. I figured I’d probably be a rebound this morning. But I get break ups, and you did deserve to have a better day. And plus, your good looking yourself and I thought it’d be fun to hang out”

“You really are such a great guy, thanks a lot” I said as we hugged.

“No problem. Now you want my advice? Go to Duncan now, and just apologize”

“Apologize?! But I didn’t do anything” I said.

“Okay, well maybe not apologize, but just, talk this out. You guys really are meant for each other” Billy said.

“Thanks” I said punching his shoulder lightly.

“And if you ever lose Duncan for real? Then we could probably hang out”

I laughed “Thanks for getting me back on my feet”

“Again, no problem, now let’s get you back to your boyfriend” Billy said.

We walked back to the trailers, before we got to them though Billy and I parted off, I think it’d be better if I went to Duncan without a boy-toy.

“Good luck Alex” Billy said with a smile giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I smirked “Thanks for everything Billy”

We parted ways and I went to the trailers. Okay, just, swallow your pride and forgiveness! I kept trying to tell myself this, but easier said than done.

When I got to the trailers though, my mind was once again changed, Courtney hugged Duncan then gave him a kiss. He responded this time though, and that sent me spiraling into my anger again.

“You two are such a fucking piece of work” I said angrily.

They both looked up at me, Courtney looked happy and cocky, but I finally saw something in Duncan I haven’t truly been seeing; hurt.

“You know what Duncan? I was-”

“Alex just leave, you broke up with poor Duncan here, he doesn’t want you now either!” Courtney said hanging onto his arm.

My temple started to throb and my anger was reaching the danger point. “Courtney, if you don’t get the fuck out of here in five seconds, tomorrow morning everyone will think Chris let a bear loose and it tore you to shreds. GO.” I said angrily.

“You can’t-”

“Courtney fucking leave!” Duncan said.

She looked shocked but that one made her go. Duncan looked at me, but I just continued with my anger “Anyways, asshole, I was about to come over here and try to work things out with you, cause I felt bad! But you go and kiss Courtney? Fuck you Duncan, I could almost understand if I was standing right next to you and you were trying to make me jealous, but you thought I wasn’t even near you! I mean you just keep digging, and digging and fucking digging-”

I was cut off by his lips on mine. For a second I was dizzy and lost by him then stopped pushing him off. “Stop! Stop fucking with my mind!” I yelled at him walking off.  

Where? I had no idea cause my trailer was right in front of me, but I needed to be further from Duncan.

“No, no Alex, wait!” Duncan said running after me and in front of me grabbing my arms.

“Ok, you have me. What” I asked a little annoyed and hurt. Fighting was just getting too annoying.

“Can-can we just talk? And you listen” He said.

I sighed but nodded. He took my hand and brought me to a part of a set that I was at earlier with Billy. It was a city set and we sat on the ground which was concrete and painted to look like a street.

“So?” I said without looking at him.

“I know I’ve said this more than I should but I’m am so sorry. And I don’t know why I did that I’m an idiot-”

I cut him off “Ha you’ve got that right”

“Alex you don’t know how much I love you” He said.

I had tears in my eyes. God Alex don’t cry, whatever you do don’t cry! “And you don’t know how hurt I get when you flirt with other girls, then I see you fucking kiss them” I said wiping me eyes.

“Your right I don’t. I don’t cause you’re a good girlfriend who wouldn’t do that to me. And I’m the idiot who would and did” He said “And, I don’t know, just seeing you with that stupid Billy kid, it ate me up and I wanted to get back at you. I didn’t want it to go as far as kissing. I have stupid feelings for Courtney somewhere in me, and I’m trying to kick them out. I think seeing you with that Billy guy kinda helped” He said looking at the ground.

“Okay, okay don’t beat yourself up” I said. “I did the same as you, granted we weren’t together but still. We both fucked up today”

“No Alex I will beat myself up. There was still yesterday. And of course I regret kissing Courtney today. I hurt you, I flirted with Courtney in front of your face…I’m such a jerk” He said laying back.

I laid down next to him. “Yeah, you are a jerk. A huge one. But when you don’t do this you are probably the best guy I’ve ever met. And I don’t want to lose you”

“But, what I did” He said.

“You know, I’m sort of getting used to it” I said holding his hand.

“No. Alex I don’t want you getting used to it. I don’t want that to be normal for you. I want to be yours and yours only and for you to be mine and mine only. And I’ll prove that” He said.

“How are you gonna prove it?” I asked holding his hand.

“With this…” He said pulling a ring out of his pocket.

“Oh my god, you got me a ring?” I said.

“Yeah real diamond” He said. “Oh my god how the hell did you afford this?” I asked as he put the ring on my pinkie finger, I told him I loved rings on that finger.

“Let’s just say Harold should hide his wallet better” he said.

I smiled. “You need to get better originality.” I said laughing.

“I know this is just a ring, but try and look at as a promise. I promise you, swear on my life I will never ever, EVER cheat or flirt or anything ever again. I love you and you are the only girl for me” He said hugging me.

I smiled at him. “I love you”

“I love you more” He whispered kissing me. I smiled and kissed him.

“But what if you do cheat or flirt again?” I asked pulling away quick.

“Alex…”

“I get to kill you”

He smirked “Sure, you can torture me even, cause I know it’ll never happen” He said holding me close.

“Huh, your serious” I said.

“Of course Alex, your everything to me, and I’m sorry I had to be dumb and screw it up” He said as we kissed again. When we finally stopped kissing he brought me to my trailer.

I went to bed and left my ring on. I am NEVER taking this off. I love Duncan and now I actually believe I’m his one and only.

But yeah, the ending I put in was the original ending to the other chapter, so, yeah, kinda the same, 

only added a whooooooole big chunk into it :)
