(AT THE BUTTERFLY MANSION)
3rd PERSON'S POV

Satoshi and Kanae are at on their way to Butterfly Mansion after the Hashira meeting. They are holding hands as always.

Satoshi - So Kanae, what do you think about this mission?

Kanae - Well, I would be lying if I said I am not nervous, but we have to do this.
Oyakata-sama's hunches are always right, and this time, he believes that we might encounter an Upper Rank. So yes, I m nervous, but I think we will be fine......atleast.

Satoshi - Well, to be honest, I m a bit nervous too. I haven't fully mastered my sun breathing technique yet, and according to the previous Flame Hashira, Shinjuro Rengoku, there are 13 forms of Sun Breathing and I know only 12.

Kanae - Wait, how did you talk to him? He hates talking with people, right?

Satoshi - *chuckles* I had to beg him. No joke. He was yelling at me to go away, but I was begging him so much that he finally gave up. And that's when he told me about the history of Sun Breathing, and how every single breathing technique that exists today are derived from it.

Kanae - The image of you begging someone is really funny to me. *giggles a bit*

Satoshi - *in thought* I will do anything to protect that smile. No one is gonna hurt my angel.

Satoshi stops walking and faces Kanae. Kanae also faces him and tilts her head towards the left.

Satoshi - Kanae, I will not let anything happen to you. I will always protect you no matter what. Because I love you. And after all of 'THIS' is over, I want to have a future with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much, Kanae. *hugs her.

Kanae - *hugs him back instantly.
Thank you so much, Satoshi-kun. Your words really makes me happy. I love you too. I love you so much.

They pull out of the hug and now, their foreheads were touching each other's. Kanae slowly closes are eyes and Satoshi does the same. They then fill the gap between them when their lips touch each other's. They share a deep passionate kiss. They kiss for about 3 minutes.

Satoshi - I think we should head back now.

Kanae - Yeah. By the way, should we tell Shinobu and Kanao about this?

Satoshi - I think we should. It's better if they know.

Kanae - *nods her head.

They finally arrive at the mansion.

Satoshi and Kanae - We are homeee...

Shinobu comes out of the kitchen and greets them.

Shinobu - Welcome home, Nee-San, Satoshi-san. Lunch is ready. Wash up and come to the dining room.

Satoshi - Haaaiiii, ma'am.

Shinobu and Kanae - *giggles

(At the dining Room after eating lunch)

Satoshi - The food was great as always, Shinobu. I must agree that you are better than Kanae in cooking.

Kanae - *pouts...hmph...I will let you slide with that one.

Satoshi - *in a teasing tone* Is my angel angryyyy??

Kanae - No, I m not! *Pouts again.

Shinobu - Nee-San, we all know I m better than you in cooking. So, stop acting like a baby. *chuckles at the end.

Satoshi stands up and sits down next to a 12 year old Kanao.

Satoshi - Kanao, who is the better cook? Kanae Nee-San or Shinobu Nee-San?

Kanao - *takes out her coin and flips it. Lands on head. "If I had to choose one, I would pick Shinobu Nee-San.

Kanae - You too, Kanao?

Kanao - *nods her head.

Shinobu - See? Even Kanao agrees.

Kanae - Ughhhhhh! Fineee.

Satoshi - Alright Shinobu and Kanao, Kanae and I need to tell you guys something serious.

Shinobu - *widens her eyes* Don't tell me you guys are getting married.

Kanae - Ehhhhh!??? N-not yet. I-Its not about that.

Satoshi - Not yet, Shinobu.

Shinobu - Then what do guys want to say?

Kanao - *doesn't say anything but listens everything attentively.

Satoshi - *takes a deep breath.* Kanae and I are going to a mission in Machida, and there is a high possibility that we might encounter an Upper Rank demon.

Shinobu - WHATTT!! AN UPPER RANK!??

Kanae - Yes, Shinobu. An upper rank. An upper rank demon is no joke. We have to be serious than usual in this mission.

Shinobu - When are you guys leaving for the mission?

Satoshi - We should be leaving now.

Shinobu - So soon?

Kanae - Machida is preety far away, so we have to go now to reach there before night.

Shinobu - *nods her head. Okay. I understand.

Kanae - *hugs Shinobu and Kanao in a group hug.* Don't worry. We will be fine. *Looks at Satoshi and indicates him to join the hug.

Satoshi joins the group and they have a group hug in comfortable silence.
They hug for about 4 minutes.

(OUTSIDE THE BUTTERFLY MANSION)

Satoshi - We shall be going now. Take care of yourself and Kanao properly, okay, Shinobu.

Shinobu - *nods her head. I will. Good luck and be safe.

Kanae - We will be going now. Bye Shinobu, Kanao.

And with that, they left for Machida.

MACHIDA (EVENING)
SATOSHI'S POV

After traveling for hours, we finally reached Machida. The first thing that I noticed about this place was that, there were hardly any females. 2/10 people were females. 

Kanae - Satoshi-kun, there are hardly any females in this place, isn't it?

Satoshi - Yeah, I noticed it too. We need to do something about this demon fast.

Kanae - Yeah, you are right. Let's go ga-

Satoshi - Wait! I smell a demon. Come this way!

I cut her sentence off and we started running towards the scent. After a while, we reached a cult.

The demon scent was really strong and it was coming from the cult. We entered the cult and the first thing we saw were doors. There were many door inside which led to different rooms. I used my scent of smell and Kanae and I entered through a door. As we entered the room, there was man sitting on a soft bean bag with his right elbow on his knees and his face was resting in the palm.

As he saw us, he stood up and spoke,
"Hello there. Welcome to my cult. The Paradise Cult. I m Doma. Nice to meet you. How can I help?

We didn't respond.

Doma took the form of a tall young man with a moderately toned and muscular body, who is of a notably pale complexion and possessed unusually long, pointed nails that appeared to be stained a pale blue. His hair color was a pale golden blond, and he wore it parted to his left, the shorter parts around his face seeming to flare out to either side around his head, curving backwards with one strand left down his face to fall between his eyes, while the longer parts were left to drape centrally down his back in a thinning spiral. His eye color were made up of an array of rainbow pastel tones that fade into one another as they circle his irises. His eyebrows were thick and black.

Doma wore a blood-red turtleneck of a design that made it appear that the section between his neck and upper chest is covered by a black substance that looks like it's dripping slightly down his body, this same design repeated at his wrists and down his hands, as well as on the small, circular "blood stain" he adorned on his head. Below this, he wore a pair of straight, tan-colored hakama pants of a pinstriped design, their cuffs visibly loose, which he secured with a pale green-tinged golden belt, its buckle a bright silver.

He also has a black cloak, which he drapes around his shoulders, two lengths of purple and black cloth with a rectangular pattern also hanging from it around his neck, as well as a black, crown-like hat which is lined with gold around its frontal plates and has flowing black ribbons dangling from each of its sides. 

And finally, he holds two Japanese golden fans.

But out of all these, the thing which caught Kanae and my eyes were his eyes.
On top of his rainbow eyes, he had the KANJI of UPPER RANK TWO engraved on both his eyes.

He had a sinister smile plastered on his face and blood stains were present on his mouth.

Without a second thought, I dashed at him.

"SUN BREATHING : BENEFICENT RADIANCE!!"
