The written test was quite easy. I knew majority of the answers, but before I could even think about the answers, the boy next to me would already have it.

Before I flipped over my paper, I made sure I left a few incorrect answers. I had enough for a passing grade, but not too much that I would be seen as a cheater, or even worse; A prodigy.

I set my pencil on top of my paper, patiently, waiting for the timer to run out. 12 more minutes, huh? I could take a quick power nap. I grabbed my germanium ring from my breast pocket and slipped it on my ring finger, my brain suddenly becoming silent.

My head gently fell on the desk, my violet eyes fluttering shut. I wrapped my arms around my head, caging myself in some sort of protective sleep dome.

I dreamt about my happy place, a small cozy cafe with unlimited desserts. Coffee jelly, Chocolate Mousse cakes, Tiramisu, Tres Leches cakes... The possibilities were endless! I began to stuff my face with the sweet treats, my heart swelling with happiness. Oh, how I never wanted to leave-

"HELLO U.A. CANDIDATES! THANKS FOR TUNING INTO ME, YOUR SCHOOL DJ!" I heard a loud voice, causing my head to instinctively shoot up from the desk. A few people around me stared with shock, making me feel awkward. "Crap."

Despite being an all powerful psychic, I couldn't help the human reaction I had, a soft pink blush of embarrassment gracing my cheeks. I hate it here already.

The announcer, Present Mic, began to introduce himself, encouraging the audience to make some noise. Unfortunately for him, it was completely silent.

"Oh my goodness, it's the voice hero, Present Mic! So cool!! I listen to his radio show every day of the week! It's so crazy how all the U.A. teachers are pro he-" The green haired boy began to rant, only for the blond boy next to him to interrupt. "Will you shut up?"

Thank you, blond boy, I was getting tired of him too. And hopefully the author will formally introduce me to the characters soon because I'm getting tired of referring to them as green boy and blond boy.

Anyways, Present Mic began to explain what we'll be doing for our practical and informing us that we would be split into different centers. I looked down at my form, reading "Battle Center B".

In the middle of explaining, a voice was heard in the crowd. "Excuse me sir, but I have a question." it was a blue haired boy, wearing glasses and a suit-like uniform. I perked up, glancing down at him as he continued to speak.

"On the print out, you listed four types of villains, not three. With all respect, if this is an error on official U.A. material, it is shameful. We are exemplary students and we-" I blocked him out after that, leaning back in my seat, he caught attention again though when he pointed back to the green haired boy.

"Additionally, you with the unkempt hair!" He pointed out, causing the boy next to me to jump with surprise. "You've been muttering this entire time, stop that." He went on. He was right though, his muttering was getting annoyi-

"And you with the pink hair next to him!" ...

What the fuck did I do?!

"Everybody heard your snoring during the written test. Sleeping during your entrance exams is completely unacceptable." He said to me. I couldn't help the slight face of shock and annoyance showing through my features, the people around me whispering.

"I didn't hear anything.." "He wasn't even snoring that loud.." "He was just taking a nap since he was finished.." some voices began to back me up.

"If neither of you can bother to take this seriously, leave. You're distracting the rest of us." He finished. Good grief, you're literally the only one complaining.. I couldn't help but sigh, watching the green boy muttered out an embarrassed "Sorry..."

Present Mic swept in to answer his question, gesturing for him to calm down. "Alright, alright, examinee no. 7111. Thanks for calling in with your request."

The energetic hero began to explain for him. "The fourth villain type is worth zero points! That guy's just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle center, think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid. I recommend my listeners try to ignore it and focus on the ones topping the charts!"

He began to wrap up the presentation, wishing us all good luck. When it was all finished, everyone began to get up and walk single file into the locker rooms where they would change into their athletic clothes.

I slipped on the pink tracksuit my mom bought me, in which her and my father have matching ones as well. I fixed my glasses and used some hair clips to keep my hair out my face, making sure everything was good before walking out. There were buses outside in the field, each of them labeled with the different battle centers. I walked around until I found the bus that was labeled 'B', getting on and sitting in the back.

Once again, I was one of the first few there, so I sat quietly. My eyes snapped open when the green haired boy sat next to me again.

"... Is pink your favorite color..?" He asked me, looking at my pink hair and tracksuit. Please stop talking to me, I don't wanna get roped into whatever mishaps you may bring.

I shot him another glare, making him jump with surprise. "S-sorry! It's just that.. You're so pink! You have a pink tracksuit suit, and pink hair and... I thought you may have dyed your hair pink because you like it so much!!" he began to ramble.

I sighed softly, giving him a thumbs up. He was confused, but soon understood. "You do like pink?" he asked softly, in which I nodded. I didn't actually like pink that much. It was a decent color, I just didn't want him to ask more follow up questions.

I fiddled with the germanium ring on my finger, slipping it off. "He seems cool... I should ask him if we could be friends!" NO.

I quickly turned away to the window, looking out of it to show that I didn't want to talk. Thankfully this made him back off. "Oh.. maybe he'd rather be alone right now... I hope everything is okay!" He thought, even scooting away from me a bit to give me space. Thank you green boy.

