get to know me

Hi, my name, or should I say my pen name, is nimiserafae (nim-me-Sara-fae). Before I truly get into myself, let me tell you why I chose a pen name... nimisera means someone who is wise beyond age in Elven language, and fae is a fairy. Which is something I've always liked about fantasy.

Now onto me,

I started writing books at 13-14 a freshman in high school in 2017. At first, art was the only thing that interested me, one way to help me cope with everything around me.
Writing had become that outlet as well, of course, as many authors probably started my first time writing was only a joke for English class, my teacher I had freshman well two teachers telling me to expand on that, and I did.
Now that book I started with is now on its way to being a trilogy series, a historical fiction one at that.

As I write this, get to know me, the author/writer, for all the lovely Siridean I have, it will almost be six years since.

If you noticed I didn't call you a reader, I choose a name called Siridean (si-ri-dean) siridean means searcher, and I feel like it is well fit for those who read my books, yes it generally the name chosen is a boy's name but, I chose for the meaning.

As of now, I have twenty-eight books (all in progress), mostly fitting into fiction or fantasy, but many with wide ranges. I will reveal as I go my dear siridean.

Each of these has their own group, as I publish my books I will update this page for you all.

Now onto me, but farther in detail.

First, before I get too crazy about the little things. I want to start by talking about my art and how it came to be where I am now.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember truly. Art seems to run in the family, for art became an outlet for me to express myself, and for just how I visually saw the world.

I'm a self-taught artist, meaning I draw on paper and learn my mistakes as I go, but the way I started was I look at a reference picture and make it my own, of course, many drawings I've done look like the photo, but again I do my best to change as much of it I can, referencing again.

I do more traditional style art, but I am adventuring into digital art, painting, and using other forms that aren't just pen and pencil. I was never fond of people's comments on my art, for as I have said for all my life, my work can be very dark in some aspects. So having those small comments understandably were there to those who were in a norm, so I know many of them were just because what I did wasn't seen normally I enjoy trying to break society's norm, if you will I'm a rule breaker, at my will. But breaking those norms are definitely very fun to do.

Second, about my writing, the same way as my art, how it came to be where I am now.

Writing had started as a joke. I wasn't overly fond of writing. But once I realized what I could do. So, I started just letting words into pages upon pages. Writing is like when you play pretend at recess with friends, but with me it's only to myself really, I act out the scenes I want to place, so you siridean can vision it better, but also just for my sanity. Get it? Cause have you ever not met a crazy author who loves to pull twists on you?
