Chapter IV: Endless

Nayeon, up to this day, could clearly remember how Yoo Jeongyeon became her girlfriend.

It was when they're hanging out in a cafe that Jeongyeon, suddenly out of nowhere, suddenly kissed Nayeon. Maybe it was a bit clumsy but it became her favorite. Nayeon never felt her heart beating so fast. For Nayeon, It was magical just like the kiss they did on that ferris wheel. Even after that, every kiss they shared felt like it was the first time.

Jeongyeon just calmly sat back in the chair and smiled looking at her as she sipped her coffee. Nayeon raised her eyebrow and tap her finger in the table, "Ya, yoo jeongyeon! what's with that calm face?"

Jeongyeon chuckled and gave her a oblivious look, "what?"

"Do you kiss just anyone?" Nayeon glared at her.

"No."Jeongyeon turned her head away as her calm face susddenly changed, "Only the person I'm in love with."

"THEN WHY KISS ME!?!" Nayeon stood up with tears brimming in her eyes. She just hates the feeling of how Jeongyeon is playing with her. If she was in love with someone and there is no point of kiss me, Nayeon thought. She felt so hurt. all this time, Jeongyeon has been
confusing her with all these sudden kisses.

Jeongyeon stayed in shock as Nayeon was about to walk away. Jeongyeon exclaimed, "Fuck, shit. Wait!"
"Don't you fucking swear at me Yoo Jeongyeon!" Nayeon said as she walk another step away again.

Jeongyeon stood up hastily form her table and accidentally poured down the coffee to her lap,
"Fuck! shit-- i mean, It's damn hot!"

Nayeon stopped from walking away and wipes Jeongyeon with herhandkerchief, "Really now, Jeongyeon?"

Jeongyeon sighs heavily as she held Nayeon's wrist, "I look so uncool. This is totally going wrong. I wanted to look cool while confessing that I'm in love with you."

Nayeon with eyes shook finally met Jeongyeon's. She can see the seriousness in Jeongyeon's words. Jeongyeon was beet red as she bits her lips. She can feel so loved just by the way Jeongyeon looks at her. She looks at her as if she's all she ever wanted.

Nayeon finally chuckled and plant a small kiss on the latter's lips, "I love you too."

"Does this mean we're going out?"

As Jeongyeon asked that, Nayeon pulled her into a hug and whisphering a sweet 'Yes.'

Even if that was a clumsy confession, For Nayeon it was perfect. She fell in love even more
in the passing years that their together. They were perfect. It was one of the best memories in her life.

Then out of nowhere a freakin' stranger unromantically asked her the same thing.

"Go out with me" eyes widened, Nayeon looked at the stranger who uttered those words.

"Come on," She snickered," you won't get this again if you don't"

Nayeon glared at the woman, "Stop kidding. I don't even know you for god's sake."

"I'm Momo, Hirai Momo. Now you know me." The woman grabbedher wrist and pulled her close which made their places
up close, almost only an inch away from both of them.
"omo!" Nayeon gasped because she just slapped momo's face out of shock, "S-s-sorry..."

The moment was silent when Momo suddenly let out a chuckle, "Feisty."

"what the heck are you? a masochist?"

Momo shook her head and laughed, "You're a masochist yourself too little missy."

Nayeon raised her eyebrows, "I don't know what you're talking about but please
bring back my ring."

"Is it from that... what's her name again? Something like Jeongyeon?" Momo rubbed her chin and slowly smiled
as she said that name.

Nayeon stopped for a minute and you see her face filled with confusion.

"I saw you earlier, hugging her." Momo smirked "and to my surprise, she ain't your girlfriend. she was that
girl's lover~ heol..."

Nayeon bit her lip and clenched her teeth, "You don't know what you're talking about. Jeongyeon is my bestfriend."

"Bestfriends?" Momo snickered, "or side chick? I don't know you or her personally but one thing is clear, She
clearly sees that you are in love with her, but she choose to ignore it. I swear, that woman is an asshole."

"Enough!" Now, It is clearly seen the anger in Nayeon's eyes,"Don't speak of Jeongyeon that way! you don't know her!

And that's it. Nayeon had to walk away. She had enough of this blonde.
She turned her back and walked heavily.

"Wait!" She hear the woman call her, "won't you want to have the ring back again?"

"Never mind. i don't want to talk with a jerk with you." Nayeon said as she walk down to exit the haunted house.

She was finally out when her expression finally changed. She breathes heavily and stomped her feet, "I shouldn't left the ring with her!"

------------------

'to: Sana<33

From: Dahyun
Sana?I'm sorry. Let's talk it over.'

Dahyun sighs as she sent the text to her girlfriend. She can't even remember what they are fighting about? what is it exactly?
Dahyun knows it wasn't just because of that 'Sana didn't text her last night'

It was a whole lot of other things Dahyun felt. She just felt how Sana constantly drifts away. Sometimes, She's in daze and more often she won't even remember what Dahyun talked to her about. The woman would constantly make her feel as if she's single.

