"Technically Aruji sent a team of tantous and wakizashis as the main power..."

Atsushi said as he turned to look at Juzumaru who stood at the side, looking up for the stars.

"But why did she send you here... I don't get what Aruji is thinking..."

"You're really mean, Atsushi. I am also a tachi, don't just tell Juzumaru off." Fellow tachi Mikazuki stepped in and spoke for him. The tantou then went off to scout for the enemy's formation.

"Thank you for your help, Mikazuki."

"Ha ha ha, it's nothing. We are among the 'Tenka Goken' after all. I wonder when will Onimaru, Otenta and Dojikiri come back..."

"They will come, surely." 

Just after Juzumaru assured the old man, Horikawa shouted, jumping down from the roof and taking his blade out from the sheath.

"We are being found out! Long range attacks are incoming!" 

"R-Retreat!" Atsushi commanded while the old man and the monk stepped in.

"Don't fret." Blades were unsheathed, ready to cut down anything incoming.

What happened next was arrows being slashed into pieces as the tachis wielded their sword. The rest were awed at first, but soon it disappeared, turning into scoldings.

"See? Tachis still have a value in night battles~"

"Your armory is almost worn out! Step behind, we'll handle it!" Maeda rebutted at the old man's statements, and dragged the two long swords behind themselves, forming a barricade as enemies appeared.

"Let's go!"

"Yeah!!"

One enemy was cut down each time, increasing the chances for them to win the battle. However there were two more enemies left, and the others weren't fast enough to attack first. As the enemy was about to cut the sword down, the tachi stepped in.

"You idiot! Stand back-"

"I can't let the enemy cut you down, so I'll protect everyone." A swift slash was made, making the enemy lose the grip on the sword. Bringing the sword up, the monk slashed down again, defeating the enemy. The old man also did likewise, securing a victory. 

"We.. won."

Atsushi then let out a sigh of relief before checking on the others for any serious injuries. Fortunately no one got injured, except Sayo who lost his troops.

"Thank you.. Jiji and Juzu."

Both of them gave their smiles towards the rest, before the old man knelt on the ground suddenly.

"...! Mikazuki-san, are you alright?!" Horikawa hurriedly came closer and knelt down, checking on him. But there wasn't any injury found, and no scratches or cracks on the blade as well. 

"I-I didn't have my dinner... and my armory is completely worn out... Hahaha.."

"YOU IDIOTIC OLD MAN! LET'S GO BACK!!"

Afterwards the master was told off by captain Atsushi for including two tachis in his team, in which he got told off by Hasebe later for being so rude to his master.
