I strode into the rec room and found familiar faces: Jawaharlal O'shea was my friend and fellow spy. He was talented, the kid could shoot, fight, and was mixed with several different races. He was at the top of most of his classes, although he'd only been on 4 missions with me, we'd remained in touch and good pals. I saw Mike Brezinski, who was an athletic bod, ladies man, and my best friend since first grade, and had been attracting hot and popular girls. He'd been recruited when he figured out I was a spy, and was rewarded for his cleverness with recruitment. Alexander, who was late and shuffled in later than the rest, was who had recruited me into the spy world. At first I thought he was badass, suave, and debonair. Turns out; he was a fraud and stole other peoples credit. Until very recently, he proved himself slightly in the last few missions and at least had some bit of good spy material. He was also Ericas father.
"Why are you all here?" Jawa asked curiously.
"For Operation Curious Mole." Erica confirmed.
"Is this about SPYDER? I thought we took down SPYDER" Mike acknowledged. "We did. Well, did. Ever since our last mission in France, SPYDER agents with the help of Murray Hill rebuilt a new headquarters." Erica explained."Murray had time to free SPYDER agents, build a whole new headquarters in god knows where, and plant a bomb in a cruise ship in Nicaragua?" I asked.
"We're not typically sure Murray did all this, considering he was laying low with the Croatoan the last time we saw him before The Emperor." Erica said.
"So, if Murray didn't do that much, then who did?" Jawa asked.
"SPYDER agents hanging out on the low." Mike suggested.
"All the SPYDER agents you know of are incarcerated."
"I thought Nefarious, Ashley and Warren were bailed out". Alexander said.
We all shifted our attention towards him, clearly unaware and forgetful he was in the room.
For a very rare time, Erica looked as though her father was the smartest man in the world.
Then she cracked a smile.
