~11 Arrival ~☆

"V."

Soft brown eyes eyes shot up as an older professional-looking person had walked into the lobby. The young man scrambled to his feet, bowing his head quickly.

"Yes, PD?"

The man had sat down in a chair across from him, as 'V' had sat down once again. "Great job on that last stage. I'm very proud of you boys." The younger boy felt a large smile approach his lips as he nodded. "Thank you. I'm so grateful that you gave me the opportunity to work with them."

The man had chuckled, setting his folded hands against his lap. "Are you getting used to your stage name at all?"

"A bit. I guess I'm just so used to everyone calling me Taehyung."

"_____!"

You turned to see a group of younger trainees run towards you, grinning ear-to-ear to ear. You smiled softly as a young girl with pigtails that you've come to be acquainted with immediately hugged you.

"_____! Is it true? Are you really debuting? Why didn't you tell us?"

Five years ago, you probably would have laughed at how silly that idea was. However, you had talked to the C.E.O a few months ago and was assigned to a group of other experienced trainees that you felt you all could grow very close to. You were already done learning choreography and singing the song in the studio, all that was left was the music video shooting.

AURORA; 6 members. You were the leader- everyone had agreed. You were the most experienced and had trained the longest. Discussions about your stage name made you wonder what it should be. Part of you wanted it to just stay as your name- you didn't need to be a product name. However, you also wanted there to be more meaning into what your stage name may be.

You shook your head at the thoughts that ran through your mind as you hugged the small girl back, before pulling away and gently pushing her pigtail to the side. "Luckily, I am! I know you will too one day. Just keep training." You poked her nose and she smiled at her little group of friends, before turning back to you and waving. "We'll leave you alone- we promise to train well, unnie! Work hard!" She chimed as they all skipped off laughing and chatting together.

With a quick chuckle, you walked off in thought, not quite sure where you were going. You stuffed your hands into your sweater pockets as you found yourself stopping by a wide window and admiring the cloudy day outside and the bare branches of winter. You wondered if it'd rain.

Rain.

You really did love the rain.

These thoughts distracted you from the memory of a certain someone, who had raced you to a restaurant on a day just like this. It had been a few years, and you couldn't forget. Five years later, and you admit that you still miss Kim Taehyung.

"_____? Is that you?"

You shot around to see a slightly smaller girl with curly honey-blonde hair. You recognized her as Phailin, though due to her culture, she was much more comfortable with people just calling her 'Lin.' She was supposed to be the main rapper of AURORA. You had accidentally called her Phailin one time and she awkwardly explained how people rarely used their first names in Thailand, and you caught on fast. You shook off another set of thoughts, and smiled gently at her. "Hey, Lin!"

Her eyebrows furrowed as a small frown took over her features. "Your eyes are red and your cheeks look wet."

You were crying, and you hadn't realized it. Your face flushed as you quickly wiped off your cheeks and eyes, looking away. "Ah.. I think I'm getting sick-" Your statement was interrupted by her hand resting on your shoulder. "(Y/N)...I'm here for you, okay? I'm really scared but...I know this is new for all of us, and our lives are about to change. However, I know this is the start of a wonderful new family and friendship."

A small smile graced your features as you pulled her in for a gentle hug. "Thank you, Lin." She chuckled as she hugged back. "Don't worry. Hey, we need to get ready for the shoot! I told Hayun and Mikyung to wait for me until I find you- June and Meisa are already getting ready because they got a bit impatient. Who wouldn't be?"

You quickly nodded, linking arms with her quickly before running off to the dressing rooms. You heard that you were going to be flying to Hongdo, where you were filming on the beach, around the city, and the lighthouse, so you were just getting styled for the first shoot and changing and doing makeup there. It wasn't long before you got there, knocked on the door, and were practically trampled by the two waiting girls Lin had mentioned earlier.

Hayun was a very tall yet feminine girl, with long light brown waves reaching her elbows, square bangs, and very long eyelashes- She was the lead dancer, and you weren't surprised when she got that position. You knew she had done ballet and contemporary dance classes for years, and it showed. Mikyung was much shorter compared to Hayun, and her doe-like eyes and pouty lips is what you're sure made her visual. Her thin almond-toned hair was tucked behind her ears and swayed as she clung to Lin's arm tightly. "Where were you guys?"

You tipped your head slightly with a sheepish smile. "Sorry. I just had some thinking to do." Hayun smiled at you, ruffling your hear. Although you were the leader, you were still younger and much shorter than Hayun, to her liking and to your dismay. "Just a few more weeks and there'll be no time to think about much." She teased a bit as you pouted.

"Ah whatever-" You shook your head and chuckled. "Are Meisa and June done yet?" You asked, tilting your head a bit. Mikyung shrugged a bit, opening the door. "If by done you mean arguing about whether or not crop tops suit them or not, yes."

Meisa and June were very opinionated, but still very close. As Mikyung opened the door, you were met with June trying her best to pull down the crop top without ruining it as Meisa rolled her eyes. "You look fine, June."

June was a foreigner from Australia with gorgeous toned skin and curly hair, and you knew she was very serious about her career, but almost just as self-conscious. Meisa was also foreign, she came from Tokyo, Japan, and she claims that she often doesn't deserve what she has and that it was all handed to her due to having a rich family, but you always told her that she doesn't give herself enough credit.

Overall, you knew this was your new family, and the story was just beginning.
