That bloody rat again.

Eleanor had taken a stroll that night, for no particular reason besides getting out of her chamber to clear her mind.

She watched as Ron's rat crawled around the corners of the castle, it kept getting out and about, probably running away from Hermione's overweight cat again.

"Scabbers!" Eleanor whispered with an annoyed tone as she caught up with the rat, seizing it and carefully gripped the rodent. It squealed in her palm, but managed to calm down. "Back to the common room where you belong." She said walking towards that direction, but that was before she hear voices coming from down the hall to the right.

Eleanor walked that direction out of curiosity, her beaming wand leading the way wondering which student had snuck out of bed, but to her surprise there were two figures standing in the hall, Snape and... Harry?

"Harry? What are you doing up this late?" She asked which Harry seemed to already find himself interrogated by Snape.

"I- I couldn't sleep." He tried to explain to Eleanor, but she could tell he wasn't exactly telling the truth. She feared the boy was up wondering around looking for Sirius Black.

"Funny, you said to be sleep walking." Said Severus who now caught Eleanors attention.

"Well, I was just on my way to your common room, why don't I walk you back." Eleanor suggested to Harry which Harry agreed to, wanting to get away from Professor Snape.

"Not so fast." Snape interrupted, "Isn't it suspicious to you that the boy is out this late at night?" He addressed his question to Eleanor, her eyes were defensive and narrowed up at him.

She tried not to huff in annoyance outloud, "Yes it is, Professor, but that seems like a conversation I rather have with Harry alone." She said trying to lead the way, but Snape blocked her motions, every direction she tried to take and he still wouldn't move.

Severus leaned down, his face getting closer to her own. She backed her face away, but he didn't stop until he was close to her ear where he whispered, "Nephew or not, He is still a student of yours and mine."

Eleanor eyed Severus who leaned back correcting his taller posture over her own. She sighed, knowing he was right. So she stepped away. Revealing a confused Harry Potter.

"Turn out your pockets." Snape commanded

"There's nothing in them." Harry replied with a rude tone. Eleanor didn't stop him from talking to Snape that way which irritated the potions master more.

"A Professor asked you to do something and you do it." Snape ordered, "Now, Turn out your pockets, or we go straight to the headmaster himself!" He had a smug look on his face.

Harry didn't do as he was asked until he saw Eleanors face, her head slumped down with a stern look.

The boy folded his pocket inside out, Eleanor watched closely as a parchment was taken out.

"What is this?" Snape snatched the paper from Harry's grip

Harry readjusted his glasses that hung on the bridge of his nose, "Spare Parchment."

Snape analyzed the parchment, his eyes darting back to Harry.

"It looks like a map of some sort." Eleanor now spoke up, "but it's... blank?"

"Its not blank, maybe written in invisible ink..." Snape caressed the paper before taking his wand out and giving it a tap. "Reveal your secret!" He commanded to the map.

Eleanor stared up at him as if he was crazy.

"Show yourself!" Snape said, tapping the map again. It stayed blank. He groaned in aggravation, "I, Professor Severus Snape, master of this school, commands you to yield the information you conceal!" Snape now hit the map multiple times with his wand impatiently.

Eleanor was about to take the map out of his hands, but that was before handwriting began to appear on the surface of the parchment.
It wrote:

Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor snape, and begs him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other people's business.

Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an ugly git.

Mr. Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a Professor.

Mr. Wormtail bids Professor snape a good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball.

"You really pissed off that map, Severus." Eleanor spoke with a slight smirk to the Professor who slowly looked down at her in sudle loathe.

"What's going on?" Asked a voice, the three turned around seeing a shadow emerge from the dark.

"Taking a night walk aren't we?" Asked Severus

Lupin stared at him with a cold expression.

"Don't let him get to you. He just got his feelings hurt by a piece of parchment." Eleanor tried to explain.

Lupins eyes darted towards the map, Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs were tilted on the map. An odd expression appeared on Lupin's face.

Eleanor noticed immediately.

"Obviously this map is full of dark magic." Said Snape

"Dark magic?" Remus repeated outloud, Now taking a grip at the map."No, no, this seems to be a piece of parchment that insults anyone who tries to read it. A childish joke, surely nothing harmful." He spoke, but Snape didn't seem to be buying it one bit.

Harry stood there quietly which Lupin seemed to now notice him, "And you-you should be off to bed! I'll lead the way." Lupin said to Harry who addressed him to follow.

"Harry!" Eleanor exclaimed before he could go very far. She quickly gave him scabbers and ordered him off to bed.

"Goodnight Eleanor." Lupin had only bid her a farewell as he walked off with the map.

Eleanor turned around seeing Severus in her view. "He knows something we don't." He had said, but Eleanor shook her head dumbfounded at the Professor and walked away with him following behind. "Would you just give me a chance and listen to me?!"

"I gave you plenty of chances, Severus!" She said now irritated at the man. "And everytime you manage to say something, argue with me or other people and you get off on it!" Eleanor exclaimed running her hands through her hair, "You know, my heart goes out to you Severus, it does, because I don't understand how you wake up every morning and act like your the victim when you treat people, so."

"I'm sorry."

"Yeah well, Sorry for what? Being an arse to me or everyone else?" She asked before leaving him alone to think for himself.

Back in Remus's chamber, the man flicked the top of the rum bottle, pouring it in the glass as he looked over at his desk in curiosity where the map sat.

He frowned, drinking his alcoholic beverage and analyzed the simple parchment that brought back memories. He tapped his wand on the paper, seeing it still worked functionally. Students were asleep, Dumbledore was pacing around in his study, Harry's name popped up and had appeared to be just getting to the common room with a name next to his own that seemed to be there at the same time.

He dropped the glass on the ground where a loud shatter had echoed his room. He blinked at the name. Hoping to think of it as an allusion of some sort.

But the map didn't lie.

Peter Pettigrew was the name.
