To Alaster Moody:

I hope this letter finds you at a convenient time as I'm in desperate need for it myself. Along with this letter, you will have a bottle of Poly Juice potion. I'll need you to round up as many volunteers when possible and make sure you keep the Potters safe for travel this upcoming Saturday.

Take them to London.

- Severus Snape

Narcissa Malfoy approaches the main entrance hall as stern knocks continue to echo throughout the mansion, her pace quick and head held high as she expects anyone else but the man who stands before her home.

"Severus?" The suprise worn on her face turns skeptical, "What are you doing here? Lucius told me you weren't coming."

Without hesitating, Severus lets himself through the doorway. "I have a date on when the Potters will be moved. Is he here?" A knowing glance was all Mrs Malfoy needed as to who he was asking for.

"Everyone's here and you're not exactly on time either. The meeting has been going on for nearly an hour." Narcissa shuts the door behind him.

To this Severus shrugs, unsure what to say to that and finding himself too exhausted to make up an excuse. "Why would your husband say I wouldn't be coming?" Severus questions in a hushed tone, curious.

A sigh of dismay escaped from her lips as she lead him up the grand staircase. "Considering that you never show up to any of the meetings, he assumed you to be busy..."

Severus felt his lip twitch downward, but kept his demeanor calm. He says nothing in response.

He felt himself becoming more paranoid recently as he hasn't been sleeping very well. Any time he had the chance to sleep he'd have nightmares keeping him awake for the rest of the night.

Every dream was the same: Watching Dumbledore fall to his death had turned into Eleanor falling to hers. There would always be that last glance of hatred in her eye before she was killed from his own wand without meaning to, everytime Severus would try to reach out to catch her before her lifeless body would fall back, but everytime she was out of reach.

She'd die the same way Dumbledore did; in Severus's accountability.

"Listen," Narcissa speaks up in a softer tone. Stopping them in the hall across the closed door that contained muffled conversations. "I wanted to thank you for what you did... for Draco and our family." Her light brown eyes grow sincere, "Lucius won't ever say it out loud, but he is grateful for what you did to keep our son away from all of this. It wasn't an easy thing to do... we are in your debt."

Severus only nods slightly before her hand softly pats the back of his shoulder, "Be careful in here." She whispers just before she walked to the door and opened it to allow him in first along with herself.

It was a spare dinning hall, one usually used for the Malfoys occasional dinner parties. Every seat of the long dark wood table was preoccupied.

The room immediately grew quiet as eyes darted towards the professor who had entered with Narcissa following behind.

"What's he doing here?" Called a voice from the near end of the table, it was Lucius who sat right beside a hooded figure whose face remained hidden and quiet.

Severus didn't need to take a guess on who that could possibly be; It was Voldemort.

Narcissa walked quickly along the table towards her husband before gesturing to Severus with a polite smile. "He says he has news on when the Potters will be moved."

There was a moment of silence then Lucius's cold eyes flicked towards where Severus stood. There was something in those blue orbs that didn't seem at all friendly, but his gaze soon left and directed his attention to the Dark Lord.

Although Malfoy had said nothing, the look he gave Voldemort seemed anything, but peaked of intrest.

"...alright." Came the sudden gravely voice from under his hood. His sharp narrowed red eyes seemed to be the only feature anyone at the table could see, despite the room behing lit up with a goldish hue from the diamond chandeliers above them. "...I'll hear what he has to say...Severus, take a seat."

Hesitantly, but firmly — he takes slow steps towards a chair which had been a few seats away from Lucius and Voldemort. Everyone in the room waited for him to speak as he sat down. "The order of the Phoenix is intending to move the Potters this Saturday Night." He says calmly although he could feel his heart beat quicken.

There wasn't a sound that came from anyone along the table and Severus found himself feeling anxious from the quiet he was met with.

"He's lying, my lord." A older man further down the table had finally spoke, he was the head of magical law enforcement at the Ministry, Corban Yaxley.

Voldemort's head tilts, expecting an explanation.

