I welcomed her mouth with mine.

In the midst of this chaotic situation, I gave in and kissed her. It's supposed to be just a peck but Mina's tongue moved signaling to deepen the kiss.

My mind is fully aware on what I am doing. I wanted to push her but my hands seems to be uncontrollable as of this moment.

And then the light turned back on.

The sudden explosion of light that blinded us in an instant woke me up and led me back to my senses. I pulled away from the kiss.

Mina also realized what happened. She immediately moved away and stood up.

We cannot look at each other's eyes. My face is beaming red and so is hers.

"There you are!"

We both looked at the direction of the voice. It's a group of two security guards.

"The generator is not properly working so it took us some time to fix it. We're sorry about that. I'm glad you are fine Teacher Mina."

The guard then gave me a "who are you" look.

"Ahh, I'm her schoolmate. I met her student outside while I'm on my way home. He was worried about Mina so I checked." 

The guard is pleased on what I said and thanked me. They then escorted us out.

The table is so silent. We are at out house, in our garden precisely.

Dahyun and Tzuyu visited, well more like Dahyun dragged Tzuyu all the way here.

The maids just got finished preparing the snacks in the table. No one dared to talk or eat first.

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry!"

Tzuyu and I said in unison.

Dahyun grinned at us. She then started to pick some cookies and ate it.

"I'm sorry for calling you an idiot."

I made a face. Dahyun pinched her arms lightly.

"Oww! Fine! Fine!" She looked at me. "I'm sorry Chae. Sorry for forcing you to date Mina. I have a good intention but I went overboard. That was so insensitive of me."

I smiled at her. "You sound scripted but it's sincere enough."

She frowned. Dahyun laughed. We all laughed.

I began eating.

"But..."

They both paused and looked at me.

"I kissed her last night." I confessed.

Dahyun's cookies fell from her hand. Tzuyu took a sip of her tea and leaned to her chair.

"Am I in trouble? Because I think...I think Tzuyu is right after all. I like her. I like Mina."

"Can we meet?'

This is the message I received earlier this morning. It's from an unknown number but I already have an idea of who it was.

"You should go." Tzuyu said when I told them about it.

Dahyun nodded in agreement.

"It's a great opportunity for you to know if you really like her for real or not."

Tzuyu's got a point.

"Alright. I'll go meet her then."

Then my phone rang. It's from Gilbert.

I connected the call to my in-ear speaker.

"What is it? I have class in 3 minutes."

"Code Ring young lady. I need to report this ASAP."

I clenched my fist after he finished his report. "Send me the photos. I want to see it with my own eyes."

"Granted."

We are meeting at the park that she texted.

I guess I came early since I cannot see her anywhere yet.

I sat on an empty bench near the slide. The park is empty. Kids out will be an hour from now.

"I'm sorry I'm late." She finally arrived.

"Not a problem. I just got here anyway."

She sat beside me.

We are silent for about 2 minutes. I decided to speak first.

"How are you?"

"A-ahh, I'm now fine. Thanks for saving me again." I nodded.

We fell silent again.

I could not bare to endure another minute of this silence. I was about to say something but she spoke ahead of me.

"A-about that k-kiss. I..I don't why I did that. Maybe I was just so overwhelmed about the situation. I'm-"

"Don't!"

She looked at me. I met her eyes. "Don't say sorry. Don't be sorry about kissing me."

"B-but-"

"I also kissed you. But I won't be sorry Mina. I will never apologize. Because..." I reached out for her hand. "I liked it. And I like you."

She blinked a few times after hearing what I just said. She moved to withdraw her hands but I held into it tighter.

"Tell me. Don't you feel the same?" I asked her. Looking straight into her eyes.

She avoided my gaze.

"I..don't know."

"Look at me." I commanded her.

She hesitated but she still did.

"Answer me without thinking about it. That kiss. Did you mean it?"

"Yes."

She looked so surprised by her own answer.

I smiled. "That's all that I want to hear."

I stood up and started walking away.

"W-wait!" She shouted from behind.

I stopped and turned to look at her. "I'll pick you up tomorrow Mina. Let's try this and date. For real."

And I left without waiting for her answer.
