Shana's P.O.V

Outside the guild Lucy was playing with Wendy's hair. " Thanks I needed a haircut." Wendy smiled at her. " Well, I'm glad to help! I don't have the scissor skills of Cancer. But it doesn't take much to make you look super cute." Lucy complemented.  " Aw. That's sweet of you to say. you made an absolutely perfect afternoon like this, feel even better!" Wendy cheered. 

Lucy giggles. " Hey, Shana!" She turns around to see me sleeping against the tree. She and Wendy titled their heads. " Shana!" The celestial wizard genteelly shakes me.  " Shut up! Shut up Shut up!" I jolted straight up, causing her and Wendy to yell in surprise. 

" Relax Shana. It's just Lucy and Wendy." Alastor told me. I let out a big yawn. " Oh, sorry about that?" I nervously scratch my head. 

" Don't worry about it. I was gonna ask you if want me to do your hair?" Lucy asked. " What's the matter with you? You look more tired than you usually today?" Carla asked. I deadpanned at the white cat. I know she didn't mean it in a bad way. 

I groan. " Yeah, cause I haven't been able to sleep at all! Not with those two numskulls throwing a fit every second." I told rubbing my eyes. 

" Do you mean, Gray and Natsu?" Wendy asked. 

I nod. " What have they been doing?" Lucy asked nervously worried. The rest of the guild doesn't know but I only told Lucy and Wendy cause they're my closest friends. 

" They just argue of who gets the bed." I simply said crossing my arms.  Lucy laughs. " How childish can they get?"  Wendy looked at us confused. 

We then turned our attention to Natsu, who appears to sweeping which is scary cause he never does any cleaning. " Hey!" Natsu shouts at me. I groan knowing this can't be good.

" Hey! No slacking!" Natsu shouted at me. " What are you talking about?" I asked crossing my arms. So much for taking a nap. " You're supposed to be heling me with all this yard work!" He pointed out. I gave him the huh look? " Give me a break will ya? I'm still recovering my energy for when I transformed. And I never promised you anything!" I argued. Okay, so maybe I forgot that I was supposed to help him earn some money for food. But I'm beat up. 

" That's your fault! I told you not to transform but you just had to be a show off didn't ya?!" He continues to shout.  I deadpanned. 

" So what are you two idiots flapping your gums about this time? The work would go a lot faster if you didn't stop to complain about it." Gray asked interrupting our little argument. I didn't even want to have an argument to begin with.  

" Who asked you, frostbite? And for the record, I'm not complaining about cleaning up, I'm just saying the dog should help!" Natsu argued pointing a flinger at me. I would've have beat the crap outta him for calling me a dog, but It was such a nice day to even do that. 

" It's snack time, Kilala." I smiled at the twin tails placing her fish bowl in front of her. She meowed and wiggled her tails digging in. 

" You can't just ignore me when I'm talkin' to you!" Natsu yelled. I sigh. 

" Whaddaya know. It's been seven years and Natsu hasn't changed one bit. Still a brat." Max teased him. 

" What, are you surprised? He's been that way practically his entire life!" Happy also teased in. " The cats right." I agreed with the blue exceed. 

" Are you tryin' to say that you've changed? I mean, obviously besides getting old and stuff." Natsu mocked him. 

"Yeah. I've gotten older on the outside, but I still feel pretty young in the inside." Max grins. 

" So, what you're tryin' to tell us is basically just an immature old fart?" Gray made fun of him.  " Looks that way to me." I joked in. 

" If you want me to show you my new skills, you're on!"  Max argued. 

Natsu ran to him. " Ha! Bring it, ya' dusty ol' geezer! Let's throw down right here!" Natsu accepted his challenge throwing away the broom he had. 

" Thought you'd never ask!" Max smirked. 

" Not gonna stop him, are you?" Alastor questioned me. " Nope!" I said popping the 'p'. If he wants to fight him be my guess. 

" Hey, wait! You two are gonna fight right now?" Lucy asked worriedly. 

" Sounds like a plan to me. It's perfect weather for a little outdoor sparring match, dontcha thing?" Gray pointed out he had no problem with it. 

" Yeah! Now I've got a fire in my belly." Natsu says getting excited. 

" Let's rock!" Max smirked. 

Natsu was the first one to charge at him. I gasped when Max easily dogged his fire punch and kicked him right in the guts. " What? Are you kiddin' me?" Even Natsu was shocked that he just hit by Max. 

" Do you seriously think that we just sat around and did nothing the whole time you guys were gone?  We've all been working our on our fighting chop!" Max stated. 

