A week after Sharon and Diya's conversation, the shooting of Dream and Dance Production's debut venture Dancing my way to your Heart gets completed. The team was able to complete the shooting within schedule and then it was send to the studio for dubbing and editing purpose. 

During the editing phase, the production team decide to do movie promotions in different parts of the country. Due to the promotions, Sharon and Swayam were forced to spend more time with each other but Sharon always maintained a distance from Swayam. This change in Swayam and Sharon's relation was noticed by their friends as well. One day, when Sharon and Swayam had gone to Bangalore along with Shraey and Diya, the team decide to go out for dinner together. 

At the restaurant: 

Nilesh: Guys, have you noticed any changes in Sharon and Swayam's behavior?

Amar: Hmm. They seem to be avoiding each other a lot lately specially Sharon. 

Vicky: I agree. Earlier they used to look so happy whenever they are together. Swayam used to pull Sharon's leg and irritate her so much but she used to enjoy all those pranks. But now they hardly even smile at each other unless there is press or media around them. 

Rinni: They are the ones who always believed in showing their true self before media and their well wishers but now even their smiles for each other are so fake.

Bharat: I wonder what happened between them in last few weeks that has effected the bond formed over all these years.

While this entire discussion was going on, one person was sitting among them silently. The person was none other than Simmi and Nilesh was the first one to observe this.

Nilesh: Simmi

Simmi: Hmm

Nilesh: What do you think has happened between Sharon and Swayam?

Simmi: I don't know and I think we should not interfere in their personal matters. They are mature enough to solve their issues.

Nilesh was surprised by Simmi's curt reply as he could sense the frustration in her voice.

Nilesh: Simmi, is there something you know that we are not aware of.

Simmi still does not say anything.

Rinni: Simmi, whatever it is, just speak up. If there is a problem, we can find a solution for the same.

Amar: Rinni is right Simmi. Just tell us what is bothering you.

Simmi decides to tell everything to her friends as she was fed up and frustrated by keeping all these within her. Simmi tells her friends about what happened between Sharon and Diya at Swayam's house as well as how Diya had hurt Sharon on the sets of their movie.

Everyone were shocked and angry after hearing about Diya's behavior towards Sharon.

Nilesh: Why didn't you tell us all these before Simmi?

Simmi: Sharon has asked me not to tell anyone as she did not want the shooting to get interrupted by anything related to her life.

Amar: How can she think like that? She is our friend and her problems are our problems. We would have taken care of Diya if we were aware of her deeds.

Simmi: No Guys. We should not get involved in this. This is between Sharon, Swayam and Diya. If Swayam really values his friendship with Sharon, he will find out the reason behind her changed behavior towards him. 

Nilesh: Simmi is right. Swayam need to get his priorities right. He need to take a decision as to who is important in his life, Sharon or Diya.

Rinni: What if he chooses Diya over Sharon?

Vicky: Well, if that's his decision, we have to accept the same. Swayam and Sharon, both are our friends. If Swayam is happy with someone else and that person does not prefer his friendship with Sharon, then he may have to let go of Sharon. I am sure Sharon is mature enough to understand the situation.

Simmi: She has already started accepting the situation and has started moving away from Swayam so that he need not face any issues in his relation because of her.

Nilesh: Hmm. We will always stay by Sharon and help her to get over the lose of her best friend.

Everyone agreed to Nilesh.

Soon the dinner party was over and all leave for their respective houses. 

Meanwhile in Bangalore: 

Swayam and Sharon just returned to their hotel after the promotion of their movie. They were overwhelmed by the response from the crowd. They were supposed to leave for Mumbai the same day but they had to stay back as their flight got cancelled. There were only 2 tickets available in the next flight and they decided to send Shraey and Diya back to Mumbai as Shraey had some important event the next day and Diya also had some important meeting scheduled for the next day. Diya was reluctant to leave Swayam with Sharon but she had to go on Swayam's insistence. However, she does not leave the chance to warn Sharon to stay away from Swayam. 

After Shraey and Diya leave for the airport, Sharon decides to go to her room to avoid any confrontation with Swayam. On the other hand, Swayam was thinking of talking to Sharon as this was the perfect opportunity that he was waiting for as they were alone today. 

Sharon was just settling down on her bed when she hear a knock on her door. 

Sharon: Who is it?

Swayam: It's me Swayam.

Sharon was surprised that Swayam had come to meet her. She was not sure how to avoid him as he was standing outside her room. She just stands there staring at the door unable to decide whether to let him in or not.

Swayam: Sharon, please open the door. We need to talk. 

Sharon still does not say anything.

Swayam: Sharon, I will just stay here until you open the door.

Sharon decides to let him in before public start noticing them. Sharon opens the door and asks him to come in.

Sharon: What do you want Swayam?

Swayam: I want to know why you are avoiding me.

Sharon: Because I don't want to talk to you. 

Swayam: I want the reason for this sudden decision of pushing me away from your life.

Sharon: It's my life Swayam and I can make any decision related to my life without asking anyone's permission.

Swayam: No, you can't take decisions alone when someone else is also effected by that decision. I want to know why my bestfriend is avoiding me since last few weeks. 

Sharon: Your bestfriend... 

She starts to laugh while Swayam looks at her shocked by her reaction.

Sharon: Seriously Swayam, you still think I am your bestfriend. 

Swayam: What do you mean Sharon? When did I say that you are not my friend?

Sharon: You didn't but your girlfriend did.

Swayam: My girlfriend

Sharon: Yes, your girlfriend Miss. Diya Kapoor. She told me that you are a rising superstar and you should not be in the company of people like me who are not on par with your current status. And you know what I agree with her. 

Swayam: What the hell are you talking?

Sharon: I am telling the truth. Swayam, when it comes to choosing between your friend and girlfriend, it's always the girlfriend who wins. So, I think you should listen to Diya and just stay away from me. 

Swayam: So you mean to say that my absence in your life does not matter to you.

Sharon: Yes Swayam. Your absence does not matter to me. I am happy without you in my life because you are not the only friend in my life.

Swayam: So, now I am just another friend for you and our special bond does not mean anything to you.

Sharon: What bond Swayam? It was just the imagination of our well wishers and we were stupid enough to agree with them. The truth is there is nothing special about our bond and we no longer mean anything in each other's life. 

Swayam was hurt by Sharon's words. He just goes away from there without saying anything while Sharon just crashes down on the floor, crying her heart.

Sharon: I am really, really sorry for hurting you. You mean everything to me but I am strong enough to see you with anyone else. So this is the best way to stay away from you. 

On the other side in Swayam's room:

Swayam: She has changed. How can she just say that our bond does not mean anything to her? Did she really mean it when she said that my presence or absence in her life does not effect her? I can't even think of a life without her and she just said that she is happy without me in her life. I..

Swayam suddenly realize what he just said. He just said that he cannot imagine a life without Sharon. What does that mean? Not all our friends stay by us forever. They move away from us due to various reason but our life never stops because of their absence. But Sharon and my bond is different. I could not bear the pain of staying away from her or not talking to her for last few weeks. How will I bear the pain of her leaving me forever? Does this mean that my bond with her is something above friendship?

Swayam sat in his room confused by his feelings.
