Chapter 18: Discovery

June 15
Circular Street
1230 hours

"Is this thing on?" Murray Hill groaned. "I think so, anyway, hello Ben." He said. "What do you want?" "Your still in the dust about my plans?" He mocked. "Actually, we've figured out that your planning to blow up the CIA, and possibly the rest of Virginia, and actually how do you know I'm alive?"  I heard a pause, a groan then, Murray spoke: "I've been keeping tabs on you, and the Hales, and those cops chasing you? SPYDER agents. Since you're nowhere near the Washington Monument, we decided to build the bomb there, and start a chain reaction reaching all the way to the CIA, and then attack helicopters will destroy the rest of the city." This was the many times I'd feared that I would lose. I had no contact with my fellow spies, (and worst of all, contact with the enemy) I knew what said enemy was plotting with nothing to do about it, and realized that the cops had even turned on me. I fell into a depression and realized I had zero sudden hope. I'd had confidence all this time, but me and my fellow spies straight up lost. We'd been driven away without preparation because SPYDER kept attacking us, then we'd lost two people by mistake, when we weren't paying attention to our circumstances, then had been separated forcefully. And to make matters worse, Murray said: And the SPYDER agents captured your tiny little friends. Here are their last words." He passed the earpeice to Erica, and she said, "Ben, my family is at the Circular Street Graveyard and the hideout Murray is in is 3 miles from there directly, get there and blowuhhhhmph." "You little runt!" Murray screamed, then disconnected. I turned towards the graveyard a few blocks up, then saw them.

Catherine, Cyrus, and Alexander Hale.