Honestly, I did think they would just be sitting around and crying over us but damn did not expect this to happen. 

" I don't believe it." Wendy mutters. 

" Natsu is getting schooled by Max?" Lucy was also shocked. 

I lifted my hand up. " Just so were clear! I ain't healing anybody today!" I know exactly how this is gonna turn out. " Man, you're cruel." Gray teased with a small sweat dropped. 

" Well, it ain't over yet, pal!" Natsu went in for a few punches but Max avoided every single one. 

" Sand Rebellion!" Max hit him with his sand attack. 

" Now you're just pissing me off!" Natsu shouted. 

We gust of sand blew our way. " Do you mind!" Carla yelled as we coughed from the sand. " Teach him a lesson, Natsu!" Happy cheered him on. 

" Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" 

" Sand Wall!" Max blocked Natsu's move. 

Natsu growled frustrated. " I'm a whole lot stronger than I use to be." Max teased him. 

" Max is beating Natsu. That is so crazy!"  Vijeeter said. " I never thought I'd see the day." Warren mutters. Let's just say everyone's pretty shocked 

Max chuckled. I sigh. " Here it comes." I said knowing Natsu's next move. " Lighting Flame Dragon mode!" He powered up. And he calls me a show off. 

"Holy cow!" Lucy says forgetting that he's able to do that. 

" Whoa! I don't think I'm ready for this!" Max takes a step back being overwhelmed by  Natsu's new move. 

" Lighting Flame Dragon Roar!" 

My mouth dropped seeing how Natsu created a huge ass blast. Max just stood there looking terrified barely avoiding it. Holy fuck, the kid almost killed him. " Aw, man! I thought that would be like a hundred times stronger!" Natsu whined. 

" When did you figure out you could use that technique?" Lucy questioned him. 

" I thought it was just a one time thing?" Alastor said. 

" Just now." Natsu simply said. I anime fell. He can't be serious?

" Well... that's it for me. I give up, man. Wasn't really planning on getting killed today." Max said nervously. That was quick, Guess he didn't want to piss Natsu off further. 

" Which one of you is next in line?" Natsu smirked at the others. " I'm good, thanks though!" Warren quickly refused. smart move. 

Natsu laughs crazily but then he stumbles over. " It would make sense that attack would use up a lot of power." Lucy stated. " You should probably practice a bit more before you pulled that one out in a real fight." Happy pointed out. 

" I never knew you were such a good fighter, Max." Wendy complimented him. " Thanks, but I still have such a long way to go." He says scratching his head. 

" If everybody in the guild has gotten that much more powerful, why is it that you let Twilight Ogre bully you around for so long?" Alastor questioned them.   

" It's a little bit more complicated than that." Vijeeter said. " It was more of a problem with cash flow." Warren mentioned. " You don't expect us to settle our debts with brute force, do you?" Nab said. 

I deadpanned. " You guys are such wimps."

" Listen up, guys. I'm afraid the guild has got a serious problem on our hands." Gray called out. " What do you mean by that?" Lucy questioned not quiet getting him. 

" He means, while Gildarts and Laxus are still the powerhouse while we gotten weaker in the seven years." I explained more clearly to her. 

" Yeah, you guys got a point. I mean Natsu came really close to getting shown up by Max, of all people." Lucy agreed. " You're right, and he's really weak." Wendy said. 

" At least she was nice enough not to say it to my face." Max mutters sweat dropping. 

" I wonder if anyone knows a way for us to give our magic power a super fast boot?" Happy started to questioned. 

" How about your mom, Shana? You think she can help us?" Lucy asked. 

I frown. " I doubt it. Crazy thing is so wasted from being retired as Hogake. She spends 24//7 drinking like her life depends on it." I told them my mother isn't so reliable. 

" I might know someone." Alastor mentions.

We all stood nervously in front of  Porlyusica. " Scram!" She shut the door in our faces.  Kilala growled and hid behind me. " Sorry to bother you, ma'am! But we were wondering if you had any potions that could help us?" Lucy spoke even though she was already inside. " Like maybe something that can make us all a million times stronger?" Natsu added. 

" There's probably no way I'd be that easy." Gray mutters. " I told you guys, we're just gonna have to train the old fashion way." I told them. 

" What's the matter child, you seem upset?" Carla asked noticing there was something troubling her. She shook her head. 

Suddenly Porlyusica opened her door. " You know I hate people, so get lost!" She yelled. Shoo! Shoo!" She yelled at us. 

" Sorry to bother you!" Lucy shouted. 

" Why does she hate us?" Natsu asked. 

