Shana's P.O.V

While the second round of the S-Class trials was going underway and we had to find Mavis' grave, I had sensed an evil aura here on the island. Not like this, I decided to look into it. When I came across the source I found Elfman and Evergreen companied by an unfamiliar face.

As I started questioning the guy, who was really wired he unleashed this powerful attack that made me even froze in place. Luckily my ass got saved by a pinked haired dragon boy. 

"Hey, do you mind getting off me?" I lifted my head up as I was stilled pinned faced down on the ground.  "Could you give us a heads up next time?" Elfman asked too. 

"Natsu. Nietono No Shana." The man in front of us spoke our names.  

I felt Natsu's body trembled on top of me. Who the heck is this guy?

"Natsu! Did you need to use the bushes to make a stinky, or are we not going to the top?" Happy flew down by us. I did notice that everything around was now lifeless. "There's definitely a stink here. But I'm not the one you should be blaming for it." Natsu said helping me get up as we glared at the guy in black robes.  Kilala growled at him as the fur on her body stood up. 

Happy gasped taking in on what's happening. "Whoa! How did all the trees die?" He waved his arms up and down. "Not just the trees, everything's withered." Evergreen pointed out. "Except us." Elfman mentioned not knowing if he should feel relief or not.  "We should thank Natsu for that. If he hadn't come when he did, our fated might've been the same." Alastor informed. 

That energy is something I never felt before. It even had me frighten.  

"This guy did all that damaged?" Happy questioned not believing someone could have that much power. "He's no ordinary wizard." Evergreen stated obviously. "What's with the sissy tears?" Elfman questioned the tears the fell down the guys face. 

I kept my guar up. "Alastor?" I whispered with a shaky voice. This gut feeling in my stomach wouldn't go away. "His magic power is overwhelming, even for me." Alastor mentions. 

"Look pal, this island is off-limits to anyone who's not in the Fairy Tail guild! Keep your freaky death cloud out of our trial!" Natsu shouted at him.  

"You two grown so much." He mutters as I raised an eyebrow at him. "Huh?" Natsu and I muttered too. "I've missed you, Natsu, Nietono No Shana." 

"Natsu!" I called out to him as he charged to attack. 

"Tell me who you are, or I'll hit harder!" Natsu punches the guy back. 

Everyone gasped. "Cheap shot!" Evergreen commented sweat dropping. "Yeah, he cold-cocked him." Elfman's eyes popped open. "That's how he does things." Happy deadpanned. "Unfortunately." Alastor said.

"Idiot! Don't go rushing in like that when we don't even know what's he capable of." I scolded him. I know this guys real dangerous we shouldn't even be any where near him, if he can make anything around him die without blinking an eye. 

Though the guy swiftly lands on the ground as if nothing happened. How does this guy know us?

"You better tell me who you are, bub. I won't ask again." Natsu demanded getting aggravated. 

All the guy did was cry even more. What's with this guy? "Uh, why is he crying?" Happy asked not know why the guy is acting so strange.  "His creep factor's sky-high." Evergreen commented. 

"What's with you, Shana?" Elfman questioned snapping me out of my daze. I grabbed my right arm. I didn't even realize I was trembling. I never did this before in a battle. 

"I-I..."I couldn't find the right words to speak. Natsu glances over his shoulder to look at me. Come on stop shaking. 

Suddenly the black robe guy gasped again as his eyes widen. That feeling  of fear again hit. Black energy surrounded him. "Run! Now!" He warned us. 

"What the heck?" Happy shouted as we stepped back. "It's the same black wave we saw earlier." Elfman mentions. "It instantly drains the life force of everything it touches." Evergreen sweat drops.   "Everyone get back!" Alastor yelled. 

"Natsu!" Happy screamed for him. 

"Move your ass, Shana!" Natsu shouts as he embraced me to shield me from the attack but we ended up getting engulfed by the black wave. 

"No!" Happy yelled as he and Kilala tried to come after us but was grabbed by Elfman. "Don't be stupid. You go back there and you'll be killed." Elfman scolded the cats. 

After the attacked hit it seemed that everyone was alright. "You okay?" Natsu asked, groaning as he pushed himself off me. I weakly open my eyes and just nod. "Uh-huh."  I said sitting up. How did we managed to even survived that. "Well, that sucked." He said sitting on his butt.  "Be thankful that the barrier around Neitono No Shana saved you both." Alastor explained. "Shana's sword?" Natsu questioned. I glanced down and saw the inside of my cape was glowing. "I keep forgetting it has that power." I tried to chuckle. I sigh in relief. I never felt that terrified in my life. 

"You're alive!" Happy shouted from above us and Kilala jumped on my back. I smiled knowing she was okay. "What about him? It looked like he lost controlled." Natsu mentioned. 

"He's gone." Alastor said. 

"Natsu, what happened to your scarf? It turned black." Happy shouted point to the scarf that Natsu always wore. The one Igneel gave him. We gasped the scarf the was one white was now coated with blackness. Natsu grabbed on to it angrily.  Wait did my sword protected us, or was it Natsu's scarf? Or was it both? "He'll pay for this. Next time I see that punk, he's getting a fiery first to the face." He threaten. 

I sweat dropped at him. I know I wouldn't want to go near that freak again. I sensed nothing but death around him. 

"Are you gonna be alright, Shana?" Elfman asked approaching us. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry for being careless, his magic energy just overwhelmed me. It's nothin I've ever seen before." I said glancing the other way. 

"Where did he go?" Natsu asked standing up. "He has no idea how bad he's going to get pounded when I get my hands on him." Natsu stared back down to his now black scarf. "Sorry." Happy apologized. "I mean, how does he expect me to go out in public wearing a black scarf with a black vest?" He stomped around. 

We all sweat dropped. "Wow, I never thought Natsu was concern about fashion." Elfman said. "Me neither." Evergreen agreed. 

I still can't but shake off this feeling that black wizard isn't the only think we need to worry about. "I feel like we need to warn Master Makarov and the others about that mysterious wizard and put the trial on hold for now." I announced. "I agree with you there." Alastor said

"There's no way I'm ditching the trial!" Natsu shouted at me. "A real man would conquer both at the same time!" Elfman said. Natsu and Elfman glared at each other and bickered. 

I sigh and began walking. "And where are you going?" Natsu asked with his fang showing. "If you idiots still gonna go after the S-Class be my guess. I couldn't care less about the trail at the moment. I'm finding the old man. You guys should know that my sensory for sensing trouble is always right. This time it's no different." I glanced back to the front were I was walking. 

The four of them all sweat dropped. It may have stopped on the outside but in the inside I'm still shaking with fear.  "Watch your backs." I warned them as I continued off. The whole time I felt Natsu's eyes pried at my back.

As I ran through the forest I was surrounded by a bunch of weirdo's in purple capes. "What the heck is going on?" I asked going back to back with Kilala. "They're from Grimorie Heart." Alastor points out their guild emblem. I glared at them. "I don't think the old man had his in mind." I staid getting into my fighting stance. Just great, why are we suddenly being ambushed? I just hope the others are doing okay. I need to figure out how to signal them and quick. 

I did a couple hands signs. "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" I summoned a bunch of clones to match of how out numbered I saw.
