I told him that I wanted us to wait. I'm afraid to get too close to anyone because everyone who said they would stay... left. But I really do want him back. He was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Sophie puts on her clothes and puts on her makeup. She puts on her shoes and grabs her phone and walks out the door.

(Her car is being repaired, so she doesn't have it.)

She walks down the sidewalk, people walking everywhere also.

A 16 year old boy looks at her and smirks.

"Damn baby." Says the boy.

Sophie rolls her eyes and keeps walking.

A group of 3, 20 year old men walk next to Sophie, following her.

"Hey girl!" Says one of them.

Sophie keeps walking, trying to avoid them.

"You look so damn fine girl." Says another.

This is why I never walk alone...

"You so beautiful girl." Says another.

"Why you goin' so fast sweet thang? Huh?"

Sophie keeps walking and they eventually stop following her.

A group of teens do the whistle to her.

"Daaaaaamn!" Say the teens.

Sophie looks at them angrily and then keeps walking.

Sophie's eyes turn purple and her hands turn into fists.

She pulls out her phone and calls Gigi.

"Hey G." Says Sophie walking.

"Hey Soph. What are you up to?"

"These guys keep cat-calling at me ughhh."

"Ugh. Those dudes are the worst. Where are you?"

"On the south side of Raleigh."

"The guys there are horrible. Stay safe and tell them what they deserve!"

"Okay, thanks Gigi." Says Sophie before hanging up.

Sophie puts her phone back in her purse and keeps walking.

"Hey girl! Nice legs baby!" Says another man.

20 MINUTES LATER...

Sophie walks out of the Starbucks with her Strawberry Frappiccino. She stands up against a wall and drinks it.

She texts Link: Can you come pick me up at the Starbucks? My car is in the shop.

A man walks by and says,"C'mon sweetness, let's smile."

Sophie scoffs and rolls her eyes.

"Damn that ass would look so good on my couch. You watch reality tv? How are you at foot rubs?" Says another.

A car slows down as it drives by with the window rolled down.

The man in the car says,"Hey baby. You hear me? You hear me?"

Sophie nods no angrily without even looking up.

"Yeah, because you're a good listener!" Says the man in the car smirking.

A man walks by and stands beside her.

"Hey sweet thing! I wonder what's under that shirt. I bet its a good heart!"

He puts his arm on her shoulder.

Sophie moves the other direction.

"Love your hair baby. And those eyes."

Sophie rolls her eyes.

"Damn you're cute! Wanna go back to my place? We can eat pizza! We can hold each other all night!"

"Leave me alone." Says Sophie.

"I'm just try'na be nice girl! C'mon sweets. Let's have a family baby!"

"Leave me alone." Says Sophie, her hands balling into fists.

"Why would I do that sweets? You are so beautiful!"

"Back off!" Says Sophie.

"Whoa girl! You talk to your parents with that mouth? Put that mouth against mine!"

"F*ck off already!" Yells Sophie.

"C'mon baby. Don't be like that! Come with me. Be my girlfriend."

"I have a boyfriend!"

"Forget him! Let's be together forever."

"I said f*ck off!" Yells Sophie.

The man grabs her arm and pulls her into the dark alley and into the backseat of a car.

He pushes her into the car and climbs in, closing the door behind him. He pulls off his shirt and puts his hand over her mouth to stop her yelling.

She bites his hand really hard and screams.

"HELP! HELP ME LINK!" Screams Sophie. "PLEASE HELP!"

"Ooh. You're a feisty one! I like that." Says the man.

"PLEASE HELP ME LINK!!!"

"He can't hear you! Your little boyfriend can't help you!"

The man grabs her shirt and pulls it off of her.

"Let me go you asshole!" Yells Sophie.

The man pins her down and kisses her hard.

He pulls off his pants and then hers.

As he kisses her, Sophie bites his lip as hard as she can.

"Ow!" Says the man, his lip bleeding.

He kisses her again and moves the kiss slowly down her neck.

Sophie breaks one hand free of his grip and slaps him across the face.

"Oh you wanna play rough do you?" Says the man smirking and digging his nails into her arms, cutting through her skin.

"HELP LINK! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!" Screams Sophie.

The door of the car swings open.

The man turns around angrily.

"SOPHIE!" Yells the person.

IT'S LINK!

Link grabs the man's shoulder and pulls him out of the car.

"Oh this is your little wimpy girlfriend?" Yells the man 10 feet away from Link.