" Is it cause she and Gramps used to date?" Gray suggested. I deadpanned. 

" We weren't a couple you fool!" Porlyusica yelled. 

" Nice going, ice boy!" I shouted.

We all let out a breath after running far from Porlyusica. " Hey, who's brilliant idea was it to visit Porlyusica in the first place?" Lucy questioned tiredly. 

" It was Shana's fault!" Natsu mutter. I eyed him. " I have you know, it was actually, Alastor." I corrected him.

" She's usually so sweet and charming. " Gray joked. 

" I'd always heard she wasn't found of people, but never expected all that." Carla said. " Apparently, she's not keen on cats either." Happy added. 

I gasped hearing Wendy sobbing. " What's up, Wendy? Why you, cryin'?" I questioned the young dragon slayer. " Did that old lady scare you?" Gray asked her. 

" That witch made Wendy cry? She'll pay for that!" Natsu yelled. 

Wendy shook her head while sobbing. " It's not like that! She's just so familiar." She pointed out.  " Have you two met before?" Carla asked her. " I don't really know how to explain it, exactly. It sound strange but it's the truth. Her voice and her scent. They're so much like Grandeeney'." 

We gasped. " Are you tryin' to tell us she's Grandeeney?" Gray questioned her. " How's that possible?" I asked confused. 

" Yeah, Wendy. Whaddya mean?" Natsu gently asked her.

" I don't know. But she's so familiar! It's confusing." Wendy sobbed. " She sounds and smells exactly like my mother, the Sky Dragon Grandeena." 

" I say we go back there and ask her what's goin' on." Natsu suggested turning around. " Wait, Natsu. If she's the human version of Grandeena, there a few things that don't add up. Just think about it for a second." Gray stopped him. 

" Well, first of all, your guy's dragons vanished without a trace at the same time. And don't forget the dragon that raised Gajieel also disappeared on the exact same day. All in the year 777, which was fourteen years ago. But master Makarov has known Porlyusica way longer than that. They were friends back when they were both fairy young. So that means she and Grandeena were around the same time. It just doesn't add up. I wish it could be true, but there's no way they could be one and the same." Lucy explained to us. 

" I guess that counts out any kind of reincarnation or transformation." Gray pointed out. " Yeah." I nod agreeing. 

" Y'know, when you stop and explain it like that, it really doesn't make any sense. Besides her voice and the way she smells, her attitude is completely different." Wendy stated.  

" From all the stories you've told me, your dragon was actually quite found to people." Carla mentioned. 

" Wait a second. Ya think it's because she hates cats?" Happy stupidly asked. " Grandeena was nice. She didn't hate anybody." Wendy defended her dragon mother. 

"Sorry, but it's kind of hard for me to picture a nice dragon." Gray said thinking about our run in with Acnologia. 

" Igneel was usually pretty nice." Natsu also added in. 

" Yeah, Amphitrite too. Unless, you somehow found a way to piss her off then well, that's another story." I waved my hand in front of me. She was really bad ass. 

"Sorry if my attitude offends you!" 

We gasped to see Porlyusica right behind us. " Ms. Porlyusica." Lucy said. " You cared the crap outta me." Gray mutters. 

Wendy walked up to her. " There's really no use in hiding it anymore, so I might as well, tell you my big secret. I know it's not what you want to hear, but I'm not the dragon that you seek. I'm just a human being, same as you." Porlyusica said. 

" But why do you hate human so much?" Natsu questioned her. 

" Because they ask a lot of stupid questions." She sighs annoyed. 

Natsu frowns. " Sorry." He mutters. 

" I'm afraid I can't tell you where dragon is. I simply don't know. The fact of the matter is, we have no direct connection whatsoever." She stated clearly. 

" Then how do you explain your similarities?" I asked her. How could she have the same voice and scent if she's not really Grandeena? 

" You're familiar with the alternate world of Edolas are you not? Rumor has it that you've been there. I've heard that you even met your counterparts. Saw how our worlds correlate." She started to explain more. 

" How do you know about Edolas?" Gray asked her. 

I gasped figuring it out. " Are you saying your from there?" I asked her knowing that had to be the case then. 

" Every being in Earth Land has a counterpart there, including dragons. So one could argue that I am the Edolas version of your friend Grandeena. I am not from this world.  But I found myself here several decades ago." She explained. 

" What?!" We all shouted. 

" You're the Edolas Grandeena?" Carla was shocked. 

" Like a human version of a dragon?" Happy asked. 

" I was disoriented when I arrived but Makarov came to my aid. The peacefulness and beauty that I discovered here quickly endeared me to Earth Land. So even though I had several opportunities to return to Edolas. I had made my decision to call your world my new home." She stated.

