Part 45 | Flirt

"Welcome your Highnesses" the Royal Guards at the doors greeted, bowing their heads in acknowledgment.

"Not me" Wanda whispered with a laugh, nudging you lightly. "I'll wait outside while you talk to the King."

"Probably for the best" Thor nodded. "Unfortunately, Father is not the most welcoming of mortals."

"Jackass" you muttered, Loki snickering beside you.

After the wedding, Odin had returned to being cold to you. Loki was upset about this, and refused to accept the King's attempt at kindness towards him until he treated you the same.

"Please come inside with us' Loki urged to the nervous looking witch. "Anything to piss him off would be wonderful."

"Loki" Frigga sighed, trying to hide her smile.

"No Mother, when he starts treating my wife correctly then I shall do the same."

"Frigga, I apologise in advance for anything offensive I might say towards your husband" you said to her as you all stood outside the tall golden doors that led to the Throne Room.

"Apology accepted" she grinned, using her magic to open them before striding inside. "I'm back dear."

"Ah, Frigga" Odin smiled, standing up. "Welcome back my sons."

"Hello Father" Thor greeted, Loki giving him a nod. "We bring with us our good friend from Midgard, Wanda Maximoff."

"Hello AllFather" she said nervously.

Frigga gave him a stern look as the King sighed.

"And hello Y/n" he added, giving yo a curt nod.

"Sup Odin" you smirked, giving a wonky curtesy as Frigga laughed quietly. "Must be tragic to see me, I feel you sorrow from down here."

"There is no sorrow young princess, I am happy to see my son happy" he bristled. "With whomever that may be, royal blood or not."

"Don't stab he King, don't stab the King, don't stab the King-" you muttered repeatedly.

"So, how are you finding Midgard my sons?" he asked pleasantly, looking at the two brothers.

"Very enjoyable!" Thor grinned.

"And you Loki?" Odin questioned.

"Also enjoyable" the God replied.

"And what brings you home? A sentimental visit?"

Loki rolled his eyes as you did the same, the King sighing slightly.

"I wanted to talk to Y/n and Wanda about their prophecies" Frigga explained. "Well, mainly young Wanda, N/n seems to have it mostly under control."

"Damn I must be a good actress then" you whispered to Loki. "I have no idea what I'm doing."

"I think you're doing very well my dear" he whispered back, wrapping an arm around your waist.

"I wanted to help her with her abilities as much as I can" the Queen continued. "I know it must be scary to have all of that supposedly set out for you."

"Scary is an understatement" Wanda murmured.

"Very well" Odin nodded. "I wish you all the best."

"Wonderful" you sighed in relief, turning to leave.

"And where do you think you're going?" he called out.

"I have decided to become a priest, so with the good grace of God, I leave you" you answered, bowing sarcastically (I'm sorry if you are Religious, this is in no way an insult to your beliefs, this is all fictional fun.)

"I haven't dismissed you."

"Well that's great. This is a conversation, not a council meeting."

Loki chuckled as you finished, taking your hand ad teleporting the to of you to your room (When I say your room, I mean you and Loki's.)

"What would you have done if I didn't like green and gold?" you grinned as you looked around at the elegant room.

"Told you to fix your opinions" he smirked.

"Rude" you scoffed, flopping face first onto the bed.

——————————————————————

A few hours later, you were about to head off to dinner.

Frigga had decided to let you and Wanda settle in for the rest of the day, and you would meet in the library early tomorrow morning.

Loki had been called to a security meeting and hour ago by Odin, much to his annoyance and was meeting you in Dining Hall for 'family dinner' (Odin's words.)

Closing the door to your bedroom behind you, you wandered down the elegant hallways, admiring everything.

"Hello Princess Y/n! I wasn't aware you had returned to Asgard!" A voice called out pleasantly.

Turning on your heel, you saw Fandral walking up to you with a large smile.

"Oh, hello Fandral, nice to see you" you greeted. "And yes, I was called here by Frigga with a friend of mine, we're only staying a few days."

"Is this friend of yours as beautiful as you?" He flirted, giving you a wink.

You rolled your eyes. "That's none of your business. Are you incapable of not flirting with the first person that wanders into your sight?"

"Well then, I guess I'll have to stick with you" he grinned, ignoring your last comment.

"I'm married asshat, plus I wouldn't want you anyway."

He feigned hurt, holding a hand to his heart. "Wow, so harsh. Plus, it's not like Loki has to know."

"Prince Loki to you" you snapped, frustrated now as he tried to put his hand on your waist. "Fuck off before I stab you."

He ignored you, and you were conjuring your knife when Loki appeared behind him, shoving him away roughly.

"Let me stab people!" You complained.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" He challenged, ignoring you and leaning over Fandral who was lying on the floor. "She said no."

"But-"

"No is no" he responded harshly. "Give me one good reason not to rip out your vial organs right now."

"I have one, he's an asshole" you grumbled.

"Loki, you're not stabbing anyone" Thor warned, taking his brothers shoulder and pulling him back gently. "I'll deal with him."

"If he lays a hand on-"

"He won't" Thor reassured as Fandral got up, looking annoyed. "Go, I'll meet you at dinner."

"Thank you" Loki sighed, taking your hand and teleporting the pair of you away. "Are you alright love?"

"Quite fine, just pissed off" you sighed, kissing his cheek. "Thank you, but can I please stab people on my own?"

"You shouldn't stab people in the castle."

"You were going to!"

The god smirked. "Yes, well I'm known for it."