Severus practically growls in response, "What are you on about?"

Yaxley held his chin high as he spoke, "Dawlish, the auror, has told me himself that neither of the Potters will be moved until the thirtieth."

Lucius leaned back in his seat, a small grin of amusement forming on his lips to see the slightest controversy, He lights a cigarette.

"No— There are no other moving dates! This is it." Severus shakes his head in frustration. "Anything aside from what I said is a false trail."

Yaxley glares at Severus from across the room and Lucius clears his throat, gaining the rooms attention, "To any of those left with knowledge is surely aware that The Order isn't exactly keen on the the Ministry, not anymore." His light blue eyes narrow directly at Yaxley, almost provingly. "They believe that death eaters have infiltrated the Ministry... which is true, thanks to me..." He says almost smugly as a few people around the table snickered although Lucius had no intention on laughing, but sat to observe the man further down the table, "and besides, why should I trust the same man who was in charge of sending me to Azkaban?"

Yaxley straightens his posture, as Lucius continued to stare at him with a threatening demeanor this time around.

"Lu..." Narcissa warns, breaking the tension in the room as she finally catches her husband's side eye.

He takes a drag from his cigarette and sends one last glare to Yaxley before he minds his business.

Lord Voldemort stayed quiet as he seemed to be thinking it over. His hood turned towards Severus.
"...where will they be hiding the boy next?"

Severus was careful on his wording and the amount of time he was wasting by not giving him an instant answer. "I assume a home of someone in the Order," he says, "But they're smart, they'll have every protection the Order can provide. I believe there is a chance, all we need is an opening to attack them during their travel."

Again, the room met with silence.

Then suddenly, Voldemorts hood seemed to turn away from his direction, curious on how true all of this was.

"...How confident are you that this is true?" Voldemort asks the professor.

Severus bows his head slightly, "I know I'm right."

It was just suddenly when something above the table seemed to be summoned. A figure wrapped in magical binds had been lowered from the shadows and brought to view, revolving like a hog over a pit of flames.

Narcissa immediately covered Draco's eyes in horror.

What the hell is this...

Severus slowly looked back to the Dark Lord who is still facing him completely, not bothered by the reactions of those around the table.

"...it's not about knowing anymore..." his voice even more menacing than normal,"... you hope you're right, because if not..." A large snake had now joined along side Lord Voldemort, hissing and curling along his chair.

Severus stayed still, clenching his jaw as he watched Nagini's every move as it's eyes seethed him daringly.

"...Be patient now, Nagini..." Voldemort's long sharp fingers soothingly pets the snake looking as if she was wanting to strike the professor where he sits. "If Saturday night goes as Severus says, I'll be the one to kill the boy... but I will in fact need to borrow a wand..."

Nobody in the room wanted to volunteer.

"...how about you Lucius?" The Dark lord turns to Mister Malfoy who was leaned back against his chair, staring up at the binded figure from above their heads.

"No."

"—Here." Narcissa immediately speaks up after her husband's response, her trembling hand and polite demeanor had reached for her own wand. "Take mine."

Malfoy glanced to his wife, almost annoyed that she was presenting any sort of weakness.

Narrowing his head slightly to this as Narcissa hands him her wand. Voldemort takes it and examines the fourteen inch black and silver handled wand.

"... a feminine touch." Said Voldemort who glanced towards Narcissa. "... this will do."

She nods to him, but says nothing.

"And the woman..." Bellatrix brought up what Severus feared, "If you have no plans for her, I will gladly volunteer to be the one to kill her."

Severus felt his grip tighten around the arms of the chair, if he wanted he could have broke them off right there.

Voldemort looks over his lucky candidates, "... Eleanor Potter will be dead by my hands, but if that time doesn't come ... I'll shall leave that opportunity to the first to find her."

"Alright." Lucius Malfoy muffled with a cigarette hanging by his lips all while Severus practically bore his eyes into his skull. Mister Malfoy got up from his chair, smoothing out his grey wool suit, "If you'll excuse me, I need to get ahold of a few people." but before he leaves he turns to his wife, "Darling, a word outside please."

