Y/N

(E/c) stared at the marble ground, a bored sigh escaped her lips as she played with her fingertips. She was bored, so bored that she have nothing else in mind. Ignoring the fact  that she's inside a small room, with a makeshift bed, bucket and separated by a cell.

Just when I thought I'll have my fun, those scums just had to ruin it. She grumbled, glaring at the floor then to the cold metal chains keeping her in place.

Y/n being notorious of being a troublemaker and trickster around the village was caught after she stole a 3DMG from a drunk Military male for the 10th time.

Punish for her own faults, she was told to stay in the night on the cell to think over what she's done. And in all honesty, she regretted nothing. Every moment were worth it, she even learned without anyone's help. She almost went as far as flying over the wall just to see what the Titans looked like and was confident enough to even take one down.

The latter didn't end well as it was the reason she was inside the cell at the moment. And the worse part has yet to come as she heard the earth-shaking scream of no one else's but her mother.

"Y/N L/N!" She know she was in deep trouble by the fact her mother called her by her whole name as she looked up with a sweat prickling down her forhead to see the dangerous look coming from her mother, Phoebe L/n.

"You, have no idea how foolish you've acted this time!" The mother gritted as she glared at the blank look of her daughter, but she could see the fear dancing around those (e/c) orbs.

"I'm sorry for the trouble, Mr. Markins" her father, Thimoty L/n said to the officer who waved him off before opening the cell. Quickly the fuming mother stomped forward and hoist Y/n by her ears as she grunts in pain.

"Do you have any idea how dangerous your stunt this time? You leaped forward to those man-eating baboons!" Her mother hissed pinching her ears tighter as Y/n winced in pain.

"I was only trying to see up close! I know how to use the 3DMG quite well!" She hissed back to her mother, ignoring the stinging pain on her ears. Phoebe scoffs on her daughter's reply as she felt relief seeing she was alright.

She knew Y/n has always been a curious and adventurous child. But she never expect for her daughter to take a leap of fate outside the walls itself!

"You're only 18 and inexperienced for Rose sakes, Y/n. You're still a rookie and don't have much experience outside the wall. You could have been gobbled up first thing when you jumped!" Thimoty scolded lightly smacking her head as Y/n grunts.

"I didn't wasted 6 years of my life trying to master combat and the 3DMG" she grumbled before letting out a hiss when she felt the pressure on her ears tighten.

"And you kept this from me." Her mother growled as the colors were drained on her face. She looked up and sweatdropped to see the menacing look at the woman.

Ah.. crap. She thought in defeat as she felt she was grabbed by the back of her collar and slowly dragged out of the cell when she was free off the chains.

Y/n looked at her father pleadingly who only facepalm at her attempts. Sighing as she accepted her fate and prepared herself from the wrath of her own mother.

She let the enrage mother dragged her out of the building as she ignored the curios gaze of the town's people. She didnt really care as some of them already knew she's done something bad since it wasn't the first time this happened.

Although their home was a little far away from here, she was gonna enjoy a few more breaths before she face her mother's wrath.

"Look! The Scout Regiments have arrived!" She heard from the distance as she quickly snapped her head over to see the gate opened and the well known regiment she aspired walk forward with grace.

She squirmed at her mother' grip, which her mother tighten her hold on the process. She wanted to see them since she failed to see them off yesterday after she was inside the cell the whole time.

Digging her feet to the ground, in an attempt to slow her mother's big strides. She raised her head, looking at them as she tried to see in a better angle. In a glimpse, she saw them.

Nothing seemed to change, the down and depressing look in their face was still there but unlike before their numbers didn't seemed to waver. Meaning there were only a few casualties outside the walls, she internally smiled at that small victory as she watch their every move.

Captain Erwin still held his head high up as his face was stoic. He ignored the whispers and chatters of those ungreatful people which was inspiring on Y/n's part. Her eyes landed to the genuis female with glasses not far behind the Commander. Hange Zoe, the female she wanted to level her intelligence with.

Her eyes then landed to the last person. By just the frown of his face, he almost look as if his old. But since his young and attractive features, it looks like its his permanent face. She never seen him around. Usually she only see Commander Erwin and Hange and a few more important people with them.

A newbie, perhaps? Y/n thought with a raised brow. Maybe she was too busy gaping at eye brows and glasses that she didn't see him? He is short afterall.

Her ears then overheard the conversation of the people they walked by.

"That kid.."

"His small.."

"Yeah, his Humanity's Strongest from what I heard."

"Well it seems like the corpse decreased since he joined. He gave good contribution to those useless scums."

"Don't speak too loudly, they might hear you."

"Or what? I can top him off with my size. His just a midget." The man brags confidently.

"Yeah, he can take down a titan, I dont see the complications if he'll take you down." Y/n pipes in coldy, as the two males look over to her in surprise as her mother hissed at her to shut up and dragged her away from the crowd.

For a moment, she thought he saw his steel gaze landed to her. It didn't shocked her as she blinks for a moment before ears were now filled by her mother's lesson. But all those words went passed Y/n's ears as she stares at their fading figures.

She longed atleast once see the other side, slay those titans and eventually stand the ground proudly like they do. When she first learned about the outside world after reading a bunch of books about it. She was quickly mesmerized, she wanted to see it.

The endless cycle of life there, the trees that shows far more better views, the life that might be awaiting on that side. She wanted to explore it, she wants to fight each and every last titan just to see that side before she collapse. She wanted to feel that freedom without the walls caging her in, without being cautious of those naked monsters.

But it seems like that ideal dream is too far fetch. She knows that, the books were the once making her feel as if its possible. The reason why she trained alone and gain her strength, she wants to venture outside the walls.

Humanity's Strongest, huh? She thought her face falling blank as she sighed, her eyes now staring at the sky.

I wonder what it feels like, If I'll be one as well?

Am I able to step outside as well?

Later that day, Y/n dealt with alot of screaming, arguing and complications as trying to calm down a distress mother seem far more scary than approaching a Hungry titan.