" Does this mean that Igneel, Amphitrite and Metallicana have human versions back in Edolas too? Maybe they crossed over just like you did!" Natsu suggested. If only it could be that easy. 

" I have no idea. I've never encountered them. However, I did have the chance to speak with the Sky Dragon. " She mentions. 

Wendy gasped. " Although we didn't meet in a traditional sense. It was more mysterious. She spoke directly into my mind, by way of telepathy. You original came here seeking out means to gain power. I may be able to help Wendy and Nietono No Shana in that regard. But only them." She pulled out stacks of paper. 

"Huh? Me?" I asked blinking my eyes. 

" The Sky and Water Dragons dictated this book of spells. It contains, among other things, the Sky and Water Dragons spells. Some Dragon Secret Arts they never got to teach you." She handed me the book. 

" Why do I get one?" I asked seeing she didn't answer my question. 

" Apparently both of your Dragons were very closed friends.  Amphitrite had given some instructions to Grandeena, who passed on to me during our meeting." She said. 

I stared at the book in total shock. " I don't know what to say. Grandeena and Shana's dragon really did this?" Wendy asked. 

" They asked me to give them to you if you should ever come to visit. Those are powerful spells. Extremely dangerous. So be sure to exercise great caution." Porlyusica started walking away. 

" Thank you so much, Ms. Porlyusica!" Wendy bowed to her. " Ms. Grandeena!" She smiled. 

I scuffed looking at the book. " Don't need it!" I threw it away. Everyone looked at me. " What's your problem? Aren't you happy that your dragon left you something?" Natsu questioned me. I stopped walking as my bangs covered my eyes. " If she wanted to teach me more spells she wouldn't have abandoned me in the first place!" I yelled. The pain of feeling loneliness after she left me came back. I held back the tears that wanted to threaten to fall. 

I could tell they were all frowning at me. I didn't need that right now. I ignored it and walked away from them. I've got other things worry about. If  Amphitrite wanted to teach me these spells then she should come and teach them herself.

Feeling myself gotten further away from the others,  my feet stopped in the middle of the forest. " Will you quit following me already?!" I shouted to him that's been secretly in the shadows. I heard rustling through the grass as they made themselves known. 

I glanced behind me. " Sesshomaru!" I eyed him. 

" It's been a long time.... Nietono No Shana." He simply said in that emotionless voice. 

I glared at him keeping my guard up. " What the heck do you want?!"  

" Lord Sesshomaru! We finally caught up with you!" A little green demon came running behind with a another small human girl. The green demon feel right in his face. 

" Ew, what is that thing?" I raised my eyebrow staring at it.

" Who are you calling 'thing'! I'm Jaken, Sesshomaru's rightful henchmen!" He argued. 

I scratch the inside of my god ear. " Oh Jaken the shrimp." I teased. The little girl laughed. 

He grew an anime vain. " That's master Jaken to you!" 

" I don't think she cares, master Jaken." The little girl told him.  

I shook my head. " What are even doing here?" I questioned the sudden visit. 

" Well, we heard from Myoga the flea that you and some of your guild members disappeared seven years ago." Jaken spoke. 

"Word travels fast huh?" Alastor said. 

" Why do you care, what happened?" I asked them. My lips formed a smirked. " Aw, don't tell me that you were actually worried about your little sister now." I teased him. 

Sesshomaru glared at me. " Don't fool yourself. I couldn't care less what happens to you. I only cared about the sword." 

I deadpanned. Wow! He can't even show some remorse? I did almost died! I sigh.  " Keep dreaming big bro. Even I were to die, the barrier around Nietono No Shana rejects you. So there's no way you'd be able to wield it."

He scuffs and begins to walk away. I blink did he really just came by to see if my sword was okay besides me? Nah, he's bluffing. 

" Lord Sesshomaru wait for me!" Jaken panicked and began to follow him. The little girl did to but stop very quick to bow to me. " Nice meeting you, Lady Nietono No Shana." She waved before she went to catch up to my brother. 

" Lord Sesshomaru, your sister is a very pretty women." The girl smiled at the dog demon. Of course he didn't say anything. I was speechless she said that. " Quiet Rin! Lord Sesshomaru doesn't think of her like that!" Jaken yelled at the girl. 

An image of when Michelle got transformed back into a doll appeared in my mind. I clenched my teeth.  

I didn't realize the my feet began to move in a certain direction. All I know was that I heard a gasped. " Even if you can't admit it.... thanks for checking up on me... big brother!" I was back hugging him.  Why? 

