then her eyes opened wide and she sat up quickly trying to catch her breath she spoke between breaths "sweet pea?" she heard shuffling and her head snapped into the direction of the rustling and it was sweet pea moving towards her , held her hand and put it on her shoulder and said "hey slow down whats up?" she shook her head and held it with her other hand "what happened?" he sighed as he pulled the chair next to her hospital bed and layed his head on her legs "penny carved out half your tattoo and hit a main artery you almost died" she stroked his head as she laid back and closed her eyes "i had this crazy vision and you were in it" she felt him smile on her leg "oh yeh what was i doin" she carried on stroking his hair "you found someone else and started a family with them". he sat up and laid on the bed so he was cuddling into her right side and looked up at her "you know i'd never do that to you your the only girl i wanna start a family with" she nodded "i know baby i know" she looked around and remembered and suddenly became distressed

"wheres jughead i need to see him please tell me he isn't dead" sweet pea shook his head no he's ok he's just in a coma we can go see him if you want?" she nodded as she saw the wires attached to her arm . sweet pea got up and walked out the room but was soon back with a wheelchair for his love they hooked up all the wires to the wheelchair and she attempted to get up but began to fall but was soon caught by the familiar strong arms hugging her and placing her into the chair and she thanked him and he started pushing her to jugheads ward "wow your really living up to your name huh?" he hummed a laugh as they got to the room that was empty apart from her dad and brother she looked up at her boyfriend and asked

"could you wait outside for me please?" he nodded and said "tell jones i said get well " she smiled slightly "thank you" she said as she wheeled herself weakly carefully trying not to rip out her iv she moved to her dad who was sleeping in a chair she just sat watching her brother and stared at the state of him messing with her bare fingers as tears slipped down her face

then jughead woke up abruptly but was restricted by all the wires attached to him including oxygen he faintly said "dad" and Fp woke up immediately "Jug." Celestia's smile grew as she sat watching they called in a nurse and sat him up as he began to speak for the first time in a while

"What did I miss?"celestia sat in her wheel chair and raised her eyebrow "yeh what did i miss?" to which Fp replied" What you two did brought every Serpent I've ever known out of the woodwork and you would've been proud of 'em, kids It looked like we were gonna win the day, but in the end there were just just too many Ghoulies. It was like shooting snakes in a barrel."

"so thats where sweet pea must have gone" celestia muttered to herself but jughead replied worried "Why? Why did you go?" fp looked between his kids "I wanted to avenge you."

"I had an agreement with Hiram Lodge." he argued back Fp looked at his daughter "and what about you did you surrender yourself to the likes of hiram lodge" she shook her head "no well yeh because i couldn't let jughead go into this blindly on his own he's my brother and family stick together" he nodded "There was no stopping the others.They were churned up about you and Fangs Even though Fangs is He's alive."

celestia let a gasp and a little squeal "Fangs is alive? But I thought A deputy called you and told you he was dead."fp smiled at her "Yeah, that was a lie." jughead scoffed "A ploy, you mean. To goad the Serpents into a fight they couldn't win.All of riot night was a Hiram Lodge orchestrated mousetrap. And the Serpents followed me right into it."

Fp sighed "Sunnyside Trailer Park fell, and while our trailer's still standing, most of them burned.Jug, after the rumble, some of the Serpents defected, they They joined the Ghoulies, others were arrested.More went into hiding, the rest, they They left town.The Serpents, they don't exist anymore.We had our time.Nothing for you to do but to get better.And to be there for Betty."

celestia's eyes began to water as she hauled herself from the chair and walked out slamming the door in the process sweet pea was leaning on a wall and pushed off of it and ran to her "celestia whats up? your way too weak to be slamming doors" she cried as she tried to walk but collapsed into his arms a sobbing mess into his chest he picked her up and carried her back to her room then proceeded to put her on the bed as she clung on to his neck she whispered "please don't leave me " he wrapped his arms back around her and sat on the bed

