Titus

Wow... You thought. Leam is so... so... big, and this is only the capital city! I wonder how the rest of cities and villages are.

You gapped in awe at the large and bustling empire. Someone could get lost in here... You first pumped at the thought, because then Barakat would have a hard time finding you.

Now you were just wandering around, continuing to gape at the all the amazing things going on. Your eyes were sparkling at all of the shops and stands laid out before you. You just wanted to frolic about and eat and buy as much stuff as you wanted, you knew you couldn't, but you still wanted to dream about it. While you were daydreaming about eating all the wonderful food and buying all the amazing souvenirs, you hit something hard, and fell onto your but. You rubbed it before standing up. Curse my clumsiness! You thought to yourself.

"I'm sorry about that, miss," a gentle, yet strong voice said.

There they were again. The birds...

You looked up and saw a man with long blond hair standing above, his hand was extended to help you up. He seemed nervous for some reason, and you figured it was because he thought he had run into you. You gratefully accepted his hand as he pulled you to your feet. You looked at his face before quickly looking away. He had such beautiful blue eyes; you thought you would end up staring at them if you looked at them any longer, and the last thing you wanted to do was scare him.

"No, its fine. It was really my fault. I wasn't paying attention and bumped into you. So I should be the one apologizing. Sorry sir," you stated rubbing the back of your neck.

He looked at you curiously before asking, "Are you new here?"

You looked at him, surprised that how he could figure that out. Did you look like a tourist? That was the last thing you wanted. You couldn't stand out with Barakat following you. Anyone who stood out would immediately catch his attention.

"Yeah, how could you tell?"

"Oh," he shook his hands wildly, "no reason, I just guessed from how you were looking at all the shops." He responded, "I looked at them the same way you did when I first got here too."

"Really? I guess we are both very childish adults then," you giggled.

"Would you like me to give you a tour, since you are new here?" The man offered.

"Sure, I would love that!" You clapped your hands together in excitement.

You both started walking down the streets of Leam. As he pointed out the places and explained them to you, he asked about you.

"Well, what are you doing here in Leam?" He interrogated.

"Well, don't you think you should ask my name first?" You teased, elbowing him.

"Oh, right! Sorry," he apologized for the second time that day, "I'm Titus Alexius," he held out his hand, "and who might you be?"

"I'm (y/n)." You shook his hand and smiled, delighted to meet a new friend.

"It's nice to meet you, (y/n), excuse my actions earlier, I wasn't thinking clearly."

"It's alright," you assured, "I don't mind. But to answer your question, I'm just traveling. I decided I would go on an adventure to escape my troubles and explore the world."

You felt sort of bad for lying to the young man when you saw him smile brightly and nod to your response. You didn't know why you felt bad. You had never felt bad lying to anyone in the past, so why did you care now with the man you just met.

"That's a good reason. What places have you visited so far, besides here? Has anything interesting happened?" You could hear the excitement in his voice when he asked you. He really wanted to know about your adventure.

"Well... A lot of places actually. Many of them were small towns though, and I didn't get to stay that long because I needed to keep moving," you explained.

He nodded again, "Sometimes those small places are the best to visit. It isn't always in big cities that you see the cultural traditions of the empire. I think all places count in your adventure, no matter how big or small." He turned and smiled at you.

You were about to respond, even though you weren't sure what you were going to say, as you were amazed by these wise words from someone as young as him, but you were interrupted.

"Titus!" You heard a high pitched voice yell.

You both turned to the voice, and you saw a young girl run towards Titus with open arms. He bent down, his arms out and caught her in a hug before spinning her around. She giggled at his action. You smiled warmly. The two were so cute together.

"Why are you out here? You shouldn't be exploring the streets alone," Titus scolded the little girl.

"I know," she muttered, "but I wanted to be with you!" She hugged him even tighter.

"I want to spend time with you too, Marga, but you know I have stuff to take care of," Titus explained.

The little girl, who you assumed was Marga, looked over to you. You smiled and waved at her. Her eyes widened after looking at you for a few seconds as if something had clicked in her brain. She whipped her head to Titus.

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend!" Marga exclaimed as Titus set her down.

Wow, I am a terrible person for not updating sooner. It is just that I don't always feel like writing, and when I write when I don't feel like it my writing becomes sloppier and it isn't as interesting. (That's how the last few chapters with Aladdin were written and I wasn't to happy about the result.) In other news, I will try to write some more chapters today of this and my one-shot book so I can publish them later so we don't run into this problem again for a while. But I was writing this and thought "OMG, I FORGOT ABOUT MARGA I NEED TO INCLUDE HER!!!" I had iffy feelings on her at first, but I think she is adorable now so I just needed to include her! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving too! I did and I get to go to my second thanksgiving tomorrow! (I usually have multiple of holidays, one for each side of the family!) Well, anyways...

NEXT TIME:

Titus froze, unsure of what to do, with his face as red as a Morgiana's hair.

"No, I... Uh... S-she's not... Were n-not," he stuttered out.

Reader-chan and Titus are in a bit of a sticky situation now, but I think they can get out of it. But will this improve or ruin their friendship? Oh! And where will Reader-chan stay the night, because she hasn't found a hotel yet!

Goodbye, Reader-chan!!! Have an anime filled day!!! ...........I need to come up with a new goodbye...........