We all stood outside of the battle center, waiting for it to begin. I fiddled with my ring again, slipping it back on my finger. I felt a tap on my shoulder, making me turn around. The green haired boy looked in my eyes, smiling happily before saying, "Hey, I just wanted to wish you good luck before the practical."

I nodded at his words, giving him a small bow of appreciation. His smile seemed to widen at my gesture. "I'm gonna go thank that girl over there, she stopped me from falling outside today.. See ya!" He told me, waving bye and walking towards a brown haired girl.

Before he could get far, the same blue haired boy from before stopped him. "Looks like she's trying to focus on the trials ahead. What are you gonna do, distract her and ruin her chances to succeed?" The human rulebook said, making the smaller boy stammer.

"I just saw you speaking with that pink haired boy from earlier, are you two trying to cause trouble for your own benefits, or for a quick laugh?" STOP roping me into this!

I sighed with annoyance, walking away from them, and towards the gate. Suddenly, we heard Present Mic yell. "Hurry!! There's no countdowns and real battle!" that's when the gate began to open, every rushing through. I followed them inside, a city-like setting surrounding us.

Before we get into the action, I might as well give you some crucial info to this story.

I am an all powerful psychic and I have more powers than I can name on both hands and both feet, but average quirk users only have one ability. In order to not expose myself and gather unwanted attention, I have to stick with one ability, in which I chose telekinesis. Although telekinesis is one of the most basic of my abilities, it is a safe, simple, and a useful power in the hero world.

Of course, this will also limit my options while doing hero work since I'm limited to only one ability. This will also limit my communication to others because I usually communicate through telepathy, and I just don't really like talking.

Anyways, back to the story.

แจแจแจ“แจ“แจแจ

I ran into an alley, immediately faced with a 2 pointer robot. My eyes began to scan my surroundings before landing on a rock. I used my telekinesis to send it flying towards the robot, ripping a hole through the head of it. Once it fell, I kept some of the parts to use against the other villains.

While looking around, lots of other people had pretty unique quirks. Some guy literally had a laser coming out of his belly button.

Overall, I was able to quickly rack up 45 points. I felt like I got enough points, but didn't want to seem cocky to the others or to the judges, so I walked around and pretended try and find more.

Suddenly the ground began to tremble, screams of confusion being heard across the whole battle center. I walked back to see the zero pointer robot they were talking about. It was taller and larger than all the buildings here!

Majority of the students grouped up near the exit with fear, in which I joined. The zero pointer crushed all of the ground beneath it just with one step. How did they expect us to just ignore it?

I looked around and my eyes widened when I saw a girl stuck under the rubble, the zero pointer coming her way. My body froze with fear, my mind racing.

Come on Kusuo, don't just be some bystander anymore! You came to this exam so you could help people, and now you're gonna stand still?! GO!

I moved my foot to run, but once again, the green haired boy did it before me. He raced over to the zero pointer, propelling into the air and landing a huge punch right on the head of the zero pointer. The robot began to collapse, falling backwards into the rubble. He beat me to it again.

I let out an exhale I didn't notice I was holding, watching the robot fall, but I gasped again when I saw him falling. He was just falling. Why wasn't he doing anything?! I leaned forward, looking closer to see his limbs flailing around. Were they... were they broken?

He couldn't use his quirk to save himself.. He's gonna die. He's gonna die. I continued to look at him, my head spinning faster the closer he got to the ground.

"DON'T be a bystander, Kusuo. This is how people die! Don't be like those heroes that did nothing!" is what my brain said, and that's exactly what I did. Suddenly everyone else but the boy faded from my vision, my legs suddenly moving at an almost inhumane pace.

He was out of my telekinesis range, so I couldn't just use it and let him float down safely. He looked at my surroundings, seeing a large boulder. My eyes widened, shifting my weight and running towards it.

I jumped onto the boulder, using my telekinesis on it to propel myself into the air. The falling boy and I locked eyes, my arms gently reaching out and wrapping around his body. I held him in my arms bridal style, looking at the ground as it came closer and closer. Once my feet touched the ground, I skidded across the sidewalk until my back hit one of the buildings.

"...Ow." I said audibly. I was panting heavily, my arms going limp as the boy laid in my lap. My heart raced so fast, my eyes wide. I blinked my eyes slowly, looking down at him. I can't believe I just did that.

I cringed when I finally realized his state, looking at all his crushed limbs. He looked like a half empty container of toothpaste. That had to have hurt like hell.

I slowly stood up and carried him back towards the exit, all the students staring at me. I heard a few whispers talking about how amazing my save was and how I was hero material. I felt really exposed, not wanting all this attention, but I guess it came with being a hero.

I laid him on the ground, flopping on the ground and sitting beside him. It was quiet for a bit until a short old lady came by. I watched as she gave him a kiss, stunning me until his body began to heal at a rapid pace. All his bones came back intact and he looked as good as new. That is a crazy useful quirk..

I pointed to him and put up a thumbs up, asking if he was okay. He slowly looked over at me and nodded, instantly calming my nerves. I never cared about other people this much... It feels weird.

"Okay kid, you're gonna have to rest for a while." The nurse told him, the boy soon being carried away on a gurney.

He was okay... He didn't die... He's okay..

I flopped onto my back, letting out a sigh of relief. That was so stressful, it felt like my heart was gonna explode...

I need a nap.
