"Actually, there is another way."

"There really is a way! Why did you say that there is no other way then?!" Leng MianMian angrily scolded Xiao Yao.

"You, do you want to save that brother Fei of yours or not?" Xiao Yao finally said having enough of Leng MianMian's shits.

"You!"

"Leng MianMian!" Chen Qiao warned.

Leng MianMian looked at Chen Qiao and then huffed shutting her trap.

"What is that way?" Old Bai asked.

"Actually, the second way is very painful and only a few of them can take it now depending on their situation. They might think that being dead is better than taking the second option. So, should we do it?"

Xiao Yao looked at the Old Bandit for confirmation.

"Okay. Save how much you can and the rest... let them rest." The Old Bandit said looking as if he had aged a bit after only a few minutes.

"Okay. Then, the people I'll point out will not make it so...."

"I understand." 

The Old Bandit looked at Old Bai who quickly understood.

"Take out the people the kid will point out. Let them rest."

Old Bai sighed, he looked at the few people left of their group with a heavy heart.

The other able members of the bandits' group looked at each other, with a complicated sad gaze, they slowly took out their gun.

Their gun never felt so heavy before in their lifetime.

They are not some saints who had never killed before, their hands were long soaked with heavy blood, so dirty that nothing could clean it.

But never had they before imagined that one day, their very hands that were soaked with blood, the guns that they used to protect each other, would one day be used to end each of their brother in arms life.

"Then, him, him, and him. Also him and him. Take care of them."

Giving his instructions, the others quickly carried the people who would not be able to survive somewhere Xiao Yao did not want to know.

A minute later, gunshots were heard.

"Now, I'm going to start saving the rest."

"Go on."

"Listen. If you can hear me, I just want to tell you that we don't have any anesthetic here. So, you will have to bear the pain. Bite on the cloth and not the tongue. But if you want to end your life because of the pain then I don't have any qualms but to say do it much earlier and not after I'm almost done painstakingly taking out the corpse bugs on your body. Else, before you die from biting your tongue, I had already tossed you back to the swarm of corpse bugs. Understood?"

Xiao Yao was met with silence. 

No one answered him or no one dared to answer him.

"Then, let's start."

Xiao Yao took out a small knife out of his pocket. 

Before he used it, he first sterilized the knife using fire and then cooled it with water.

Having the others help him hold his first victim... er, patient, which is actually the ML, Xiao Yao then started his "operation".

"Ah!" Fei Chen yelled in pain.

'Wait. XiaoXiao, did I do it right?' Xiao Yao thought.

[Wait, Host, do you even know what you are doing?] Xiao Xiao exclaimed.

'Well, you know this is my first time and all. I only knew that to save them, I would need to take out the corpse bugs crawling deeper inside their body. But the process, I have no idea.' 

Xiao Yao smirked.

[Host, we're going to get sued for malpractice!] Xiao Xiao said horrified.

'Well, no one will ever know.'

Xiao Yao evilly grinned faced with the Male Lead, Fei Chen who was sweating buckets of cold sweat under Xiao Yao's evil gaze.

Twenty minutes later, after torturing half practicing his "medical skills", Fei Chen was then tossed aside for Xiao Yao's next victim/patient.

After malpractice in secret, Xiao Yao finally knew how to handle this situation easily.

His next victim-patient was then presented in front of him, this time he can be considered "learned".

Puncturing a small wound the size of half a finger, Xiao Yao took out a tweezer and inserted it inside the wound deeply making his victim/patient writhe in pain.

"There!"

Taking a corpse bug the size of a thumb out of his flesh, Xiao Yao quickly threw it to the fire to kill it.

This process of puncturing and pulling out a corpse bug from its body and roasting it on fire repeated until all of the corpse bug was taken out.

This process was also repeated for victims 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 until they passed out from the pain.

"Now, that was exhausting. Old man, I'm finished. I'll rest first."

"Thank you, kid." Old Bai said.

Xiao Yao just waved his hand at him not saying anything while going back inside his tent to have a rest.

"Ah. What an eventful day. Full of bad luck and dead bodies. So exhausting."

It was the middle of the night, Xiao Yao was awakened from his dreams. He then found out that, Xu Xin was not by his side.

The spot where he should be sleeping was cold and empty, he frowned.

"Where did he go?"

Xiao Yao quickly got out of his bed and went out of the tent. He looked around to find Xu Xin staring at the wall, he sighed helplessly.

"Yo. Can't sleep?"

With his hand inside the pocket of his hoodie, Xiao Yao walked towards Xu Xin with a smile.

Xu Xin looked at Xiao Yao who sat beside him, he nodded in acknowledgment.

"Got something in your mind? You can tell me. Maybe I can help. Who knows." Xiao Yao grinned.

Upon hearing Xiao Yao's words, Xu Xin just smiled.

As for Xiao Yao, he was already used to the other's silent treatment.

"Yao....." Xu Xin suddenly started.

"Hmmm?"

Xiao Yao looked at Xu Xin in wonder, he did not think that the other would suddenly call out his name.

"Can I...trust you?" Xu Xin looked him in the eye.

He eyed Xiao Yao deeply in the eyes, as if, he was trying to sincerely read the other's mind for the first time ever since they met.

This was not the first time he had tried to read the other's unreadable thoughts, its just that this time he wanted to know or see what the other's hidden intentions behind his kindness.

He had lived in this world for far too long. As he knows, there is no free meal in this world.

From the start, he was puzzled as to why there was such a person like Xiao Yao whose kind and helpful.

But thinking deeply, Xiao Yao does not look like a fool after being with him for some time. He is smarter than that.

He does not look like a person who would risk a failure.

That is why, he was waiting for that little fluctuation of hesitance or just something that could make him distrust the other.

He looked him deeply in the eyes wanting to read the other's thoughts but at the same time, he was also afraid of discovering Xiao Yao's hidden thoughts that might break that build up trust between them.

But Xiao Yao who was being stared at by the other soul deeply, except for surprise, just smiled.

"Of course."

Those words, though only had a word, weighed more than they looked.

Its weight was so heavy that it shook the heart of the other to the core.

There was no hesitance or any hidden intention between those words. It was so pure that no one would believe that it was not tainted by time and the dirt of the world.

Those words were just too sincere and most of all genuine with only sincerity and kindness behind them.

Why isn't anyone commenting about the story "Posui Destiny"?

I was really hoping for some comments about it if it was an okay story.

I guess no one wants a mass release since no one commented about "Posui Destiny"?

*Shrugs Shoulders*

What a waste. I had already readied the chapters for mass release a long time ago but no one still commented or gave their review about it.