"don't worry i'm not going anywhere" she nodded as she wiped her eyes and let go of him "i just wanna go home" he shook his head "well the doctor said he wants to keep an eye on you for the rest of the night then if you heal well you'll be able to go home" she nodded as she opened her arms to her boyfriend he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her and sat back on the bed she yawned over his shoulder "lay with me please?" he nodded and took off his jacket after she had released him from her tight grip he layed down next to her and she cuddled into him as she looked up "i love you sweet pea" he smiled as he kissed her head "i love you too" she soon drifted into a deep sleep

a lot later the girl was awoken by someone gently shaking her body her eyes flew open and she grabbed whoever's arm it was touching she looked to see who it was and it was her mother Celestia snarled "what do you want?" as she released her mothers arm she retracted it quickly nursing her wrist

"i'm here to see my daughter" the girl scoffed "i don't wanna see you at least not at the moment" her mother sighed "please Celestia just stop this i want you to come home " the girl replied "i want you to get out before i have to call the nurse to have you escorted" she yelled as she pressed the button next to her and waved "good bye mom i'll see you soon" as two security guards came and got her mother

the girl sighed as she relaxed into her bed just as sweet pea came in with a khaki duffel bag with rose gold zippers Celestia smiled "is that mine?" he nodded as he handed it to her she unzipped it to reveal a whole new set of clothes with new sneakers she smiled widely as she sat up more "you know i've wanted these sneakers for agessss

" he smiled as she kissed his cheek while he sat on the side of the bed next to her "so why have i got this new outfit?" he shrugged as she looked at her "oh i don't know maybe because your going home today"

she gasped "i thought we had to wait until tomorrow" he shook his head "well the doctor said he's happy for you to go home today" she smiled as she tried to get off the bed "in that case i better get dressed outta this horrendous hospital gown " she began undressing from her previous clothes and into her new ones while her boyfriend watched he walked around the bed and behind his girlfriend and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck as she buttoned up her shorts

"sweet stoppppp" he chuckled lightly as he let go while she put on her top that covered her gauze covered wound she winced as her bra strap hit it she sat down and put her hand by her chest sweet pea put his hand on her shoulder concerned "you good?" she smiled as she tried not to show her pain "yeh just my bra strap is all" he nodded as he continued to talk to her while she sat on her bed until the doctor came in

"Celestia jones i assume?" she nodded "your assumption would be correct " he hummed a laugh "well we're happy for you to go home but you have to come back if you get even the slightest pain " she nodded in agreement "actually my bra strap is rubbing against it" the doctor raised an eyebrow "well take it off once we've gone i just need you to sign your release paper right here and then we have you pain medication " he handed her the small pill bottle and she signed where he needed her to then left the room

sweet pea was sat in the corner smirking she smirked back "what ?" "just that my girlfriend is going without a bra " she laughed as she lift her top up and undid her bra and slid it from her shoulders and threw it into her duffel bag "good thing my shirt is over sized" she said as she zipped up the bag and began checking if she had left anything then walking to the door with her bag on her shoulder on the right side as she looked back "you comin or what?" he nodded and got up "where are you going?" "to see my baby brother thats where " as she carried on down the hall until she got to her brothers room

she pushed it open to find him lying there with betty next to him he looked up to see his sister and he raised an eyebrow "where are you going?" she smiled "i'm going home what about you?" he looked annoyed now "what thats not fair my wounds were less fatal then mine " she laughed "don't get jealous jug" he smiled slightly she adjusted her bag "i just came to say goodbye until you come home" he smiled "i'll see you there then" she turned around and walked out the room "bye betty see you soon " she walked up to sweet pea and walked out of the hospital to the car she had been bought by her father but sweet pea insisted on driving so he did until they got to the trailer where they sat talking for a few hours catching up on what they had missed

sweet pea stared at his girlfriend for a little too long because she noticed and questioned him "what are you staring at?" he snapped from his trance and smiled "you" she shook her head "why?" "because no matter what life has thrown at you these past few months you've managed to get through them and stay strong i'm so proud of you" tears began to well up in his eyes she laughed as she pulled his head into her lap and stroked his hair "stop crying and going mushy" he laughed slightly "i could've lost you Celestia i'm never gonna let that happen again i'm going to protect you with my life" she smiled as she was thinking about things in general then she stood up and got her phone as she called someone she went to her bedroom