" If you ever come close to me again, I'll kill you. He threatens shoving me off. I didn't take it personally. 

" See ya later big bro!" I giggled teasing him running off in the other direction. 

I couldn't help but smile making my way back to the guild. What could've possible made Sesshomaru come and see me anyways? It's not like him at all. Well, what ever the case is, part of me is happy I got to see him again. Even if we don't see eye to eye. I envied the relationship Lucy and Michelle had. I wondered what that sibling love feels like? 

I lifted my head up towards the sky. ' I wonder when I get to meet you... other brother.'

" Yo, guys, we're home!" Natsu said as the gang except for Shana made it back to the guild. 

"Hey!  So how did it go? Did you guys picked up anything worthwhile?" Max asked them. 

" Well, Wendy and Shana sure did." Lucy replied. The Sky Dragon just laughs. 

" Shana didn't come back?" Natsu asked as he searched for her " Just give her some time man." Gray told him that she just needs to cool off. 

" You don't make the rules anymore, so just get over it! It's up to Makarov!" Romeo yelled at Macao. " I'm expressing myself as a member of guild!" Macao yelled back. 

" What's all the fuss about this time?" Gray asked. 

" Seems, like typical teenage rebellion to me. clothing Gray!" The white cat scolded the ice mage that had no shirt on. 

" Those of you with me, say Aye!" Macao looked at the other for back up. He got an Aye from Wakaba, Max, Nab, Vijeeter, Warren, Bisca and Alzack. 

" I never wanna go through that crap again." Alzack says. " That has got to be the most embarrassing thing in the world." Bisca mutters. 

" But we got the Tenrou Team back with us this time! Natsu, Shana and Erza and all those guys! There's no way we're gonna lose with them on our side!" Romeo argued confidently. 

" Haven't you been paying attention? They all missed out on seven years of training." Warren reminded him. 

Levy frowns guilty. "You're awesome Levy, don't listen to those jerks!" Droy assured her.

" So what exactly are we talking about doing or not doing here anyways?" Natsu asked having no clue what everyone's arguing about. 

" While you guys were all stuck on Tenrou Island, a tournament started to determined Fiore's number one guild." Romeo quickly explained. 

" Ooh!" Happy cheered. " Sounds like a whole lot of fund to me!" Natsu smirked. 

" Guilds from all over the country face off against each other in magic events. They call it. The Grand Magic Games!" Romeo stated. 

" Oh, yeah!" Natsu cheered. 

" That sounds totally amazing." Lucy said. " Yeah, I'd love to play some games." Wendy agreed being all on board. 

" So it's more like a magic festival?" Gray asked. " I understand. Sabertooth is known as the top guild in Fiore these days because they won the last go-round." Erza figured it out.

" That's right.  But if we can beat them and win the games this time, we'll be number one instead!" Romeo mentions. 

" That would be nice. But I'm not entirely convinced we could win given our current state of disarray. " Makarov said thinking about entering. 

" That's my point exactly!" Macao tried to reason with Romeo. 

" Yeah, but if we do win, the guild will get, like, thirty million jewel in prize money!" Romeo added. 

" Were in!" Makarov shouted. 

" Seriously?" Macao sweat dropped. 

" But master, it's gonna be really hard!" Droy mentioned. " They are a tons of powerful guilds that compete each year!" Warren also added. 

" And don't forget that we've come in dead freakin' last every single time we've entered." Jet reminded them. 

" That is just pitiful." Elfman frowns at him. 

" Well this year we'll just have to beat all those other guilds to a pulp!" Makarov suggested there's no other way. 

" Sabertooth thinks they're hot stuff? We'll just see about that!" Natsu said getting exciting lilting his first with fire. 

" Put a cork in it!" Jet yelled at him. 

" So when does this thing go down, anyway?" Natsu asked Romeo. " It kicks off in three months." Romeo said. 

Natsu smashed his fits together. "That's plenty of time! But we have start training ASAP! We'll put Fairy Tail back on top! And nobody's gonna get in our way." 

" Let's go!" Gray smiled. " Yeah! And if all of us start working together as guild." Lucy began to say. " There will be no stopping us." Erza smirked.  " We gotta tell Shana about this when she gets back." Wendy smiled at Gray and Lucy. 

There others just groan embarrassed,. " Now the final decision has been made, there's no need for all this moaning  and groaning! So lets get to work! Let's win that thirty million  jewel, and the title of Fiore's number one guild!" Fairy Tail is entering The Grand Magic Games and aiming for the top!" Makarov encourage them all.
