Mistletoe

Mega shut his car door, the package he'd picked up clutched in his arms. Luckily, said package didn't have any kind of logo on the side, so as he approached the front door, he figured he didn't have to text George to avert his eyes as he came in.

He opened the door and let out a surprised yelp as George suddenly kissed his cheek, causing him to nearly drop the box he was holding. Mega laughed as he realized what had happened and turned to George with a confused but happy expression.

"Mistletoe," George said, pointing above Mega's head.

Mega looked up and rolled his eyes slightly at the sight of the decoration George had hung. He grabbed the front of George's sweater and tugged him downward slightly, pulling him into a proper kiss. They pulled apart after a bit, panting slightly, and Mega walked away to hide the gift in his arms.

A few days later, Mega stood at the kitchen counter, studying a recipe. He was planning to make actual cookies, much better than the ones George had attempted to decorate on stream.

There were soft footsteps behind him before something swung over his head. Mega looked up, confused, then grinned at the sight of mistletoe hanging from what appeared to be a makeshift fishing pole. He turned around to face George, who was holding said "fishing pole" and had a smile on his face.

Mega giggled and stood on his toes, wrapping his arms around George's neck as they kissed. George smiled into it, wrapping one arm around Mega's waist and using the other to continue holding the mistletoe above their heads. When they let go at last, George placed the mistletoe on the counter so he could help Mega with the cookies.

On Christmas morning, George woke up first. He reached over to the bedside table and picked up the mistletoe rod, which he'd left there the night before. He dangled it above Mega, who was still sleeping, and began to pepper kisses all over his face.

Mega smiled and giggled as he blinked open his eyes. Love swelled in George's heart at the happy, sleepy grin on Mega's face.

"Merry Christmas," George said and kissed Mega's forehead.

The smaller boy moved his hands from where they were gripping George's shirt to cup his face, kissing him on the lips. "Merry Christmas," he responded.
