Chapter 4

I've been really grumpy these past few days. I am still not over of what that woman did to me.

I did manage to get back at her before I left that room but I was still humiliated. And I cannot just shake that off my mind.

That was my first time being treated like that for Pete's sake! Me? The Son Chaeyoung?

I utterly regret being interested in that freaky woman.

"Damn it!" I slammed the table without realizing it.

"U-uh?" Dahyun pulled my shirt. That was when I realized I was still in class.

Shit!

This is all that woman's fault! I am going to make her pay. Big time!

I am so focused on the plate I am making for the General Constructions 3 course. I already had an idea of the design I am making so I am enthusiastically moving my pencil.

"Hooo. Lines and shapes are the only thing that makes you smile Architect." Dahyun suddenly pops up beside me.

I did not bother answering her or looking at her.

She knocked on my desk.

"What?" I finally looked at her. A little annoyed. I hate being disturbed whenever I do my designs.

She frowned. "You've got a visitor." She said and pointed to someone behind her. She moved away to give way to whoever it was.

I smirked when I saw who the visitor was. I crossed my arms and looked up to her without standing.

She looked down at me and roamed her eyes around my face and my body. She's doing that psychology thing again, I guess.

"By the way I see it, you already know the reason for my presence here." She finally spoke.

The corner of my lips arched. "Not really. I am not like you."

Her eyes showed a glimpse of annoyance for a second. "Give me back my nameplate." She said in a firm voice.

I'm surprised. She can actually speak normally and even get annoyed. I wonder how she manage to stay calm during that commotion she was in last time.

Not that I'm curious though. Tch.

"Don't have it," I said and continued drawing.

"This is revenge."

That wasn't a question. Well, that was expected. Reading human behavior is what she's good at after all.

But I did not react. I just continued what I was doing.

"The great Son Chaeyoung is this low? I'm astonished." She finally said after a minute and left.

The hell?

"Hey, what was that? Revenge? What did she do to you?" Dahyun asked me after that woman left.

Tzuyu stood in front of me. "Mind sharing what happened?" She said.

I broke my pencil in annoyance. I'm low? That woman is really hitting the right spots!

"HAHAHAHAHAHA."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."

The laughter of these two filled the cafeteria. I glared at them but they didn't stop laughing. Specially Dahyun.

I stood up. I'm gonna leave these two.

"W-wait up." Dahyun stopped me while still laughing.

Tzuyu already stopped and drank her orange juice. She's still smiling though, no she's grinning at me to be exact.

"Oh-kay! Ha! I'm done laughing. Pfftt." I glared at her again. She raised both her hands. She finally stopped.

"So, you asked someone to steal her nameplate, used your power to deny her request for a new one, denied her access to borrowing psychology books in the library, and made the guidance counselor fire her as a student facilitator?"

Tzuyu narrated what I told them earlier. I just nodded.

"All because she did not thank you for returning her nameplate?" Dahyun asked.

"No! Of course not." I defended myself. "She humiliated me in front of those students. I can't just let it go."

Tzuyu rested her back on the chair and grinned at me. "This is not like you."

"What are you talking about?"

"You don't usually make efforts for some stranger Chae. She forced you to ask Gilbert to check someone's profile for the first time." Dahyun nodded in agreement to what she said.

"I-i was just curious!"

"Heh." She did not buy my excuse.

"She's pissing me off!" I added.

"Not asking."

"You're pissing me off."

"Because I'm making sense."

Psh. I stood up. I'll leave these two idiots. They're not helping me at all.

"You sure about this Chae?" Tzuyu suddenly became serious.

I raised my brows. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"You waged war with her in public."

"So what?"

Dahyun looked confused as well.

She sighed. "It won't just be a battle between the two of you Chae."

"Huh?"

I don't have an idea on where Tzuyu is heading with this conversation.

"You don't really realize how huge your influence and popularity in this University, don't you?" She asked.

I tilted my head. It's getting harder and harder to comprehend.

"The thing you started is not actually a battle Chae. It's a slaughter."

Eh?

"Have you heard? Some Engineering students went to the Education department to find someone. Those girls are really mad with that person. Something might happen."

"Really? Let's go. This might be interesting."

"I agree. Let's hurry."

That was the conversation of the two students who just passed by me. I looked at Tzuyu.

"Why don't you also check it out? You might fully understand what I meant if you do." Tzuyu said.

With curiosity building up within me, I followed Tzuyu's suggestion.
