"At least the weather is nice, yes?" Eleanor spoke outloud at the teachers box where Slytherin and Gryffindor start their first match. For the last couple of weeks it had been pouring off and on, Today had been a rather blue sky, but still breezy enough to wear a jumper and scarf.

"Indeed it is!" Said Lockhart who sat behind Eleanor with a cheeky grin on his face. She looked to Severus who sat to her right. The both of them shared an annoyed look before going back to the game just before it started.

Two teams flyed up in the air and the crowd roared. Slytherin took the right side and Gryffindor the left. Madam Hooch commanded the rules just before she set the quaffle, Bludgers, and the golden snitch loose to begin the game.

The game had barely begun and slytherin was up sixty points. For awhile it was Harry who was whizzing around on his broom, Eleanor had noticed pointing it out. "Is it normal for a Bludger to be doing that?" She referred to the ball that was chasing him.

Snape eyed the situation.

Apparently Eleanor wasn't the only one who noticed this as Woods called a time out having his team land on the field.

"Looks like they've got it sorted out. No need to panic." Snape reasured Eleanor

As soon as the game started, the bludger was after Harry again and this time Eleanor knew something was up. Immediately she turned around facing Lockhart who hadn't any attention to the game at all, in fact he was picking at his nails.

Ew.

Turning back Eleanor wondered who enchanted the ball, "Is it Draco?" She wondered

"No, because he is on the team." Severus pointed out Malfoy flying around on his broom.

"Of course you let Malfoy on the slytherin team." She commented

Snape cleared his throat. "I'm afraid we having bigger issues then that." He muttered as the bludger that was following harry was now penetrating all the boxes causing each one to shake like an earthquake.

When it hit the teachers box Eleanor was knocked over, luckily Severus caught her before she could fall. Looking up her eyes met with his own. It was just like in the cheesy novels and films where the princess falls and the brave knight catches her. She didn't know what else to compare this cliche moment to and Snape looked as if he was suprised he caught her without even thinking about it or the fact of how close she was to him, how close their faces were, how close he was holding her. He could see the hazel color up close, her starling eyes.

Blushing at the hand that wrapped around her waist she muttered, "Thanks." And he let go but his eyes never left the redness on her usual pale face. In fact it deepened the more he stared at her.

Was she uncomfortable? So many thoughts ran through his head, enough to distract him from the whole game. Harry had slipped off his broom landing in the sandlot. With rejoice Harry had caught the snitch which ended the game.

Eleanor didn't hesitate to hurry to where Harry layed just before the bludger was going to aim, but Hermione had it explode into pieces.

"Five points to gryffindor." Eleanor ran up to the scene to give Hermione a pat on the back. "Are you alright Harry?"

Lifting his arm everyone had noticed that it was broken.

Eleanor stood in shock, he must have broken it when he fell. Much to her dismay Professor showoff approached Harry with his wand. "I have a solution that can fix this!" And before he knew it Harry's broken bone was replaced with no bones.

Rolling her eyes Eleanor turned her head to give Snape a look, but instead he wasn't there.

Was he mad at her? She thought to herself.

Harry had been in the hospital wing until his bones were healed. Madam Pomfrey had a potion to have his bones grow back.

After Eleanor left the hospital wing to make sure Harry was alright she went in search for Severus.

Immediately she found herself knocking on his door, it didn't open for a few moments. She waited about a minute until it dramatically swung open and Snape stood at the door with an expression that seemed almost suprised.

"Hey," She said with a smile, "I just wanted to see if you were okay-"

Snape who stood tall and over her height didn't move a muscle, only he said, "Yes, Fine." At this point Eleanor felt like one of his students; intimidated and unwelcomed by his presence.

"Ok." Her short statement broke his heart; if only she knew. "I'll just, let you continue on with whatever you're doing." With that she left and he shut his door.

He stood by it for a moment.

"Who was that?" Asked Lucius Malfoy who had invited himself in after the quidditch match to speak with Severus about certain things. "She sounded familiar."

