Lucas's POV: We're currently listening to our lovely math teacher, the class is just 1 hour long but it feels like 10. In three days it's Jake's 18th birthday. We are planning something and we're going big! I mean he's the first of us to turn 18 so, as coach says: Go big or go home.

Jake: Dude my eyes are sooo heavy - he whispered

Lucas: Still 10 fucking minutes to go..

Lily: I think you meant only 10 minutes

Lucas: I meant still 10 minutes

Lily: So dramatic - I put my tongue out and she giggled

I saw a text from Rik. She said she got the guy's phone number. We heard there's a guy that has a huge house for parties and then we can rent a bunch of stuff, so we're talking to him.

Jake: Lunch afterwards?

Lucas: Can't man.

Jake: Got a hot date or something?

Lucas: Something like that - Lily looked back and smiled

Jake: Okay

Lucas: Why don't you the same and take your girl on a date?

Jake: Hm well thought - so easy, I thought - Babe - he whispered

Erika: What? - she said without looking

Jake: Babe

Erika: What Jake? - she said still writing something on her notebook

Jake:Baaaabe

Erika: What?! - she said a bit loud. The teacher looked back - Sorry - he kept writing on the board and talking and Rik death started us cause we were laughing - What is it?

Jake: Do you wanna go on a lunch date?

Erika: Sure - she looked back to the board

Jake: That's it? - she sighed then looked at him

Erika: Jake I'm trying to pay attention, so please shush

Jake: Jesus.. ok.. ok.. a guy can't even ask his girl out

Lucas: Unbelievable..

Jake: Right?

Lucas: So disrespectful..

Teacher: Disrespectful is when the students talk while the teacher is trying to teach class.

Lucas/Jake: Sorry - we chuckled and soon after the bell rang. We got our things and left. I took Lily to her favorite restaurant

Lily: You don't even like sushi that much

Lucas: I like sushi. But between sushi and a steak, I'll rather eat the steak.

Lily: Then we can-

Lucas: Stop worrying. Relax. - I parked the car, got out and went to the other side to get the door for her

Lily: Wow - I smiled and helped her out - Hey did Rik get the phone number?

Lucas: Yeah, I already have it

Lily: We could go talk to him after

Lucas: Alright

We had lunch it was really nice, we talked, all that couple things (lol). After lunch we got ice cream and then headed to the man's address. We got there and it was a building. We got in and there was a door with his name.

Lucas: Excuse me

Man: Come on in

Lucas: Hi. We're here to rent the house for a party

Man: Oh yeah, take a sit. I'm Dave

Lucas: I'm Lucas, this is my girlfriend Lily

Dave: Nice to meet you

Lily: You too

Dave: Well we have three houses. How many people are we talking about?

Lucas: Around 50/60

Dave: Ok, what's the picture?

Lucas: Swimming pool, big big backyard, grill, big living room, bar, game room... honestly something with an amazing outside area

He got his tablet, typed somethings then showed us a house. Big swimming pool, an amazing backyard with fireplace, grills, a bar and everything, a huge area with just grass, a hot tub, a big ass game room inside with ping pong table, snooker, some games, a nice living room.

Lucas: Well?

Dave: 2500$

Lucas: How long?

Dave: 10 hours

Lucas: Deal. - we shook hands

Dave: Well we have a few papers to sign and you just have to choose the date and that's it.

Lucas: Great.

We signed the papers, he gave us the key. We got out and I was excited.

Lily: Chill out boy - I chuckled

I texted Rik saying we got it. Lily started calling people, I called the crew, we already had a guest list kinda, we let everyone know, the address the hour and everything AND it was a surprise.
Luckily Jake's birthday is on a Saturday so it's even better.

We went back home, Lily wanted to watch a movie. I went upstairs changed to some comfy clothes then went back downstairs to find Jake and Rik

Jake: Sup?

Lucas: What are you doing here bro?

Erika: Movie night - she came in with a bag full of candy

Lucas: What?

Lily: Come on - I looked back and she had my sweatshirt popcorns and there were drinks on the table

Lucas: Alright

Rik poured all the candy on the table. We chose a movie and chilled. It was a scary movie so every now and then someone would flinch

Jake: Yo I was thinking we could go to the diner on my birthday, call the crew and stuff

Lucas: Yeah sounds good

Jake: Then some paintball, going to the lake or something like that

Lucas: Cool cool - Rik looked at me and smiled.

She was dying to tell him but at the same time she doesn't want him to know of course. What I know is that this is gonna be The party, I mean he's the first to turn 18, and well no one wants to go home so we're going big baby!
