At time in france, manette got informations about the number. It was a man in goa. His name is vesnik. Manette did not have any idea of who was vesnik. later that night when lucie called manette and discued about both the cases and they found out vesnik was common on both the casses. so they mached his biodata and both mached too.

Vesnik, the fahter of sonia was the man who was been searched by both manette and lucie.then manette asked lucie to come to france because the case was over because the one who was the evidence died and they thought that vesnik can only move the case forward and he himself was not alive and they did not know how to move the case forward. but lucie said sonia and dannie were there. manette did not want lucie to invove on this case but lucie was adamant to take this case forward. manette than said you go forward but i am not going to come to goa until you stop investing in this case. lucie moved forward in this case which involved both the murder and defarge and beck. 

Week's passed on and lucie and charles did not find any clue to move forward.  Then they had lost contact with mr and mrs gomez. lucie tried to contact gomez but tthere was no reply. so they went to gomez house. they saw that mrs. gomez did not return home since than it has been two months. lucie asked gomez what had happened. than gomez said that magrette was a sister of my first wife pross. i divorsed pross before five years before my marriage with magrette. and john was born to me and pross. magrette was the wife of dannie and juillet was born to them i was compelled to marry magrette because i was been blackmailed by pross for my corruption. magrette needed a man to act as her husband before the society because dannie wanted to marry sonia. magrette and dannie planeed to cheat sonia and her father vesnik for money.

Vesnik was been cheated by dannie that he has a company of his own and he was in love with his daughter sonia and wanted to marry her. magrette knew that dannie will cheat sonia for her money and she thought that dannie will be back with her leaving sonia alone after getting her properties in his name. vesnik knew that dannie was already married but wanted to marry his daughter sonia to dannie.

Why did pross wanted to marry magrette to you? asked charles. pross actual thought that john would be taken care by magrette well and pross wanted to live a happy life without any responsibility in life. 

Lucie asked were magrette and juillet were. gomez answered that lucie went on a night party that night and she did not return home. i did not want to take any affort to find her.