Both Lucius and Narcissa leave the dinning hall and Draco was excused to go to his room, Narcissa not trusting the boy around anyone else but them.

Severus remains seated and watches them leave.

The figure above had been lowered. She was revealed to be the Muggle Studies Professor Severus had worked with, although they weren't ever acquainted with eachother he recognized her immediately. "No... no... please..." the older woman begged. "Please..."

Severus watched as her green eyes land on him, "Severus?" She asked shocked to see him there "no... help me... no... SEVERUS PLEASE!"

The Dark hooded figure smiled to himself, looking to Severus like this was only a demonstration as to what was to come, "...Nagini, Kill..."

The snake lunged forward, striking the Muggle Studies Professor's face first as everyone who sat around the table was only able to sit and hide the disturbance on their faces.

As the woman was being attacked, Severus could still hear his name being cried out for over and over again, until she was dead.

"I can not believe this!" Vernon Dersley cursed under his breath with a large suite case wheeling behind him. "Kicked out of my own home! This is madness! This is unbelievable!"

Lupin's face went grim, watching the short muggle man grumble back and forth out of the home on Privet Drive.

He waited near the entry way with his hands shoved in the pockets of his trousers, wanting to keep to himself as Eleanor and Harry were around the home helping the family pack, Tonks was preoccupied in the loo from sudden morning sickness.

Petunia who stood by the window, watched her husband struggle to fit everything in the trunk while Eleanor extended a helping hand for Dudley, using her wand to pack everything in his many trunks as he had many things.

Harry approached his aunt Petunia's side and for once in his life he truly felt sorry for the Dursleys, if it wasn't for him they wouldn't need to leave like this - no matter how much his Aunt El had reasured him hours prior to not blame himself for anything that's happened, he still felt guilty.

"For years I feared this day to come." the tall woman says between a sigh, "As soon as you landed on our doorstep we didn't exactly have a choice... we prepared to flee, but we chose to wait and hope that you'd never get that blasted school letter. That just maybe, it'll somehow skip a blood relative like it had to me."

Harry blinked, listening to what she had to say.

"I don't like saying that I have regrets, but unfortunately I have many." A frown she had been wearing had finally turned to him, instead of the usual glance of disappointment she would have given him, it had been replaced with grief. "My sister was a good person despite our differences. I still loved her and I was devastated the night she had left." A tear fell from her powered blushed cheek, "I took my grief out on you, Harry. I'm sorry."

With a slight nod, Harry gave her a small sympathetic smile, "I forgive you."

Eleanor had looked up from helping Dudley to peer over at the scene from what she had just heard bits and pieces between the conversation.

Petunia wiped her tears despite the makeup she had ruined, "I have something else I've regretted to give you..."

The sound of her pointed heels clacked on the floor as she went upstairs to retrieve something beneath a broken floor board.

A tacky floral hat box was brought down to the boy, covered completely with dust.

She handed it to him.

Eleanor approached Harry's side from curiosity, but the guilty look Petunia had given her already told her what had been inside.

"Since the day you arrived here, We had letters addressed to you. Before— I decided to keep them, but Vernon soon found out and we began to just... use them to start the fireplace." She tried to explain

Instantly, Harry had tore the top of the box off to see what Eleanor already expected to see.

Hundreds of letters were stacked with rubber bands, each letter scribbled with Harry's name, every envelope in a different size and colour - all of them from Aunt El.

Tonks entered the room quietly, hand over her stomach with instant regret from the eggs she had eaten.

Her awkward smile turned downward once she noticed the upset glance Eleanor had worn.

"El, you alright?" She leaned on Eleanor's shoulder looking to Harry for an anwser, but he was still staring inside the box.

"He never got any of my letters?" Eleanor barley managed to ask the taller woman.

As Petunia began to apologise Harry turned his back to them, walking away with the box full of letters as he stood in the empty kitchen. Slumping against the counter to look through them.