"hello malachai" he smirked on the other side of the line "what a nice surprise cousin what are you wanting?" she sighed "i wanna see you just for a little while because i don't know when i'm going to see you next with this war between us " he thought for a minute then hummed "i understand i will meet you tonight at the metaphorical tracks in ten minutes " she nodded "on our own yeh mali" he nodded "of course i won't bring anyone if you don't" "i won't" he replied "i will see you soon young cousin" she laughed "i'm older than you" he laughed as they hung up

the girl began getting dressed but not without sliding a knife into her sock and a gun into her waistband but just as she finished she looked into the mirror and saw sweet pea stood with a puzzled look on his face "where are you going?" she shrugged as she put on her serpent jacket "out" he growled as he stood in the doorway blocking her from getting out "tell me where your going " she sighed "to meet juggy" he shook his head as she tried to get around him "your lying" she sighed as she said "ok sweet pea if you say so please just let me past" he crossed his arms she sighed again as she yelled "just get out the fucking way sweet pea!" he looked at her surprised but stayed in his stance "no" he said simply she flipped him off and turned around and headed to the window and began climbing out "fuck you" she said as she jumped down

he ran out the trailer and grabbed her arm pulling her into him "get the fuck off sweet pea i can't be fucked with this" he wouldn't let go as she just stood there getting more and more pissed off she managed to wriggle out from his grip and continued walking as he walked next to her trying to stop her "i said i'd protect you so thats what i'm doing" she glared at him "i am going just leave me alone i'll be back soon" he shook his head and hummed "no i'm going with you" she sighed as she turned around and pushed him back so hard he stumbled "back the fuck up you idiot" and with that she walked out of the trailer park and to the set meeting point

she approached the figure waiting patiently for her she called out to him "hey malachai you fucker" he turned around and smiled "hello Celestia" he said as they hugged for a few moments "malachai listen you know i love you but i don't wanna be a part of this war anymore its really getting to me" she said as she pulled away "i love you too but i can't help this we're the ones getting paid and we need the money but i promise you now i will make sure you don't get hurt my cousin mark my words you have already been hurt enough" she smiled as she hugged him again tears began to fall down her face he heard her sniff as he pulled back "hey no theres no need to cry everything is going to be ok family stick together" he wiped her eyes as she smiled and looked down "i wish it was like it was when we were kids when we all got together and were a family" he hummed "we still can" she sighed "except it can't because of all this fighting but maybe one day

he nodded as she began to walk away but not before shouting "yano you shouldn't have got mixed up with those snakes you should've been with your own kind the ghoulies" she sighed as she shouted back "pretty hard when your dad is the king of the serpents and your dating one hey but maybe in another life mal" he laughed "until we meet again my Celestia" she smiled with her back turned still "until we meet again my malachai" and with that she walked back to her home where sweet pea waited

"i want answers now the truth where did you go?" she sighed "i went to go see malachai alright are you happy now" he growled out again "you did fucking what?" she walked into her room and got undressed then layed down "this is why i didn't tell you" she got comfortable as sweet pea got in bed next to her "hell yeh i would he's from our rival gang why did you go see him?" she replied "he's my cousin ok are you happy now can we just stop i just wanna sleep " she rolled to face him as she fell asleep slowly he cuddled into her and said "i'm sorry baby i shouldn't have gotten mad at you like that she nodded "me too i'm sorry" she sleepily said as they both fell asleep "wait so malachai is your cousin?" she sighed and hummed sleepily "yes my mom's sister is my aunty and malachi is my cousin

the next day she was back at school and currently sat on a desk next to sweet pea as jughead read out the news he had found out along with toni in the room as well " So this is how it ends, huh? Not with a whimper, but with a memo from Weatherbee." Celestia looked at him confused "what are you on about jug" toni answered for him "Riverdale High is now suddenly overcrowded.So, starting next week, all former Southside High students will be bussed to Seaside High, - which is two hours away." Celestia gasped and muttered "for fuck sake can this get any worse " sweet pea then spoke "Meaning, he blames us for trashing the school during riot night."

