After they left the kingdom of Gawant, they camped in the forest. In the morning, the compass led them to an empty place. At first, they did not realize that some time ago, there was a castle there.

Our heroes had a bad surprise when they saw Ealdor burning and tried to find survivors but all were dead. The most shocked of them was Merlin and cried. "No, it is impossible!"

"Merlin, stop!" said Arthur. "I will go after him."

"We didn't find the enemies' bodies..." said Leon.

"Whoever did this, would pay with his life," said Cenred. "I swear on my both swords."

"What should we expect now?" said Nicci.

Rahl said, "They left... They are a day in front of us."

"Where are they heading?" said Percival.

"Better not to ask," said Denna. "I hate surprises."

"Why Ealdor always..." said Gwen.

"What do you mean?" said Leon.

"When Merlin came to Camelot, in a few days he became Arthur's servant. Also, a few days after that, they became good friends... Arthur almost sacrificed himself to find a plant to save Merlin from a poison. A month after that, his mother Hunith came to Camelot because Cenred didn't help Ealdor."

All from Camelot didn't say a word when they heard what happened to Ealdor.

Balinor said, "No, it is impossible... Can't be true."

"Who did that?" said Uther. "Immortal army again?"

"I know nothing about it;" said Rahl, "but they won't stop at anything to destroy Camelot or Esetir."

"I hope there is a way to stop them," said Ygraine. "Zedd, are you all right? Does your heart hurt?"

Verna said, "Nah, you mean a spell of the heart?"

"We used to protect the Palace of the Prophets from Sisters of the Dark, Mord-Siths, and others," said Richard.

"My lord," said Leon. "I, Percival, Lancelot, Nicci, and Elyan will take people to Camelot."

"A long time ago," said Uther, "an old man told me to use magic against magic, but I was a fool and didn't listen to him."

"Who is he?" said Ygraine.

"Gaius says this," said Balinor.

"I make the spell," said Zedd. "We are safe here."

"The immortal army is a magical creation, right?" said Shota.

"And it will have the same effect as it had on Medhir knights," said Cara.

"I know you are immortal," said Gwen, "but is the magic of Dacra strong enough to kill someone?"

"You learn well, Gwen," said Verna.

"Merlin," said Annalina, "send this crow to the Hartland."

"You bring Sisters of the Light here to beat them, good idea," said Cenred.

Ygraine and Hunith said, "Female warriors, I like that."

Arthur said, "I and Freya will go to Kilgharrah."

"Big wizard with kitchen wings?" said Cara.

"Yes, that," said Freya.

"All dragons are ready to help us," said Arthur.

"We will return and take as many people as we can," said Leon.

Uther said, "If Morgana, Morgause, Giller, Helios and all want to destroy Camelot or Esetir, we won't give up."

Mordred said, "Those cowards will reach here in a day. I am sorry for what I did."

"Did you sense something when you entered near the castle?" said Freya.

"A magical shield?" said Kara.

"I know Mordred betrayed Arthur because of you, Kara, but you redeem," said Nicci.

"After we stop the immortal army and take the cup, you will give it to the Druids where it belongs and where it is safe."

"Mordred or Kara, do you see some Mord-Siths here?" said Rahl.

"Yes, they are close and waiting for someone," said Kara.

They left and Kahlan used Con Dar to make some Mord-Siths fight for them. Our heroes returned to Camelot. When they returned, they had a big surprise when they saw almost all Confessors there. Serena in two months could teach all Confessors to use Con Dar. Sisters of the Light came too. Uther and Cenred called a council of war to prepare the defense for both castles. Merlin, Balinor, Shota, and Zedd enchanted all weapons to kill or hurt the immortal army. Magical shields protected the castles so they could not pass to anyone who had a bad heart. Shota used her powers to see what the enemies were doing. She discovered the enemies got a new ally, an ally whose existence was impossible. That new ally of Morgana was a Confessor male. Confessor males cannot use their powers; they become mad. They must die after birth to prevent the dark unleashing on the world. His name was Nicolas Rahl, who lived in an alternative future that happened to Richard and Cara.

Morgana and Morgause said, "Who are you?"

"My name is Nicolas Rahl."

"No... That is impossible," said Giller.

"You were his Wizard of the First Order; you should know that," said Helios.

"I don't know, but he is a Confessor male."

"Smart boy. I am Nicolas Rahl, the Master."

"Now," said Helios.

"You will regret this."

"You are mad!" said Giller. "A confessor male can't control his powers! I hope a Dacra will be enough for you."

"This is impossible... He can't exist here," said Cara at the castle.

"How he is born if we prevented that future?" said Richard.

"Sh. He will tell his story," said Shota.

"Nicolas, if you want to live, tell us now who you are," said Giller.

"When all three Boxes of Orden united, Rahl and the Mord-Siths came. Richard unleashed the power of Orden while under Kahlan's confession. Cara hit Richard's neck with the Agiel. To prevent that, Zedd used his magical fire and Mord-Siths because she deflected it back. After that was, a big explosion and Cara and Richard disappeared. Kahlan met Shota in prison and she told Richard and Cara to travel into the future fifty years. She knew the dark future of Confessors and marriage with Rahl and one day Richard would l return. Kahlan helped me be born. When she discovered I could not control my powers, she wanted to kill me but caught her. Rahl wanted to execute her with mercy, but I was the one who killed her. At the grave of my mother, General Egremont killed Darken Rahl being under my confession. So I became The Master."