"Damned trunk door finally shut!" Vernon walked inside the home, "What are you all so upset about?!" He shouts as the teary eyed women all glared at him.

"Is there a problem in there?" Remus called from the door frame.

Vernon huffed, his large form turned in Lupins direction, his face red from anger. "Yes, the problem is you people coming into my home and kicking my family out to the bloody curb!"

"The only one that is going go be kicked to the curb is you big boy, so watch your mouth!" Tonks argues back

Mister Dursley fumed, "I will not stand here and take this sort of talk!"

Eleanor had to practically hold Tonks back as the bright haired woman began to approach him, "Fine by me, we can take this outside!"

As amused as he was, Remus stepped in, "Alright. You won." He reasured tonks with a hidden smirk, "Good Job."

As the family began to enter their car, Dudley stayed behind to say his farewells to Harry.

"I guess it won't be so different for you. As Uncle Vernon would say, I'm just a waste of space. You wouldn't even notice me gone." Harry says to his cousin.

Dudley placed a hand on Harry's shoulder, "I don't think you're a waste of space."

"Thanks." Harry mumbled as Dudley extended his hand as they shook on it before the boy and his family left their home, none of them waving goodbye.

For the remaining hours of waiting, Remus stood guard outside the home as the Order was supposed to be showing up at any moment.

"Are you okay?" Eleanor asked as Harry sat under the staircase closet.

Harry didn't look up at his aunt, instead he looked over the toys had left behind years ago, a miniature toy hoarse and a few soldiers— all toys Dudley no longer wanted.

It took a moment for him to respond, "I'm fine."

A slight frown was worn on her lips as she watched him avoid her, although the hat box with letters still remained at his side.

"I wouldn't have remembered what I wrote in those..." She says with a soft tone, gesturing to the box. "I've written so many."

Harry finally looks over at her, "I read a few... you mentioned your wedding and how you were happy that it was a quiet church ceremony. Nobody else had shown up besides-"

"His brother..." Eleanor finished his sentance, her face slowly turned gloom. "I remember that day, all we had was the ceremony. We went to a bakery right after and shared a slice of cake while Thomas went to the pub next door..." She smiled lightly at the memory, "He came back to the bakery piss drunk, so we left before the owners could kick us out..."

Harry turned his attention back to the toys that sat on a shelf. It was weird for him to think about how his aunt had a life of her own during his many years he spent under the staircase.

Mindlessly unaware that another aunt of his was out there sending him mail while Petunia hid it somewhere under the loose floorboards

"Mind if I sit?" She asked, gesturing to the floor.

He scooted over and she sat beside him, taking in the quiet.

"When is The Order showing up?" Harry asked.

She turned her head to him, "Momentarily, Remus said Alaster has a some kind of plan."

Harry nods for a short response. He had too much on his mind, mostly thinking about the horcruxes he had to somehow find on his own without his aunt knowing.

In his mind, Aunt El would just get in the way. He didn't want her tagging along for that.

He was still upset at her for not understanding what Snape had done. Since the night Dumbledore was murdered, Harry chose to just not discuss anything with her. If there was a conversation, he wouldn't go as far as a 'morning', 'how are you' and a 'good night'.

Leaving his aunt to feel alone in the world.

Eleanor had closed her eyes for a moment, a pinched expression on her face as she breathed out.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked taking in the way his aunt seemed like she was sick for a moment.

"It's nothing. I'm just tired." She shrugged it off, the dark circles under her eyes were proof of that, but Harry had a feeling that she was hiding something for how ill she looked.

"Well," Harry got up, "I'll give you some space." He moves out from under the staircase, but just as he existed a herd of people had entered through the front door.

Alaster Moody, Arthur, Fred, George, Bill, Fleur, Mundungus, Hagrid, Kingsley and surprisingly Ron and Hermione had entered the Dursleys house.

"One at a damn time! Bloody hell!" Madeye shouts pushing through people, he walks on his peg leg and pats Harry roughly on the back and gestures to the open living room, "Meetings in here."

Harry goes to talk to his friends.

