"Why are you here?"
Sihyo let out in pure shock.

"Sihyo... It's not what you think okay? It's just that-"
Hwayoung paused when she felt unsure of how to phrase her words correctly.

As a therapist, understanding a patient's feelings are our top priority.

Hwayoung knew that Jungwon would like to have his problem kept confidential hence, she was not able to phrase it out.

"It's just that what? I'm giving you a chance to explain, Hwayoung..."
Sihyo taunted back as her anger grew inside of her.

"We have a project work for Science. She is my partner. Why can't she be here?"
Jungwon quickly replied on Hwayoung's behalf.

The only class where Hwayoung and Sihyo were different in — Sciences.

"OH! I see! Aish! You could have just told me earlier, Hwayoung! You did not have to keep me worried!"
Sihyo smiled and playfully slapped Hwayoung's upper arm.

Hwayoung just plastered a fake smile and played along.

"Do you need my help? Can I come in to help y'all?"
Sihyo offered a helping hand.

Jungwon and Hwayoung instantly turned to look at each other and turned back to face Sihyo.

"No need, when you came over, we were already done,"
Jungwon replied.

"Ah! If that's the case, do you want to go out with me?"
Sihyo asked which only made Jungwon and Hwayoung astounded.

"I- I mean, do you want to go shopping with me? Just shop!"
Sihyo paraphrased her words when she noticed the two's reactions.

She's not planning to leave today...

"Alright."
Jungwon shrugged and Hwayoung felt a little heartbroken inside.

Anyone could tell at that spot that Sihyo was planning to go on a date with Jungwon.

She was all dressed up with designer jewellery, clothing and branded objects.

"Just give me a while to clear out my homework."
Jungwon quickly muttered and closed the door before Sihyo could say something else.

"I guess I should get going..."
Hwayoung shrugged.

"Hwayoung!"
Jungwon called out before Hwayoung could leave.

IS HE NOT GOING AFTER ALL?

Hwayoung smiled in excitement and turned around.

"You forgot this!"
Jungwon giggled and clipped back her dandelion clip on her hair.

The baby powder-like scent of Jungwon lingered around Hwayoung's nose for just that few seconds.

"I'll get going now. Take care, okay?"
Jungwon sweetly said and patted Hwayoung's head.

"You're going?"
Hwayoung asked but, Jungwon was already out of sight.

Looks like I still had my hopes too high...

"Jungwon ah, are you close to Hwayoung?"
Sihyo asked after she purchased a branded bag.

"Yeap. That's how I feel. I'm not quite sure about her."
Jungwon replied.

"Does Jake like her?"
Sihyo asked out of a sudden.

"Why?"

"Just curious. Because Jake treats her differently than how he treats other females."
Sihyo replied.

"Yeah."
Jungwon jealously replied.

"Oh, I see... Wanna have some ice cream?"
Sihyo pointed at the near ice cream stall and Jungwon nodded his head.

"Alright."
Jungwon replied as he nodded his head.

"What flavours would the both of you like to have?"
the lady asked.

"Strawberry, please."
Sihyo replied politely.

"What about you, young man?"

"Salted caramel, please."
Jungwon told and the lady went on to scoop

SAME AS HWAYOUNG?!

"I didn't know you liked salted caramel too."
Sihyo blinked unbelievably.

"Well, someone made me like that flavour."
Jungwon smiled at the thought of her.

"It's Hwayoung, right?"
Sihyo looked at Jungwon with a blank expression.

Jungwon remained silent and pursed his lips together before he nodded his head.

"You like Hwayoung, don't you?"
Sihyo sadly let out.

She did not even have to listen to Jungwon's response and she already knew it was her best friend.

"Jungwon, can you give me a chance? Just a chance for me to prove that I truly like you."
Sihyo finally confessed.

Jungwon stared at her in disbelief.

SIHYO LIKES ME?!

"Yang Jungwon, I've liked you for three years and it's going to be the fourth year of me having a crush on you."
Sihyo picked up her courage and told him everything that she was hiding inside of her the whole time.

Fortunately, before Jungwon could respond to her anything, the lady called out for them to take their ice creams.

"Hwayoung, you like Jungwon, don't you?"
Jake enviously let out.

"Jake, how many times must I say this? Let's not talk about it anymore-"

"You love him, don't you?"
Jake cut her in.

After Jungwon left, Jake called out Hwayoung for dinner and since Hwayoung has nothing better to do, she agreed.

"Jake, I'm trying to get over him. Can't you stop reminding me about him? It's just making it more difficult for me-"

"JUST STOP!"
Jake shouted and earned the attention of others, especially Hwayoung.

"J- Jake..."

"You know what?"
Jake angrily cut her in again.

It's pointless to go after her already, Jake.

"My advice to you! If you truly love him, go ahead and confess to him. Stop making me think I have a chance with you when your heart already has someone."
Jake let out softly and walked away after he placed the bill on the table.