"What have you done to her?!" Yells Link.

"I already raped her! You're too late! She let me do it!" Lies the man. He grabs Sophie's arm and pulls her out of the car.

He kicks Sophie's shins and she falls to her knees.

He pulls out his gun and points at her head.

"You want to save her don't you? Come and get her!" Yells the man.

"Link please go! I don't want you hurt again! Run away!" Yells Sophie to Link.

"Shut up or I'll pull the trigger!" Yells the man to Sophie.

"I'm not leaving you!" Yells Link.

Link runs towards the man and kicks him in his crotch.

"Ow! You wimpy asshole!" Yells the man as he falls to the ground and drops the gun.

Link slides the gun underneath the car with his foot and picks Sophie up. He runs over to the wall and sets her down.

"Stay here okay?" Says Link.

"I'm not going to sit here and watch you do this! I don't want you hurt!" Says Sophie standing up.

"Stay here!" Yells Link.

"I'm not just going to sit here!" Yells Sophie.

"I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!" Screams Link.

Sophie looks at Link in shock.

"I can't do that." Says Link calmly and sadly.

"And I can't either."

"Please. I love you. Stay here."

Sophie nods and then falls back down to her knees in pain.

Link runs to the man and punches him in the face.

"That's for Sophie!" Yells Link.

The man lands one punch right in Link's jaw.

A police car drives into the alley quickly and handcuffs the man. They then put him in the police car

A policeman walks up to Sophie and bends down to her.

"Miss. Were you the victim of this?" Asks the policeman.

"Y-Yes." Stutters Sophie.

"What happened?"

"That man... He started flirting with me. I told him to leave m-me alone and he pulled me into that car. He pinned me down and tried to rape me." Says Sophie crying.

"This man was a criminal who escaped from prison. He's going back to prison for the rest of his life. Stay safe and take care."

The man gets up and walks back inside the police car.

The police drive away and Link runs over to Sophie.

He hands Sophie her shirt and she puts it on.

He picks her up wedding style and carries her to his car.

He gets into the car and drives back to Sophie's dorm.

Link carries Sophie inside and sets her on the bed.

He walks to the kitchen to make her some hot cocoa and his phone rings.

He answers it quietly, making sure Sophie can't hear him.

"Hey Justin." Says Link.

"Link! Turn on the tv for your girlfriend right now! They are playing the interview with me where I talk about the song and they even play it!"

"Great! Thanks dude." Says Link before hanging up.

He runs into Sophie's room and turns on the tv.

ON THE TV

"So Justin, where did you get the inspiration to write 'Sorry'?"

"Actually, I didn't write the song..."

"You didn't?"

"No. There was this guy named Link Neal who wrote it for his girlfriend Sophie. He gave me the lyrics and I recorded it."

"Wow. Could you tell us a little bit about the song?"

"Yeah. Link wrote this as an apology to his girlfriend basically telling her that he's sorry for everything that happened. I thought the song was brilliant, so we recorded it."

"Here's 'Sorry'."

The whole song plays and Sophie listens and tries not to cry.

Sophie looks to Link and gets up. She runs to him and hugs him tight.

"That song is beautiful." Says Sophie. "I forgive you Link."

"Thanks Soph." Says Link hugging her back.

Link looks over at Sophie sitting on the other end of the bed scrolling through her phone.

He leans over and kisses her neck.

Sophie pushes him away.

"What's wrong?" Asks Link. "I thought you forgave me."

"I did, but I never said we were back together." Says Sophie putting her phone down.

"You don't love me?"

No comment.

Link leans in and tries to kiss her but she turns away.

"Noooo" groans Sophie.

"What?"

"I don't feel hot."

"You look hot! What are you talking about?"

"I'm ugly!"

"You're beautiful!"

"Ughh. It's getting late and we have class tomorrow."

(College classes)

"Can I kiss you before I leave?" Asks Link.

"We might not see each other for a while... So yes."

Link forces a smile and then grabs Sophie's hand. His fingers intertwine with Sophie's and she bites her lip.

Link presses his lips against hers and passionately kisses her. She kisses him back harder and he moans.

Sophie grabs his shirt with one hand and puts her other hand in his silky hair. She moves her hands to his face and pulls off his glasses and sets them on the bed.

She softly bites his lip and puts her hands around his neck.

Sophie then pulls away.

Hold on there girl. He's not your boyfriend Sophie. Thinks Sophie.