Eleanor exists from under the staircase and follows where everyone is going, not until she feels a tap on her shoulder nearly jumping by suprise to see Seria giving her an excited smile.

"Seria!" Eleanor wraps her arms around the blond woman. "You're here? What—"

"Eyepatch over there asked for volunteers." She let's out a small laugh, looking over her exhausted friend. "You don't look so good Ellie."

"Speak for yourself!" Fred interupts with a defensive glance and a sly wink towards Eleanor.

"Not now!" George pushes his brother away from them and into the living room.

She shakes her head after them before turning back to Seria who was still holding onto her forearms. A sincere look written on Seria's face as she spoke, "I can't imagine what you're going through. When I heard what happened—"

"I don't want to talk about what happened." Eleanor spoke quietly, shaking her head.

Pursing her lips, Seria only nodded before guiding her friend into the room everyone else had stood.

"Everyone here? Good — let's get on with it!" Alaster grumbled through the crowd. "If we're planning on moving the two of you," he gestures to Harry and Eleanor, "We're going to have to get past you-know-who, no doubt about it he'll have death eaters patrolling the skies — so, a plan has been made." Moody pulls out a flask from his worn out cloak. "Polyjuice potion, freshly brewed."

Harry understood the plan immediately, "No! There's no way I'll let any of you do this! Pretending to be me?!"

"Well, none of us really fancy it, mate." Fred spoke honestly, "For instance, if something went wrong we'd be stuck as specky, scrawny short gits forever."

"That is true and I quite enjoy my height." George commented as everyone else in the room nodded in agreement.

Harry didn't entertain the idea, "I'm not allowing this to happen. I won't cooperate, you'd need my hair and I won't give it to any of you."

"We can pin you down and shave your head right down the middle." seria suggested with a small shrug, "That way we get what we want and you have a terrible haircut for us to laugh at."

A few snickered but as Harry had his back turned to an impatient Alaster, he plucked a hair from Harry's head making him wince in pain, touching his scalp.

"We don't have time for this!" Moody yells as he puts the hair inside the mud coloured potion.
"Here's how it will go, Tonk's parents has an abandoned farm house, once you're within the boundaries of the protective enchantments we've put there, you'll be able to use a portkey to the burrow for the night, but tomorrow it's London for the two of you."

"London?" Arthur exclaims, "What do you mean London? You never mentioned that they'd be leaving."

Eleanor opened her mouth to speak, but Remus interupts. "There's a safeguard in London. One in which Dumbledore trusted... it's not up to us to decide, but for them."

"What about the wedding?" Fleur speaks up, "Please, they must stay."

Bill agrees, "We'd love for you to stay for the wedding at least." His kind smile gestures more to Eleanor than Harry.

"I suppose it's best to be discussed about later..." Eleanor smiles in response, knowing that she can't valge for her nephew.

"Who cares! Drink up!" Alaster interupts everyone as he shoves the flask towards George first.

It didn't take long before George, Fred, Ron, Fleur, Hermione and Mundungus all transformed into a clone of the boy.

Fred and George humored,"Look we're identical."

Eleanor went into the kitchen as everyone began to dress themselves, Remus followed behind.

"You'll be okay, you know." Remus reasures her as he leans against the tacky pink coloured counter, "I've already told Alaster that I'd be taking you to the portkey, myself."

Eleanor sits down at the table, "And Harry?"

"Hagrid is taking him." He explains with a gentle voice,"Ron will be with Tonks, George with Seria, Fred with Arthur, Fleur with Bill, Hermione with Kingsley, Mundungus and Moody... and so on— we'll be okay."

Eleanor takes a deep breath, nodding as Remus continues to stare down at her with a comforting smile.

"Do you think it's a good idea for us to go to London?" She looks up at him as he listens, her voice slightly hoarse within her whisper.

A blank expression crosses his face before he exhales a breath he didn't know he had been holding, "I think whatever you decide you feel more comfortable with is the better idea." He gives her his honest response, "My home is always open to you. If you decide you don't want to go, I'll valge for you. Everyone in there just wants you safe, the destination doesn't matter."

