:::Truth:::

After my fourth period, Street Law class, which thankfully had only humans in, Stiles found me in the hallway.

"Hey, Ava!"

I smiled as I looked at him, into those chocolate-brown eyes. He looked so innocent, yet he somehow was dragged into this world of the supernatural. I wondered if he craved the danger like I did, or if he hated every second of it.

"Hey, Stillinski." I smirked. He just grinned wider and said, "wanna sit with us?"

I thought for a moment as we walked in the cafeteria. I couldn't see Kit or Alice in sight.

"Sure, why not?"

His smile grew. "Cool. C'mon." He said with excitement as he dragged me to his table. There sat Scott and Lydia, along with other people I didn't recognize. There was a dark-haired girl that I knew was the Kitsune. She was sitting close to Scott, and judging by how much the alpha reeked of her energy, I assumed they were dating. Then, there was a younger guy. He was definitely a Beta.
across from him was another beta, one with curly blonde hair and a scarf. He was hand in hand with a dark-haired human. Finally, beside them was a short-haired girl who smelled strongly of a coyote.
"This is Ava." Stiles introduced me.
I smiled, unsure what to say as Stiles just told me their names. He pointed to the curly-haired guy and the human. "That's Isaac, Allison-" he pointed to the young beta, "That's Liam."
Liam awkwardly smiled, but I could tell he was...sniffing me.
He must be new at this.
"That's Malia." Stiles pointed at the coyote, "and that's Kira" he pointed towards the Kitsune sitting near the alpha.
"And of corse, you met Scott and Lydia."
"Nice to meet you." I smiled, but I could tell everyone was on alert. They knew I weren't human.
The fear, curiosity, and paranoia on their faces made me want to laugh. Maybe I should just tell them that I knew and get it over with? I wouldn't want it to take days to find out. That's always annoying.
I smirked, thinking about their faces if I did say it.
"Nice to meet you too." Allison said, shaking hands with me. I smiled and shook her hand. I liked her. She was professional.
I could tell by the look on their faces that the kitsune was oblivious, and so was Allison. Isaac, Liam, Malia, and Scott were on high alert, but the Banshee seemed...
Well, she seemed nervous. And confused. Like she wasn't sure if I was going to die, or if I was the one who will cause someone to die. Or whatever she was thinking, it was along the lines of Death.
Instead of opening my mouth and saying something stupid, Stiles placed his hand on my back gently and said, "wanna go get some food?"
"Sure" i said as we turned around and headed towards the lunch line. He shoved his hands in his pocket nervously. I could tell he was nervous. Was he always like this, or just with me?
I smiled at his nervousness. It was kind of cute, and gladly not annoying.
He grabbed his food, which was a pizza and chocolate milk. I did the same as we headed back to the table in silence.
He led me to an empty seat, him sitting across from me. I was sitting right next to the human that was obviously apart of the pack too, judging by her energy.
"Hey, so what happened with Theo?" Lydia asked me. I knew she knew what happened. I smirked. What did she want, me to admit the truth?
I was OK with that. Yep, totally fine. I missed being around so many supernaturals anyway. It wasn't like I wanted to be in their pack and lose my alpha status, but it would be nice to know them too. Right?
Yeah. Not all werewolves are monsters, and not all monsters do monsterous things.
I got this.
I swallowed a bite of my pizza, "oh you know, he got mad I knew he was a Chimera." I continued to eat my pizza, pretending to not really think anything was a big deal. Inside, i was trying not to laugh at their faces. All of their eyes were wide, their mouth's in an 'O' shape. I wanted to burst into laughter, but I chose not to.
"Wait, what?!" Stiles was the first to break the silence, "you know-"
I smirked, "yeah. I know, Stillinski." I said, swallowing another bite. "And I know you know because your pack wouldn't stop watching me like I was some zoo animal."
Stiles' cheeks turned red, yet his eyes were still wide.
Scott shifted in his seat uncomfortably. "You knew this whole time?"
"Isn't that what I just said?"
Someone groaned. The scarf-kid.
"You didn't tell us."
I looked at him oddly, "i just did."
He groaned again. I tried not to smile.
Stiles just huffed, "okay wait, so what are you?"
"Geez, that's kinda personal, Stillinski. You didn't even take me to a dinner and a movie yet." I spat out sarcastically.
He huffed again, "I-wait-"
I smirked. Stiles was unsure what to say so he kept stuttering. "Wait are you-"
I chuckled, "Relax, Stiles." I sighed heavily, "I would tell you, but it sounds pretty scary. Maybe another time?"

Stiles just swallowed a lump in his throat.

"Do you have your own pack?" The coyote asked. Malia, I think.

I bit my lip, "Yeah." It's just most of them are dead and the ones alive are pissed at me.

"are they also in Beacon Hills?" Allison asked.

I gulped. "Some."

"Where are the others?"

"Oh you know...dead" oh shit, I didn't mean to say that out loud.

I just continued to eat.

"What happened?" Liam asked, startled.

"A jealous, angry, stupid pack of werewolves killed them." I took a drink of my water now, trying to avoid this particular conversation. Geez, I should probably learn to shut up once in awhile.

"I'm so sorry." Liam said.

I gulped. "It's..." What? Fine? No. It wasn't. They were dead because I was too naive and childish.

"It's not your fault." I said instead.

"Is that really why Theo was mad?" Liam asked.

"Well, kind of. He wanted me to come over so I can "catch up" on schoolwork, but that guy practically scream's bullshit so I told him I wanted nothing to do with him and kind of mentioned I knew what he was." I shrugged.

Scott looked at his pack in worry.

"Why?" I asked.

"He's a power-freak." Allison said.

"He killed off his own pack member to steal his powers." Liam started.

Stiles practically growled. "Basically, the guys a fucking ass."

I could tell there was a lot of history here.

"Well, then your welcome."

"For?" Stiles asked.

"For breaking his wrist."

"so? He'll heal." Liam said.

I smirked, "yeah. In a week. He can't heal that fast when...my kind harms a chimera."

"Oh." Was all that was said. I just smiled as the bell rang.

"Well, thanks for keeping me company i guess." I said, standing up. I looked at Stiles and gave him a playful wink, "if you need any help with the while Theo-situation, just ask."

At that, I made my way to class, leaving a shocked and confused pack behind me.
