Its been a few weeks since Jake and I's friendship had ended. Everything was turning back to normal. I finally felt at peace. Our soccer team won their last game at the school so they are competing in another city tomorrow which is really exciting. Sunghoon and I had our last competition of the season. We didn't win, but its okay. There's always next year. Finals are coming up so I've been drowning in school work instead of enjoying the spring air.

"Hello?" I picked up my phone to my ear.

"Hey, baby. Whatcha up to?"

"Hee! I thought you'd never call."

"What do you mean? We just got to our hotel."

"Well, I desperately needed a study session interruption."

He laughed a little. "Why don't you go hangout with Sunoo? I'm sure he misses you."

"I wish. He's been training for his company auditions. I don't wanna disturb him."

"Oh, I see."

"Well, when do you get back?" I asked.

"Why? Do you miss me already?" I could hear him smiling through the phone.

"I guess you could say that." I laughed.

"Day after tomorrow."

"Okay, well then I'll see- oh, hold on." I pulled my phone down from my ear to see someone else calling me.

"What is it?"

Sunghoon was calling me. But since I answered Heeseung first, I decided to call him later.

"It was Sunghoon calling me."

"Is he upset about not winning? You guys haven't spoken much since then."

"I don't think so. He was the one who told me to not e sad over it."

I heard other people talking in the back of Heeseung.

"Are you busy? We can talk later tonight."

"Sorry, love. I promise I will call you later." He said after someone called his name. "I love you."

"Love you too." I said before I hung up.

Seems like everyone is busy these days. I looked down at my phone again to see multiple missed calls and a voicemail from Sunghoon. I clicked on it and held it to my ear.

"Hey, y/n. It's Hoon. I'm sorry I didn't talk to you about this again sooner, but I'm at the airport right now..." There was a pause before he sighed. "I'm about to leave to study abroad right now." My eyes widened as I sat up straight. "My flight leaves soon and I wanted to say goodbye earlier but you didn't answer.."

He kept talking but I stopped listening. I threw on my shoes and ran out the door to the airport.