jughead looked away and said "Well, to be fair, Sweet Pea, you did." Celestia giggled to herself at her brothers comment sweet pea sighed as his girlfriend hugged him "What's our play, Jones? Do we have one?" jughead replied " I don't know anymore, guys.I can't keep fighting for a gang that doesn't exist." Celestia looked at him "jughead their your family" toni then replied "Well, what about us? Or any of the other Serpents at the Wyrm?" "What Serpents at the Wyrm? jughead and Celestia said at the same time

they soon travelled to their destination and were shocked by the scene in front of them of serpents scattered and ill "I don't understand." toni sighed "You saw what the Ghoulies did to most of Sunnyside." sweet pea then spoke "A lot of Serpents couldn't afford to leave Riverdale. So we came here." "Does our dad know about this?" Celestia said and they stayed silent they rushed out and to their dads remaining trailer

"since when are you drinking again, Dad?" Celestia said as she walked through the door with jughead following he replied with " Oh, I am celebrating the fact that I'm no longer Hiram Lodge's busboy.He fired me from Pop's today.He's cleaning house.Getting rid of the stragglers."

jughead replied "Well, he's a bastard." "you got that right" his sister muttered "Yeah." jughead looked at his dad and said "Who cares? We have work to do.Why'd you lie to me? You told me the Serpents don't exist.They're at the Whyte Wyrm and they need our help." Fp looked at him and said "No, what they need is to cut bait, get out while they still can.Now, I wasn't lying when I said that it was over, Jug.Well, it is time, boy." jughead furrowed his brows "What are you talking about?" fp sighed " It is time to skip town." Celestia looked at him "wow thanks dad your leaving me here" jughead disagreed "I'm not going anywhere." their father replied to jughead "You bet your ass you are.Toledo.I already told your mom." jughead argued back "No, I'm not leaving Betty.We are not abandoning the Serpents."

fp then yelled "I will not be standing over a body bag with you zipped up in it.We're moving to Toledo.But pack light, we're only taking the bikes." Celestia rolled her eyes "gee thanks dad i really appreciate you taking me with you " she remarked sarcastically he glared at her "you can go back to your mom on the northside its safer there " she let out a scoff "nah i'll just stay with sweet pea" and with that she stormed out the trailer "great parent and to think i thought you were better than mom but your just the same" she shouted as she walked into sweet peas trailer where he was no where to be found

she slammed the front door and groaned as she went into their shared room and slumped onto the bed where she mumbled into her pillow until she fell asleep until she was woken up by her phone ringing she abruptly woke up while still having her eyes closed she felt around for her phone and pressed the answer button and yawned while saying hello

"hello?" "Celestia we need you down at the wyrm please its urgent" she became more awake and scrambled to her feet slipping on some shoes "why?" sweet pea replied "i'll explain later just hurry ok" she began to run as they were still on the phone "i'll see you in a minute ok sweet" he sighed "slow down and be careful Celestia your stitches could come undone" she laughed "i'm fine i'm outside now anyway " and as she hung up the phone and pushed open the door as the remainder of the serpents looked around most in distress but they calmed down after they realised who it was she ran up to her boyfriend and hugged him "what do you want me here for then?"

he sighed as he shook his head "we have to get the serpents out because hiram is gonna raid this place any minute" she scoffed "of course he is i suppose we better get these guys outta here wheres jughead?" "i'm here" a voice came from behind her she turned around and hugged him "hey sweet pea just caught me up on the plan lets get going" he nodded but Celestia noticed something odd "what are you doing here archie? cheryl?" archie hugged her "we're here to help the serpents" she smiled as jughead hollered at the serpents to follow them

they made their way out just in time as police cars began to show up Celestia held archie's hand for comfort as sweet pea had a bag in his hand they all began running as they came through a clearing from the woods they all walked until jughead and his sister stopped and looked around to where the sirens were coming from archie put his hand on the jones siblings shoulders and said "don't look back jug" and they continued walking as Celestia grabbed sweet pea's hand and kissed it as she caught up to jughead and walked next to him she looked at him and asked "where to brother?" he smiled faintly "archie's house" she looked at him surprised and ran to archie from behind and jumped on his back and kissed his cheek over and over then whispered "thank you" he nodded as she jumped down and carried on walking to his house which took a small amount of time

but as soon as they got there they were greeted by fred andrews who had blankets and pillows set around the rooms ready for the serpents to rest their weary heads but there was only limited space so Celestia had an idea and ran to her house and proceeded to knock on the door a few moments later her mother answered the door "oh...uh..Celestia what are you doing here?" her daughter smiled "i'm here to ask a favour and if you do i'll move back here and forgive you please just do me this" he mother walked out further and shut the door behind her to stop the dogs from getting out "yeh anything sweetie" she said as she rubbed Celestia's arm the girl looked behind her and sighed "i need you to put up some of the serpents for the night hiram sent the cops to the wyrm they've lost everything"

