Tarot- Valdemar

You were wandering around the castle late last night due to your insomnia. You never sleep very well and you tend to wander. You go on like this for awhile, just you walking the long dark halls and searching the endless rooms of the castle. You search until you run right into someone's chest, the impact making you lose your balance and topple over on to the cold floor. Peering up you see Valdemar with no mask on. 'How did I not sense their presence' you question to yourself. "Hm let's get you off the ground shall we" Valdemar says while pulling you up. "Now why are you wandering the halls so late at night hmm?" "Well you see I almost never sleep so I figured why not explore....see what I can find" you explain, voice dying off towards the end. "I see well would you like to join me in the dungeons?" Valdemar questions with their signature wicked smile, showing all of there razor sharp teeth. "HA HA no thank you I would rather keep all my limbs." "What a pity... then if you won't join me I will simply join you." Your a bit taken back by their statement 'join me, why?' "I simply want a tarot reading" they explain further. With wide eyes your response is "You want a what now!?" "You heard me, I want a Tarot reading that is all" they say with mild irritation laced in there tone. "Well then...follow me." You and Valdemar take off towards your room.
"Here we are, now just take a seat over by the window" the statement you say being more of a command. Valdemar slowly steps into the room and looks around at everything while you get your cards. They finally sit by the window like requested. "Ok let's begin" you shuffle the cards a bit. (A/n sorry if I totally mess this Tarot reading up I'm no professional, I'm just going to do a quick google search to get the gist of it. Thanks!) "Now pick three cards" you explain. They respond with a slight hum. They pick three cards and you slowly flip them over one by one. The first one being "The Hanged Man Reversed" (Meaning: stalling, needless sacrifice, fear of sacrifice) "Next up is The Chariot" (Meaning: lack of control, lack of direction, aggression) "Last but not least The Magician Upright" (Meaning: willpower, desire, creation, manifestation) "Hmm very interesting" Valdemar mumbles then stands up. "Well it's been a long night for both of us, you should try getting some sleep. I wish you a good night" and they quickly leave the room. "Interesting indeed" you think aloud.

A/n: sorry this ones kind of short!