She gives him a small smile as she nods.

Remus looks down to his feet before he begins, "Tonks and I want you to be the godmother."

"What?"

A warm smile spread on his lips, "We want you to be their godmother. It's already been thought through and... we instantly agreed that you'd be a suitable candidate considering your profession." He laughs a little, arms crossing.

Eleanor is teary eyed as she grins up at him. A small laugh escaping from her lips, "I'd love to..."

He gives her a genuine smile, his brown hazel eyes twinkling with joy.

"Everyone ready?!" Alaster shouts throughout the house as he looks around to see seven Harry Potters staring up at him. "We've got no time to loose!"

Everyone hurried out of the house and into the garden, some had broomsticks in hands and a few black thestrals were pulled at by their restraints.

Hagrid was standing by his motorbike with round goggles on.

Harry instantly got into the side car as Remus helped Eleanor up on a thestreal. Taking the lead ropes in his hands, sitting in front of her.

"You're taking a thestral?" Harry asks up at his aunt who seemed to smile down at him sheepishly.

"Yeah, I should have mentioned that I'm not very good at flying a broom." Eleanor admits, "and I don't necessarily like heights."

Alaster whisles to gain everyones attention, "Alright! I need everyone ready, it's crucial for all of us to leave at the exact same time or the diversion will be in shambles!"

Hagrid kicks the motorbike to life as everyone on brooms hovers slightly in the air.

"Good luck everyone!" Shouts Alaster

Eleanor tightens her grip on Remus as she looks to Harry, "Please be careful with him, Hagrid!"

"Yer got nothin' to worry about!" Hagrid shouts back and Harry gives his aunt one last nod before everyone lifted off the ground on Alasters count down.

The thestreal doesn't hesitate to race up above everyone as Eleanor let's out a nervous scream from her stomach dropping at the feeling. The cold summer night wind nearly wants to push her off the creature as she hangs onto Remus for dear life.

"Close your eyes if you need too!" Remus practically shouts as the view of the others come to appear just below them, "I've got you!"

The ground below them shrinks as they highten into the sky, escaping through the clouds.

Minutes past until out of nowhere from their peaceful flight, rays of light can be seen in the far distance.

An ambush of hooded figures circling those on brooms and Eleanors eyes widen once Harry had been lost from her sight.

"Remus! We need to help them!"

"No!" He shouts, "Just Stay calm, I'm taking a detour!" He takes the restraints and leads the thestreal further up into the sky. "I can't let them see you!"

Eleanor stares down at everyone who fights back, spells being thrown and blocked all while Remus tries to stay out of sight.

"We can't do nothing about it!" She yells through the roaring wind, "Everyone can get killed down there!"

He looks over his shoulder to reasure her that everything will be fine, but instead he is met with a dark ploom coming right at them from behind.

Eleanor looks over with wide eyes and takes out her wand despite Remus's orders for her to not interfere.

"Stupefy!"

The Death Eater takes the hit into the clouds but appears back on their trail, inching behind them even faster and than just above.

She lifts her wand as well as Remus who struggles to keep the thestreal steady and wand pointed at their attacker.

The Death Eater casts a spell, the words forming out of his mouth from what Eleanor could see, but something had stopped him.

Within the speed of light another dark ploom had collided into the Death Eater, making him disappear from sight and wand drop from the sky.

Remus is hesitant and confused just as Eleanor had been.

The Death Eater had just vanished from their sightings.

"Who the hell was that?" Remus asks outloud as he looked around and below them to see less and less hooded figures following those who they left with.

Eleanor blinked, her heart racing and eyes watering slightly. She had a feeling of who it might have been... but it couldn't be...

The rest of the flight to the farm house had been peaceful, despite the death eater who disappeared.

When they got to the portkey to the burrow, Remus was greeted with Tonks running towards him.

"You made it!" She hugs him than looks to Eleanor, giving her a hug as well. "Did it go okay?"

Remus nods, "We had a Death Eater on our trail, but..."