her mother thought for a minute as sweet pea came up behind Celestia and hugged her waist and kissed the top of her head as she hugged his arms her mother looked at her strangely "of course the serpents can stay but who is this handsome stranger?" Celestia rolled her eyes playfully and looked up to her boyfriend and smiled back at her mom "mom this is my boyfriend sweet pea this is my mom" they awkwardly waved at each other "so your the one who's been sneaking into my house these past two years " he blushed then let out a small laugh "yep looks that way" Celestia then spoke "well i'm gonna go tell the guys they can come over here

they all nodded and the couple walked back across the street hand in hand and she shouted through out the house "half the serpents can go to the house across the street it belongs to my mother luna your all more than welcome to head over there " a few serpents stood and walked over where they were greeted by their old gang member and eventually everyone settled down and Celestia led sweet pea to her house and to her room where they all slept soundly until the morning

when morning hit everyone was in action fred and 'luna' cooking all sorts of foods for the famished serpents to eat at some point the couple had made their way over to fred's where the majority of everyone was they were met by jughead ,archie, fred and of course her dad she stood hugging herself "hey dad , mr andrews" she politely spoke

just as everyone finished talking "Hey.Thank you. You came through for me." jughead spoke gratefully to archie Celestia smiled as she hugged him "thank you my blood brother" archie smiled "I'm not done yet.How many of these Serpent jackets do you think we can borrow?" Celestia's eyes lit up "oh my god i knew this day would come i know exactly the right place and with that the three went to the location of which the serpent jackets were made and grabbed as many as she could "how do you know about all these jackets c?" she smiled as she loaded her old car with boxes of jackets in all sizes she waved the keys "well i did help stock them soooo yano"they all laughed and got in the car and headed to the school where they handed out the jackets to anyone attending the school

"this is the best idea yet archie andrews" she said as she handed him the last of the serpent jackets he smiled as thy walked into the school all in a group united together mr weatherbee was in his office but was soon drawn out by the silence and the sight before him

"What's the meaning of this?" he asked confused archie replied "It's a show of support, sir." Celestia crossed her arms and spoke "For the Southsiders who are being wrongly transferred out of our school." archie then finished "Everyone's ready to walk out, Principal Weatherbee." he acted smug and said "Any student who walks out better keep walking, because they'll be expelled." archie sighed "You're a good man, Principal Weatherbee. You're not the kind of person who discriminates. And if you are, then expel me.Because I don't want to be a part of that." the principle stared at archie then spoke finally before walking off "Everyone, get to class."

everyone began to scatter but most of the couples stayed together Celestia hugged her boyfriend as she laid her head on his chest looking towards archie "he did it sweet pea he really fucking did it" he smiled and kissed her head "everyones heading down to the quarry later you comin?" she looked up at him "i wouldn't miss it for the world" and with that everyone headed to class until lunch where they sat in the common room waiting for the student president was about to be announced Celestia was sat on the couch with her legs over sweet peas the pa sounded "Attention, Riverdale High students.The results of your student council election are in.Your new student body president is Archie Andrews." everyone cheered as the tapped his shoulder " In unrelated news, for the foreseeable future, all former Southside High students will remain at Riverdale High. That is all" Celestia squealed as she jumped at sweet pea and kissed him when she pulled back all he could do was smile

then that was when things started to tumbled down again everyone headed down to the quarry as soon as Celestia got off her bike she saw fangs she gasped and jumped off her back and sprinted towards him straight into his arms she cried with happiness "oh my god fangs i thought you were dead don't ever do that to me again" she pulled back and they smiled at each other by this time sweet pea had caught up to her and Fp was just about to give a speech on a stage by the water so they sat on the seats of their bikes Celestia sitting on sweet peas lap

