! You and Mike are freshman in highschool !

You and Mike were walking together in the hallway in a comfortable silence Mike had invited you to sit with the hellfire club since you normally sit with his sister and also your best friend Nancy

She got kinda boring since all she does is talk about how her and Johnathan are going to college together and how much they love each other

How come you couldn't say a simple I love you to Mike you know you loved him you tried to say it but it wouldn't come out

You can't even hold his hand what if he didn't want you to

You tried multiple times like once you took a shirt of his and he tried to get it back he grabbed it but you wanted your hands to intertwine

You also tried to say I love you by giving him a note in his locker but threw it away because it was cringey 

She felt her heart start to race when Mike looked at her

"Um (y/n) are you okay? I called your name 4 times" he said she blushed from embarrassment

"Yeah I'm um fine" she replied Mike knew immediately she wasn't so he took it upon himself to figure out what was wrong

They got to the hellfire table and Mike took a chair from the table behind him and placed it next to him

"Wow (y/n) decided to finally join us" Eddie said

Eddie was like a brother to you your parents trusted him to babysit you when you were 10 surprisingly but he taught you guitar, got you into the same music taste and didn't want you to get involved with drugs

"Yeah she normally doesn't like sitting at large tables" Mike said

He wasn't wrong, you felt like a large table of people would judge you

"Well um (y/n) are you gonna eat or wait for the food to disappear it's self" Eddie said you glaced at him

"I'm not really that hungry" you replied Eddie knew that was complete bullshit

You were normally loud and obnoxious around him and he knew you were lying

Lunch was over and you and Mike had different classes

"I'll see you later okay? Bye (y/n)" Mike said giving you a hug which you returned

You didn't mind hugs it's just, other things you were scared you'll screw it up you knew Mike had a ex girlfriend named eleven or Jane, but she moved to California

You felt so insucure when you thought of her

"(Y/n) I know you're not fine and what you said at lunch was complete bullshit"
Eddie said from behind you, he was right you weren't okay

"We can talk about it if you want" he said you needed to tell someone

"Sure" you replied Eddie showed you to a picnic table in the woods

"Nobody really comes here only me and the person im selling drugs to" Eddie said you smiled a bit since it was reassuring

"Okay (y/n) tell me what's in that head of yours"

"It's just, I don't think I deserve Mike, I can't say a simple I love you, hold hands, I can't even kiss him it's like I want to but can't, when I think about his ex girlfriend I get insucure since she wasn't afraid to"

Eddie thought for a minute he already had this conversation with Mike, Mike wanted to say the same things do the same things but he was worried he would rush it

"I don't know if Mike wanted me to tell you this but, he told me the exact same thing, he wants to kiss you but he's afraid he's rushing it, he thinks you don't wanna hold his hand, he also almost said he loved you once but he thought you didn't wanna say it yet" Eddie explained

Your eyes widened you felt more happy, you wanted to rush to Mike and just kiss him but it was the middle of class

"Well how about this, I'll plan something and you and Mike and just confess what you felt" Eddie said

"That's great thank you Eddie!" You hugged him

He was really like an older brother to you hes the one that helped you and Mike get together

Eddie smiled at you and the both of you heard the bell ring

"We should go" you said Eddie nodded and the both of you rushed back

"MIKE" you yelled walking towards him

"Woah (y/n) slow down what's wrong" he said holding your shoulders

"I want you to come to my house after school if that's okay" you said

Mike nodded

You decided fuck it and grabbed his hand intertwining your fingers Eddie from a distance looked like a happy father and walked away

Mike on the other hand was blushing from the sudden interaction but returned it

"(Y/n) you do know we have homework" he said

"Yeah but we can do it together" you said Mike smiled

--time skip to your house--

"Oh Mike um..I had a talk with Eddie" you said Mike instantly looked at you

"About um, stuff, I just wanna say, I'm sorry for feeling insucure about Jane, and that..I..I love you" that last part made your heart race what if he suddenly didn't love you

"(Y/n) you don't need to be insucure about Jane, and I love you too"

The worry in your heart flushed away you looked up at him and in a instant your lips connected

You have no idea what gotten into you it just happened he kissed you back
The worry of doing this before went away

You pulled away and you felt yourself blush

"I- I'm sorry" you said Mike laughed and hugged you