Tonks eyes grew wide, "They were swooped up too? Ron and I had the same thing happen! Two of them but it's like they were plucked from the sky! We were lucky, they nearly had us!"

"Aunt El!" Harry shouts as he approached Eleanor. Tears in his eyes.

Eleanor instantly goes to him and brings him into her arms. "Oh my god. Thank god you're okay! I couldn't see you! What happened?"

"Hagrid got stunned." Harry explained, "He's fine now, But Voldemort was there, but... I'm fine." He shakes off the thought at the battle they had, "Hedwig died."

"No..." Eleanor says covering her mouth, "Harry... I'm so—"

"We've got injured!" Appeared Arthur and Seria who had George leaning on his side with a missing ear.

The side of his head and neck was completely drenched in crimson.

Molly rushes out of the burrow as everyone follows in, "What happened?!"

"I'm so sorry, Mrs Weasley." Seria explains out of breath. "The spell came out of nowhere and..."

Fred runs in along with Kingsley and Hermione, "George?!" He approached his brother who layed on the couch.

Bill, Fleur and Ron had entered with horrified looks.

Fred kneeled besides George who was slightly out of it, "He'll be alright won't he?"

"I'm still better looking than you." Said George.

Fred narrowed his eyes. "Mate, you don't have an ear." He was almost annoyed with his brothers choice of words.

George raised his brows, with a hand gesture over his damaged ear, "What? Sorry I can't hear you."

A clean wet cloth was placed over his ear by Eleanor while Molly went to fetch bandages.

The room remained quiet for a moment until Kingsley spoke up, "Alaster Moody is dead."

The grimaces of shock circled around the room, nobody knew what to say or do. Eleanor covered her mouth as a tear fell down her cheek.

"Mundungus... panicked I suppose and left during the attack." Kingsley ran a hand down his face, upset that he had lost his long time friend and colleague. "That tough bastard should've lived..."

Mr Weasley speaks up, his eyes watery. "There was nothing anyone could have done. We are lucky to be standing here now, every single one of us thanks to Alaster. It... it could have gone much worse."

Harry sighs as he shakes his head slightly to himself, feeling complete guilt and desperation to be alone. "I need to sleep." Is all the boy says as he storms off to another room.

Hidden in an alley with a protection spell beyond the brick abandoned buildings in the middle of nowhere, Severus grunts as he shoves an unconscious death eater down with an exhausted huff.

Five of them layed unconscious, every single one obliviated, leaving only one being tied down with magical binds, blood seeping through his shirt from the sectumsempra curse that was shot acrossed his chest.

"You're fucking crazy!" The Death Eater shouts even though nobody would be able to hear him, "The dark lord is going to kill you for this! You're dead!"

He was the same man that was after Eleanor during the attack, the first pick from Severus's taking saved for last.

Severus doesn't care to wipe away the bead of sweat that formed above his brow as he glares down at the death eater with a darker look than he had before.

"Yeah? well...you won't have to worry about that..." he exhales, shrugging a bit. The grip on his wand tight as he moves forward, large steps bringing him closer to the death eater who felt light headed from the blood loss.

Severus lowers himself on the balls of his feet. Sniffing a little as he takes deep rigid breaths looking over the deep wound.

The Death Eater shutters, "Are you going to kill me?"

"No..." he confesses with honesty, "But you're going to wish I did." His lip twitched.

This was purely out of revenge.

Not a single clear thought had entered Severus's head, no second guessing or hesitating.

"I'm not healing you..." He says, "and I'm going to leave you without any memory whatsoever—"

"N-n-n-no!" The Death Eater begs but Severus only stares at him with impatience. "I'm sorry! I didn't know! I didn't—"

"You didn't know what?!" The professor shouts, "By all means, finish that sentence. I would like to know what you didn't."

The man shakes his head, unsure and scared. "I- I don't know."

"You're so right." Severus has no emotion as he speaks before he brought is wand into view, "Oblivate."

AN: a little introduction to dark Severus? Yes.