Fp whistled and hollered at everyone "Listen up now! Hey, listen up! Some 60 years ago, the very first Serpent meeting took place on these same riverbanks.And it makes sense that is where we gather now, where I" he stuttered and thought " Where I say my goodbye. Jughead, Celestia, would you step up here," the siblings spoke in unison confused" Dad, what are you doing?" he replied with " What I should've done a long time ago." they spoke between each other "I'm retiring from the Serpents.For real this time." Celestia looked at him and muttered "what the fuck"

everyone groaned" Whoa.But my boy My boy and my girl have never stopped fighting for this crew.Hell, they almost died for it. That's why I'm giving you both the mantle." everyone cheered as sweet pea clapped fangs on the back and he groaned in pain Celestia looked at them and laughed as everyone cheered as Fp continued " And now, as your first official duty as Serpent King I think you know what to do with this." toni walked up to them and handed them a red serpent jacket "Take it." as they both took it the crowd roared and jughead began "All right. all right All I can say is I love you, Dad and Celestia. And the Serpents will not die out.Not on my watch." Celestia smiled then said "as a wise old man once said "we will not go gently into the night we are here to stay SO BRING THE FIRE" she looked at him and raised her hand with her drink in it "i love you dad and thank you for everything you've done for me" he smiled and lifted his drink to her

then cheryl took off her jacket and approached the stage jughead helped her up as Celestia handed her the jacket with jughead as she untucked her her hair and looked out Fp gave the nod of approval and his son looked down and smiled where as his daughter ran to him and hugged him and looked up "jughead's gonna have to rule the roost for a while" he cocked his head "why's that?" she laughed "because i'm taking me and sweet pea on a holiday for a while " he nodded " well you better tell jughead " she nodded as she walked up to him

"hey jug you gotta run this joint for a while because i'm going on a little getaway with my other half" he laughed "jut let me know when your coming back and your place is back" she hugged him then kissed his cheek "i love you my brother" she smirked as she walked over to the two boys conversing she leaned against his bike as they all faced outwards "so sweet pea will you be my king now that i'm the queen ?" he turned to her and grabbed her waist "you've alway been my queen so i guess i am your king " she smiled as she pulled away "stop your cringing fangs out" she laughed

they went back to facing outward "so sweet pea what would you say if i said i booked a year long holiday to go around the whole wide world" he sipped his drink "i'd say we can't afford that" she turned to face them and pulled the passports from her pocket "well guess what we're going" he gasped and picked her up spinning her around as she had her hands on his shoulders "i fucking love you Celestia jones" she leaned down and kissed him back "i love you sweet pea"

"when do you leave?" fangs asked she smiled as her boyfriend put her down "tomorrow everything is packed all we have to do is show up at the airport which reminds me here you go fangs" she threw her car keys to her best friend "you can keep my old car and borrow my new one just don't crash" he caught them then hugged her "thank you so much C" she pulled a face "also don't fuck anyone in my cars please" he laughed as he saluted "yes ma'am" she smiled as she looked at her boyfriend "we better go get ready for tomorrow then i guess " he nodded as they made their way home and just spoke they were currently sat on their bed

"hey Celestia" she hummed a reply "did i ever tell you that you bring out the sweet side of the south in me " she smiled and replied "you know i don't think you ever have" they both laughed

Celestia was doing something and didn't notice what sweet pea was doing when she turned around she was shocked and gasped holding her hands over her mouth "sweet pea what are you doing" he was crouched on to one knee as he replied with such passion and heart "these past 2 years have been the best of my life and i want my whole life to be like that, Celestia jones will you marry me?" he held a bright sparkling ring in a velvet red box

she began crying "oh my god yes of course i will" she slid on the ring and fell to the floor into her fiances arms crying and admiring the ring "oh my god sweet pea i love you so much i can't believe i'm spending the rest of my life with you" he smiled "next stop children" she laughed playfully "easy tiger not just yet at least wait until after high school" she smiled "ugh i love it" she admired the ring in the light as he held her hand " you know the red one represents you because of your fiery personality and the clear one is me because you make me a clearer better person she nodded as they kissed and eventually went to sleep ready for their busy day

the next day soon came around and they were rushing around packing last minute items and saying their last goodbyes to everyone and they finally made it to the airport on time and just as they were about to board the plane Celestia said while holding sweet pea's hand "well sweet pea this is the beginning of everything" as they got on their plane and lived their new chapter of their lives happily and carefree because