"Professor Adler, no matter." He walked coldly back into his room and tried to move the subject. "So as you were saying-"

"Isn't she the help? The study hall Professor Draco has been telling me about?" Lucius carried on the conversation, "I must pay her a visit sometime."

Snape swallowed quietly and his thoughts of worry are with Eleanor. First he had to put on an act incase Malfoy was listening in which he was, pretending to not be associated with her, but it was for her protection. If Lucius were to find who she really was-what was the point of the dark lord himself to only kill Harry...

"What are you two doing?"

The voice of Professor Adler almost scared the Weasley twins as they hid behind the pillar not too far from the slytherin Dormitory. Of course she put two and two together, but she wanted to hear their answer.

George quickly put a firework in his back pocket while Fred made a distraction.

"Hi," he raised an eyebrow with a flirty smirk, "How are yuh?"

Eleanor eyed the two and put out her palm, "Give me it, George."

"I'm Fred!" Claimed George.

Eleanor blinked a few times, "Fred has a freckle on his neck, you do not. So, don't make me tell you a second time." She motioned her hand in a 'gimmie' gesture and finally George coughed up the firework.

"I knew she liked me." Muttered Fred proudly as the twins walked away.

Shaking her head she turned around only to bump into a chest, expecting it to be Lockhart she looked up with a glare, but her face was inches away from one that wasn't so familiar. The man only stared down at her with his silver blue eyes and his face resembled some similarity to a statue. For a moment she thought he was as he hadn't blinked.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." She apologized taking a step back which caused Lucius Malfoy to eye more of her.

"No trouble, Mrs?" He awaited her name.

"Professor Adler, Eleanor Adler." She spoke clearly.

He raised an eyebrow, "Is that your married name?" He questioned with a raised brow.

"Nope, it's mine."

"Unmarried..." Lucius muttered quietly to himself as he turned on his heel with a nod as if he was taking notes. He began to circle her like a vulture. Her eyes never left his movements.

"Who are you if you don't mind me asking?" Eleanor continued to stare up at him. She couldn't deny that is had been hard to do so with such silver blue eyes looking into her own.

It almost gave her goosebumps glancing into them.

"Lucius Malfoy, father of Draco Malfoy-I believe you've taught him, yes?"

She stood and nodded with a small smile, "Of course. He hardly needs my help though. He's quite intelligent."

"Glad to hear." Malfoy raised his lips upwards.

"I beg your pardon, but I really must be going." She stated which Lucius moved to the side allowing her a path.

"Of course, Ms Adler. I hope I see your face again." Lucius Malfoy gave her another smile before she left his sight.

As soon as Eleanor turned the corner she started to feel uncomfortable knowing that the mans eyes had been following her as she walked away.

Students waved to her along her way across the castle and Neville Longbottom even had someone to walk and talk with on his way to the library, but on the inside Eleanor could only visualize Lucius Malfoy's silver eyes staring at her. His gaze ghosted her mind and was bound to haunt her.

Quietly, she made it to her room and shut the door behind her to let out a deep breath. She needed the quiet. She just needed to calm down, it was just a weird situation. Malfoy was probably just a strange man and nothing more.

DOOK DOOK DOOK

"Oh my god.." She complained as this was the last thing Eleanor wanted to hear. The pounding of the door belonged to Snape who pushed himself in as soon as she cracked open the door.

"What are you-"

"I didn't mean to say what I did when you knocked on my door. Lucius Malfoy was in ny room and I didn't want him interfering with you." He splurged out.

Eleanor who stood with narrowed eyebrows, "Severus, I already met him."

"When?"

She shrugged, "Don't know... ten minutes ago."

"What did he say to you? What did you say to him?" Asked a somewhat nervous Severus.

Eleanor looked up at him with a questionable look, "He just asked who I was and I didn't tell him who I actually was... I just- introduced myself as Draco's professor. By the way why is he so strange?"

Severus looked down at her chosing to ignore her question. "Just be careful who you think you're dealing with, Eleanor." He said and walked out of her room to leave Eleanor standing there alone confused and tensed.