But There is something wrong,
and Dahyun felt it.

She knows something is up with that girl.

That beautiful girl that majors in arts. She was once saw her talking to Sana. She was high nose and cute lips, and beautifully-shaped eyes. Even her tan-skin made her beautiful. She was that childhood friends Sana told her about. Dahyun tried to be blind in order not to see the way Sana lights up when she see Tzuyu or the way Sana looks at her as if she's wrapping out a gift in a christmas morning.

She tells herself that she trust Sana. She loves her so she should trust her. But there's this gut feeling on the way they treat each other. There is something on the way Sana calls or says her name that she can't see on how she called hers.

Sana and her met in a cafe and just like any love stories it always been. She instantly fell in love with the woman. She was flawless in everyway. She cooks for her, she gave her gifts, pull out the chair for her and cheer her up. Everylittle things about Sana made her fall in love. She used to think that she maybe special, because Sana is the kind of person who takes care of you, says she loves you a lot of times, cuddle you and spoil you.

Because of Jealousy, Dahyun would deliberately hug Sana in front of Tzyuyu, she would tell her 'I love you' just to forced out
the 'I love you too' from Sana. She would kiss her in the cheek. She would do all this to make Tzuyu see how Sana is hers.

After doing that, she would always see the hurt in Tzuyu's face. She would often see her walking down to a place, and cry.
But maybe she was a bit conceited and selfish.

She kept thinkign that maybe this is her punishment for doing all that.

Dahyun sat down with her hand on her knees as tears slowly went down to her cheeks because she realized
how stupid she is for not seeing all these in the beginning. Sana would always hug her, hold her hand but she would never
look at her the same way she does with Tzuyu.

------------------

Jeongyeon sighs heavily as she enters the living room. She closed her eyes and put her hands on her head.

"Jeongyeon.. Jeongyeon..." She bit her lip as she remembered the way Nayeon called her name. Her adorable sweet voice calling
her name over and over again, Jeongyeon felt like she's going crazy. and that cute face
she had as she clings on her. Her trembling figure and small thin hands making its way to her back.

She breathe in again as she clenched her hand on her chest, "Damn, Jeongyeon. Stop it. Stop thinking about that bunny."

She shook her head as she walked over the living room, trying to shook off these thoughts. She told herself
that she have Mina already. The woman loves her, and she loves her too. She suddenly stopped in front of the beige modern sofa when she saw a familiar blonde lying comfortably on it.

"oh, the devil's here." Jeongyeon smiled as she placed her bag on the table inside their house. She felt a bit surprising that Sana
came over. "What's up Sana?"

"Nothing, just needs to see my friend." Sana smiled, not that Jeongyeon would believe her.

"don't lie. what ya need?" Jeongyeon laughed as she sat in the couch beside Sana. she knows her too well to believe that sneaky smile.

"Oh you know me too well." Sana laughed.

"Of course I do. I got to look pass through your sweet facade along time ago. I hated you even way before." Jeongyeon laughed.

"About that," Sana laughed. "I know the reason you hate me is because you were jealous of me."

Sana can clearly remember how Jeongyeon would come to Nayeon's class every lunch time and would find them talking. Jeongyeon
would always glare at her like she's killing her. Even when Nayeon introduced the two of them, Jeongyeon smiled fakely and glared at her
when Nayeon turned her back.

"I was." Jeongyeon admitted, "I admit I was just jealous before that's why i hate you. But now, i hate you personally."

After saying that, both of them laughed. She can't deny how close they are now despite their history.

"By the way where did you come from? the amusement park? With Nayeon finally?" Sana said as she grins slumping
her body on the couch.

"what? oh yeah. I was with Nayeon. I introduced her to my girlfriend." Jeongyeon answered.

"Oh I see, i'm so happy that both of you finally---- SAY WHAT?!" Sana suddenly exclaimed upon realizing
what Jeongyeon had told her.

"I said I introduced her to my girlfriend."

"what the heck?! So all this time the woman you're talking to me about isn't Nayeon?!!!!"

"NO. Where did you get that Idea?"

"Ugh! I can't believe you deliberately introduced your girlfriend with your ex-girlfriend! that's rude!!" Sana exclaimed. She can't
even believe why she's friends with Jeongyeon.

"Sana, that was years ago. We're bestfriends now. I feel bad if I don't introduce her." Jeongyeon answered.

Sana glared at her, "But you know that there's still a chance that she's still in love with you.. right?"

That was then that Jeongyeon stayed Silent. Sana sighs as she rolled her eyes, "Jerk."

Jeongyeon chuckled, "Hey! hey! let's stop with this topic. By the way, how's things with Tzuyu?"

Sana looked at Jeongyeon as she grabbed the juice on the table and sipped,"What do you mean?"

"Oh."Jeongyeon bit her lip, realizing that she talked about the wrong girl, " I mean Dahyun."

