school finally ended. aiichiro zips up her bag close, not bother to pack up her homework to bring back. she told her friends that she'll head home first as they bid her 'goodbye'. she walks down the stairs quickly. when she reach the second floor, she sees the second years already released.

finally out of the school building, her head turns from left to right trying to find for chifuyu. until her eyes caught with a certain blonde hair. she smiles widely and runs towards him.

"do you want to go and get some peyoung yakisoba, chifuyu?" baji asked as he takes off the glasses and untie his hair, fixing it as well. "sure, we should invite aii-senpai too," he suggested before hearing his own name being called by a female voice.

he turns around to see aiichiro running towards them. they stop and waited for her, letting her catch her breath. "aii-senpai," the blonde boy calls her in worry. he was about to help her but was a little jumped as she quickly look up at him with a smile. "thank you for the lunch,"

his cheeks turned into a light shade of pink, his eyes slightly widened. "your welcome," baji said, looking at chifuyu. "he wanted to say 'your welcome'" he continued as he also told them to walk. aiichiro walks slightly slower than the other two as it was slightly uncomfortable for her since it wasn't that long ago for them to know each other.

the three head to the same convenience store that nana wanted to meet up with her at this morning. they enter with the bell ringing, indicating to the staff that new customers have arrived. baji immediately went to the food shelves to find what he wanted.

"they don't have it here?" his sharp smile turned into a frown as he stood up straight from bending to find for it at the lower shelves. the girl wonders what was 'it'. "they should have it somewhere here, i bought it in this store, im sure of it," chifuyu squats down to the bottom shelf, helping baji to find for it before he could burn another car on fire.

"uh, aii-senpai, you can go and look for something to eat or drink while we try finding for it," she nods and walks to the fridge where the drinks and ice creams were. her eyes immediately caught the cold frozen dessert as it felt like it was staring at her.

she grabs it and moved on to the beverage as she has enough to buy atleast a packet drink. when she was already decided what to buy, she went to the counter and saw baji and chifuyu already buying. they went to heat it up while she buys her ice cream and drink.

they all went out of the store while aiichiro took her first cold bite on her dessert and find a place to sit down at. eventually they find an empty playground, the blonde boy hurried his way to the bench as his seniors tries to catch up.

baji and chifuyu sat on one bench as the girl sat alone at the bench beside their's. she place her school bag on her lap and her packet drink beside her. she carefully tried to not spill any of her ice cream onto her uniform since it will get sticky. "why are you sitting alone?" a familiar voice ask her from the other side as she turns to see both of them looking at her, switching turns on holding the bowl they were eating from.

they have only known each other since last night so she isn't really comfortable around them yet. if just standing with them makes her feel weird then sitting with them would probably be weirder. she gave them a thumbs up. "im ok here, don't worry," she lets them know, they nodded and continues sharing the ramen.

"ah! baji-san, you finish the entire bowl!" chifuyu exclaims as he looks at the now empty bowl that was passed to him. the other boy only smiled widely and laughs. "i was hungry," he explained to the angry blonde.

after consuming everything they bought, chifuyu invites aiichiro to play the swing with him since baji declined when he ask him. now the two are swinging back and forth while the other one watches them as if he was babysitting.

the girl swung really stiffly as she felt a little awkward. his bright blue eyes caught her staring to nowhere and realised her feelings about the situation right now. "are you ok, aii-senpai?" he tilts his head down to see her face but she immediately looks away.

a few hours passed as they all went to their separate ways. aiichiro fixed her school bag's position on her shoulder until a drop of water landed on the back of her hand. more starts pouring as soon as she looks at the first one that fell. her head and shoulders starts to get wet as she tries to find shelter.

she sprints her way to one, although it was small but it still covers her from the rain. trying to check if she brought along an umbrella, she gasp as the rain starts falling heavier taking up most of the space under the little roof she had. shit shit shit, she cussed.

she saw another shelter which was probably bigger than what she was standing under. having a hard time deciding whether she should make a run for it or just wait for the rain to get lighter. then again, she might slipped if she runs in such heavy rain.

whatever. she thought as she takes a step forward, followed by another and another. her legs starts running while trying to be careful of the slippery ground. a smile starts forming on her face as she realised she was getting closer to the area but soon tripped on an out of place cement block, falling on her knees first.

she stood up quickly but winced at the pain of her left knee. she knows she needs to get under it as soon as possible, this type of accidents are to be expected.

the whole process of running from one shelter to amother continues till she reaches her apartment building. she went inside, her uniform soaking wet. hatsuki went to check at the front door, her eyes widened and a gasp.

"aiichiro! what happened to you?" the girl could only smile, laughing a little as her aunt looks at the knees and arms of her niece. scratches all over.

"i didn't bring my umbrella,"
