never has she dash her way home so quickly as baji tries to catch up with her. they reach infront of the door and she slams it open, revealing her aunt who was crying non stop. "kaka!" she shouts in worry as she walks big steps to the woman who was sitting down on the couch.

hatsuki immediately leans to her side till it reaches her niece as she continues to sob. "jinko.." she repeatedly calls for her sister's name as her grip on the girl's shirt tightens.

aiichiro tried her best to not shed a tear so she could calm her aunt. but she couldn't help it either, as a tear slide against her cheek which followed by another and more. baji walks to the both of them. he was the only one who was able to coo them both as he spoke calmly to their ears.
listening to them both mourning for her mother/sister's name.

"we came hear to commemorate hirose jinko's death. she lived a loving life thanks to everyone who is here," aiichiro's father spoke as he kneels infront of his wife's coffin.

one by one did the same, whispering or maybe even spoke great words about the woman.

soon it was aiichiro's turn to bow to her dear mother who she never knew. "thank you for giving birth to me, mother. although we just met after so long, although i showed nothing but disrespect to you, you gave me the softest smile a mother could ever give," she bit her bottom lip roughly as she again tried to not shed tears.

after the ceremony, everyone left as they bid nice words. hatsuki went inside the house as she thought aiichiro would be in the kitchen, probably getting something refreshing to drink. but she saw no one. she went searching for the girl everywhere but to no avail, she was nowhere.

while the woman was busy findings for her niece. the girl was on the rooftop of her parents' house, sitting down at one corner where the bushes could cover her. she was hugging her legs close to her body. whispering things to herself.

"aiichiro! aiichiro!" she hears a familiar male voice slowly getting louder as he gets closer to the spot she was in. he pushed the bushes away, making a rustling noise as the small branches poke his skin. he gasp lightly when the sight of his daughter appears infront of his eyes.

he was relieved that she didn't go run off to the city. "aiichiro, please don't disappear like that. i was worried about you," he reaches his hand out to her, to which she grabs and has him help her stand up.

the male observes her face. both her eyes were puffy and red from crying so much and her bottom lip was almost bleeding from biting too roughly. he sighs before spreading his arms out. "c'mere," he gave her a soft smile. her eyes starts watering again as she wraps her arms around her father tightly. her sobs were loud muffle noises as he stroke her back gently, cooing her.

after awhile, they separated and the male's hand reaches into his pocket and came out, revealing a handkerchief. "your mother always wanted to hand this to you when we just first met," he explains before grabbing her hand and placing it.

she took her hand back nicely, unwrapping the cloth that soon reveals a pretty diamond necklace. it was gorgeous to even wear it. she starts to admire the small designs around that diamond. soon a drop of water landed on the cloth. "huh" she gasped, noticing that she was crying, again.

the both of them calmed down and went downstairs to the living room, where hatsuki was. "aiichiro, oh my god. please don't run off like that again," she catches the girl into her arms. "sorry," she apologises softly.

"we'll be staying for a week, are you alright with that?" the woman asked for reassurance from her niece. getting a nod as a response, both females were escorted to their rooms.

aiichiro enters the big room as her jaw opens in awe. it was such a pretty place to stay in, very fancy and expensive. something you would expect from a rich person's place. she turns to the maid who escorted her. "thank you," the maid bowed before closing the door gently.

she place her bag beside the bed and sat on top of the mattress, bouncing up and down a little from the impact. "a week, huh? i should let them know first," she took her flip phone out and started by sending a message to yashiro and nana. after that she proceeds to send it to baji and chifuyu.

the phone was thrown to the bed as she lays down on the bed too. the cloth-wrapped necklace was still in her grip as she tightens that grip and place it closer to her chest. "there was so much i wanted to tell you.. but i guess i was too stubborn that time," and without realising it, she fell asleep.

"mitsuya! what the hell is this suppose to mean?" baji ask in frustration as he scratches his head. the silver haired boy sighs, asking himself why he even decided to help his friend with his work.

soon, baji's phone lets out a ringtone from across the room. the boy dash to reach for it, answering the call. there appears the soft high-pitched voice he has always been wanting to listen to.

"baji-kun? are you there?"

her voice gives him the comfort he needs as his lips slowly creeps up a smile. mitsuya noticed it and scoffed at his friend's face. "is your phone not working again?" she asked.

the last time they called, baji's phone ended their call suddenly. not sure why but it did make him sad.

"maybe i should call back later? i can't seem to hear you"

mitsuya nudged baji's arm. "stop being weird, your girlfriend is calling you." the boy flinched, snapping back into reality as he heard a light gasp from the other line.

"mitsuya-kun, hello,"

the silver haired boy greets her back, waving his hand although she couldn't see it.

the three of them had continuous chatting without realising it was about to get dark. mitsuya left before the call ended. once the two of them were the only ones in the room, baji did what he wanted to do ever since he answered her call but it'll have to wait soon.

"its so boring.."

she lets out a big sigh while the sound of fabric shuffling surrounds it, seems like shes lying down on her bed. he scoffed. she suddenly yawned loudly, making him chuckle.

"you should go and sleep,"

she yawns again and hummed.

"goodnight, baji-kun"

before she could even end the call, her cheeks turned red as the words went from one line of the call to the other. "goodnight...

quickly come back so i can kiss you,"