All can't believe when they heard. Rahl couldn't believe in an alternative future, he had a child with Kahlan. Also, having the same fate as his father, Panis Rahl (he died by Rahl's hand, but revived by a Mord-Sith and ran away). The only way to stop the immortal enemies without a fight was to throw all blood out of enemies from the cup.

"No...He can't be here..." said Zedd.

"No," said Rahl, "you are not my wife and that isn't my son."

"That is strange," said Mordred, "an unborn child forty-nine years."

"And how is it impossible to be here?" said Percival.

"I hope he will die by a Dacra or someone," said Freya.

"He can use Con Dar?" said Arthur.

"He is already in Con Dar," said Serena, "but our luck they are not as powerful as Confessor females."

"But still enough to bring darkness," said Kahlan.

"First, I want to say I'm sorry," said Lancelot, "especially to Arthur and Gwen. Morgana resurrected a shade like me with all my memories. She told me everything. Morgana sent a bracelet to Gwen to restore Gwen's old feelings for me. Agravaine called you and started a fight. After Camelot banished Gwen, Morgana ordered me to commit suicide. But Merlin tried a spell and freed my soul from the shade with all memories."

"And when we revive you, you remembered those things?" said Denna.

"And your two deaths?" said Cara. "Once when you entered the veil and another a suicidal act."

"Both of them," said Lancelot.

Both castles were ready to defend the territories. All villagers went into the castles. They expected the immortal army to attack in the morning. They were ready to beat them because they had many surprises for them. Something much unexpected.

"And what brings you here?" said Morgana.

"Don't make me use Con Dar, cow," said Nicolas. "You and your friends are no matches for my power."

"He is lying," said Giller. "Con Dar of males is not lethal like female Confessors."

"That means we are safe because he can't confess us," said Morgause.

"What are you trying doing?" said Helios.

"A message from Dochraid," said Nicolas.

"She brings you here to help us?" said Morgana.

"And why do you think I am here?" said Nicolas. "To bring flowers to you? Now pull that Dacra out of me."

"A new ally," said Helios. "I hope I can trust you."

"In the morning we begin the attack," said Morgause. "Camelot and Esetir will go and no one has the power to stop us."

"And the world will be ours," said Helios.

Night came and the last details of defense were ready. In the morning, immortal troops blew the horn. That meant the beginning of the battle. They wanted to enter, but a magical shield protected the castles. They tried all the tricks to enter, but they did not work.

"Can't enter here..." said Zedd."Next time is ready for anything."

"Should we show our surprises?" said Cenred.

"They will pay for this because they attacked us," said Uther.

"Kilgharrah?" said Balinor. "Are you and the dragons ready to attack?"

"This is my home. I won't allow them to destroy it," said Kilgharrah.

"Are all Confessors ready?" said Serena.

"Yes, will we begin our surprise attack?"

"Yes! Show them how to use Con Dar."

"Are you ready for Con Dar of Mord-Sith?" said Rahl. "We are ready my lord," said the Mord-Sith.

Cara said, "After we finish with them, they will not disturb us again."

"Are we ready to smash them with Dacras?" said Annalina.

The Sisters of the Light said, "Yes, let's show them who will defeat the dark."

"Percival, Leon," said Arthur, "are your sides ready for the party?"

Percival and Leon said, "Here are all okay."

"Merlin?"

"I know the enchanted weapons here. I will go to the next part of the castle."

"Fine."

Gwaine said, "Slow down! Where are you running like that?"

"To enchant weapons," said Merlin.

Lancelot said, "We are ready to begin the assault."

"Wait! Do a spell," said Shota.

Merlin said, "We are ready for this."

"At my signal!" said Arthur. "Three, two, one, shoot! For the love of Camelot."

All replied, "For the love of Camelot."

Uther and Ygraine said, "That's our boy."

The true fight began. All dragons roasted some of the immortal soldiers and distracted their attention. Corrupted Mord'sith used their powers and destroyed them, but was killed by soldiers. Confessors cast Con Dar and made a lot of immortal soldiers fight for them. Soldiers were hit by a rain of dacras. Sisters of the light unleashed powers of dacras and killed them instantly. Whoever managed to escape was shot by a rain of arrows.

Morgana and Morgause said, "Retreat now...."

"Immortal army destroyed so easily!" said Giller.

"What do you expect, magic versus magic," said Helios.

"Why do those dogs come here?" said Nicolas.

"They are confessed by Con Dar of confessors," said Giller.

"They want to kill us," said Helios.

"Banelings, sisters of the dark, mercenaries, Mord'sith, D'Haran soldiers, Saxons, all hold as much as you can," said Morgause.

"What are you trying to do?" said Morgana.

"Destroy the entire army," said Giller.

"Such a failure," said Nicolas.

Morgana and her friends ran away with the cup of life. The immortal army was defeated. Our heroes had to destroy the cup of life or give it back to the Druids that it belonged to. Mordred would help them find the cup. Druid's gave them an ancient rune that led to the cup of life. After the historical fight, sisters of the light and everyone else started praying to the Creator because of the fight with them and after that, left for the Palace of the Prophets and Confessors in Middle lands.