"I don't know Jeongyeon. We've been fighting a lot lately. I've been distracted these past few days"

"Why?" Jeongyeon asked, "didn't you say, you're soooo perfect for each other? I always see you flirting anytime
and anywhere."

"Ya! we don't do that." Sana said, "I was just thinking about things. It's been bothering me. Do youo perhaps... knows who
the person Tzuyu is in love with?"

Jeongyeon stopped and snickered, "Of course i do."

"WHAT?! YOU DO?!" Sana exclaimed.

Jeonyeon chuckled as she looked at sana, "Of course. It's so obvious."

"Then... who?!"

"It's----"

"HYUNG!you're home?!" Chaeyoung suddenly interrupted the two of them as she sat in the couch with them, "How's the date with
Nayeon-unnie~"

That was then Sana groaned and shook her head. Jeongyeon looked at Chaeyoung with a poker-face, "What do you mean with Nayeon?
where did you get the idea I'm with Nayeon?"

"Don't tell me... it's not her?" chaeyoung looks shook as she covered a hand on her hand. She regrets telling Nayeon that
and making her hope for nothing.

"It is. But I just introduced her to my girlfriend this time." The older answered flatly.

"YOU DID WHAT?! THAT'S RUDE!!!" Chaeyoung exclaimed.

Sana nodded her head, "I know right. she's an asshole. I can't believe her."

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, "You're both are."

Chaeyoung can remember that time when Tzuyu cried so hard when Sana introduced Dahyun to her. Tzuyu was so
wrecked that time. She was always on daze and often found in class sleeping. Even now, Tzuyu would always-- constantly,
have her heart broken by the thing Sana casually does.

"So... who's the woman you're playing with right now?" Chaeyoung started as she took a bit on the biscuit.

Jeongyeon scratched her head and said, "I'm serious about her, Chaeyoungie."

Chaeyoung and Sana's eyes widened a bit. Sana slapped Jeongyeon's arms, "Really though?"

"Yes. I am." Jeongyeon answered firmly, "She's not a woman you play with."

"I can't believe you. You're lying." Sana laughed.

"Yeah, if you'll stop womanzing then she might have been a woman close to perfect." Chaeyoung chuckled.

Ding dong

All of them stopped bickering when they heard the bell rung.
"Oh that might be Somi, I invited her over." Chaeyoung said as she walked slowly towards the door. The two was left behind
still eating crackers and watching TV.

As chaeyoung opened the door, She became frozen. She felt her heart beating loudly at the sight of that person. Her palms starts sweating
and she can't calm down. She can feel butterflies rumbling in her stomach, Her cheeks were hot and her feet feels weak. It's as if
someone was tying her into the ground and she can't tear her eyes away from that beautiful person right in from of her, whom
she loved for years.

That person with a flawless beauty that kept her heart beating faster than anyone can. It felt like an illusion, like she had been
brought back to the past-- on that 14-year old chaeyoung who's having her first love.

"w-why..." Why are you here? Chaeyoung wanted to ask.

But as she opened her mouth, her older sister starts to come over to the door and walk towards the woman in front of her.

Jeongyeon smiled and put her arms around her, "Chaeyoung, I want to introduce you. I don't know if you remember her but she
once went to our school. She's Mina, my girlfriend."

Chaeyoung gaped as she stared at Mina who has a completely blank expression. Chaeyoung tried to talk despited the
bitter taste inside her mouth, the lump on her throat and the constact ache in her chest, "Nice to meet you, Mina."

-------------------------

Nayeon sighs as she finally reached home. She was lying frozen on her bed as she stared on the ceiling. She looked at her finger
and remembered how it used to feel when the ring is still on it,

or how it feel when the spaces between it were filled with Jeongyeon's.

"One of the hardest thing you'll ever have to do is to stop loving someone
because they stopped loving you." A foreign model whom Nayeon doesn't name of had once said that, and yes,
life has given her a cruel way to understand the quote better.

She promised herself that she would stay strong. She had always been trying to stay strong all these years. She rubbed her face with her hand as she sighs heavily. Maybe it was her punishment for thinking that the women Jeongyeon are with so far are just flings and she won't take them seriously. Now, a certain 'Mina' appeared.

Of course, she was beautiful and kind-- the woman Jeongyeon would look at so lovingly and embraced on her arms. Of course, she was that someone who would make Jeongyeon happy without even trying. She was that woman who'll constantly see that adorable smile on Jeongyeon, All those that Nayeon had lost long time ago. And it let her see how imperfect and ugly she is. She was just part of the past but the ring lets her believe that maybe the future can belong to her. But now she lost it too.

Maybe this is the end, Maybe she should accept that their chapter had already ended.

"Nayeon, it's time to accept it." She sighs, "Maybe it wasn't meant to be."

She bit her lip as she curled up in the bed, clenching her hand on her heart as tears slowly go down to her cheeks. She shut her eyes closed praying for that the moment she wakes up, she won't be in love with Jeongyeon anymore.
