Manette, attends the funeral of lucie. angrily, manette goes to the police station to find some help. the police closed the case because  the criminal was magrette and she died.

Manette was not conivinced with the statements given by the police. he wanted to find were pross and juillet were. he went to gomez's house to find weather there were any evidencce to help him. but he found nothing. then he went to france along with charles.

Pross than answered that it was a game played by magrette and dannie to grab the money from sonia and vesnik. after a long break sonia and vesnik attened the case against pross. manette wanted to know why was defarge murdered in the case. the investigation began in the court.
