Chaeyoung's POV

"Where the hell are you taking me?" I shouted at these two punks when they just dragged me away from my office and drove for almost 3 hours now.

"You're father officially approved your vacation leave okay. We are on our way to your vacation house." Dahyun answered.

"WHAT?" I shouted. "What the hell is that old geezer thinking? I still have a pending project from an international client. I don't have time for this vacation! Stop the car!" I yelled at the driver.

"Aish! You're forcing me to do this!" Dahyun said then smacked the back of my head, rendered me unconscious right away.

I woke up on an unfamiliar room.

I grabbed the back of my head. I'm gonna get even with this Dahyun!

I opened the door and looked around. Where are those punks?

Wait. Is this where I'm gonna stay with this silly vacation they talked about? This place is so small for pete's sake!

A pleasant smell coming from the kitchen got my attention.

Ha!

That's where you are huh? I quickly walked towards the kitchen. I stopped midway.

Wait. Those two can't cook.

Then who the hell is cooking right now?

As if answering the question that I have in mind, a woman wearing a cute apron suddenly went out from the kitchen.

She looked at me as I looked at her in surprise.

I blinked several times. I am not dreaming, right?

"I was about to wake you up. Let's eat." She said then went back inside the kitchen.

I cannot move my legs. I just stood there like I was rooted.

By the time I noticed my cheeks getting wet with my own tears, the whole thing sinked in to me.

Mina is here! Right there! In the kitchen!

She's not talking. She just keeps on eating while I stare at her. I did not touch my food.

She then suddenly looked at me. "I won't be talking to you later if you won't eat the food that I prepared."

That was how I got back to my senses. I quickly scooped a spoonful of food and ate without breaking my contact with her. I was afraid that if I do, she'll just vanish and this whole thing is just a dream.

After eating, she cleaned the whole thing without a word.

I jsut sat there. Not moving. Waiting for her to finish.

She took a pitcher full of water out from the fridge and poured it in a glass. She took the glass and gave to me. "You did not drink anything after eating."

I just then realized that she's right. My throat is all dried up from the food and from the tension inside me.

She sat at the empty chair in front of me.

"How are you Chae?" She asked casually.

But I do not know exactly how to answer that simple question. "You'd know right away if I lie. So I'll have to say I am not doing good Mina."

Her expression changed. It looks like she's enduring the fact that I am right here, invading the place she's been with for six years.

I looked down. She still doesn't want to be involved with me. A pain jolted my heart with that.

"I know."

Then a moment of silence.

I was so happy seeing her earlier but now this place seems to be suffocating for the both of us. I could not make her suffer any longer. I stood up. She looked at me.

"I am sorry for what my friends did. I didn't know that they knew where you stayed at. I was also just dragged here. I did not planned this Mina. I swear. You told me not to appear in front of you again, so I did. I am so sorry for appearing like this again. This will be the last time. You won't be seeing this face anymore. I promise."

I said and then left right away. I heard her calling me but I just ran out from her place. I am not familiar with the area and I don't have a freaking idea on where to go but I just ran wherever my feet brings me.

I cannot make Mina suffocate from my presence. She will just be reminded of that guilt. And I can't let that happen. I can't make her suffer because of me.

I stopped on a shed after running. I catched my breath. I looked for my phone and wallet on my pocket but it seems like those punks took it with them. I have nothing with me in a God knows where this place is.

I looked at my wristwatch. It's still 2pm. I'll just have to hitch a ride to go to a city or ask for a phone to borrow with.

"Are you sure with this direction?'

I heard voices from a distance. I saw a group of 3 ladies walking side by side. I approached them.

"Uhmm, hi." I greeted.

The girl with a short hair answered. "Yes?"

"I know that I am a stranger but I am really not a bad person. I am just dragged here by my friends as a prank and left me with nothing. Can I borrow your phone to call someone to pick me up."

They all looked at each other. The lady on the right side then gave me her phone.

I accepted it happily and bowed to them. "Thank you, thank you so much."

I quickly dialed Gilbert's phone. It rang thrice before he picked it up.

"Hello young lady."

"What the hell Gilbert. Are you with this?" I yelled.

"The Chairman is behind this young lady."

"Fuck. Tell that geezer that he owed me 10 cars for doing this. They dragged me here and left me with nothing!"

"But you have Ms. Myoui young lady." He said in a confusing voice.

"Fuck that! Do you all think that Mina will accept me with open arms?"

"Yes."

I clenched my fist in annoyance. I am going to cut this butlers fingers when I come back.

"Did you threaten her?"

"No."

"Then what did you do?"

He did not answer.

"Fine! Just send someone to pick me up! Right now!" I said.

"I apologize young lady, but you will have to remain on Ms. Myoui's place until she let's you go. Enjoy."

And he hanged up on me.

"Arrggghhh!" I almost throw the phone in anger.

"A-ahh."

I turned around and saw the three ladies earlier looked so flustered with the conversation I had with Gilbert. The owner of the phone shakingly asked for her phone back.

I bowed when I realized that I almost throw it away earlier. "Thank you and I'm sorry for that."

She smiled fakingly. I really scared them.

"Chae!"

My eyes widened when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

Shit!

I moved to ran away again but..

"Don't you dare take another step Son Chaeyoung!" She shouted.

That froze me.

"Teacher Mina?" The three ladies ran towards Mina.

They know her?

I still did not move. I just stood there without looking to her direction.

I suddenly a warm arms wrapping around my waist. She's hugging me from the back.

"Let's go home Chae. Please."

She burrowed her face on my back and I can hear her sobs.

I made her cry again.
