Chapter 4

It has been a week since the news of the Fae kingdom visiting the mortal kingdom spread throughout the world. This whole week the kingdom was occupied with getting everything ready for the ceremony that was going to be held for the Fae king and his courts.

Occasionally I would hear Amelia and her sister Kalin yell at the maids, because they wanted the prettiest dress the world has ever seen and they wanted one that none of the other princesses would dare have.

However for me I've been keeping myself busy. I've been training myself every morning to get used to wielding the new sword. I don't know why, but it first felt like it was rejecting me, but now it seems to have accepted me as it's owner. Even Sebastian has been well behaved around me however when I leave it becomes crisis in the stables he killed one of the stable guys who were trying to get close to him. I didn't really care what Sebastian did as long as he saw me as his master.

Today was the day that I would have to carry out my plan to assassinate the current general of the royal army. When the night was dark as ink that was when I was to strike him in his chamber. I dressed in all black letting my hair flow free because it wasn't that long to be noticeable and get in my way. Nobody noticed me as I was blending in with the shadows they were too busy getting ready for the celebration. When I saw the candles still lit up in the general's chamber I creep up slowly hiding in the shadows. The general was laid on his bed being straddled by a women wearing nothing but her undergarments.

I opened the window and threw an odorless poison into his chamber then closed the window. I waited a couple of seconds before going in. His chamber wasn't anything interesting. I walked towards a desk and saw papers that looked important but at the same time didn't. I folded them and placed them near my chest. I stalked towards the general and his bitch. I debated killing his partner but I left her. I made his death a quick one with a clean slice of his neck. I went out the window and closed it.

I jumped through the trees enjoying the sensation running through my body while being swallowed by the night.

I took off my blood stained clothes and left them on the floor. I got inside the steaming shower rubbing the dried blood off my face knowing It'll be red as a tomato.

I wrapped myself in a blanket and walked out the steam was filling my room like smoke. I didn't care to put a bra on so I slipped on a tank and shorts. This period didn't have any of the clothes I wore it only consists of nightgowns which I hate so I took the liberty and created my own clothes from the many dresses that was in the closet.

"BANG BANG" I'm gonna kill the person who's disturbing my sleep. I looked outside and the sun wasn't even out yet.

I got out of the lacy bed and slammed the door open. I narrowed my eyes at Carol. "Excuse me Lady Mary, but we have to get you prepared for today's ceremony" she cowered a bit. Prince Damin probably gave her a warning. "I'm fine" I gave her a smile that didn't reach my eyes then I slammed the door. I could hear her gasp but hurried away.

I got back under my covers then I heard a screeching scream from outside. I was going to yell at them to shut up, but I heard some people under my room talking about the murder of the general and how his bitch was the one who found him dead and how she was inspected of the murder. I smiled to myself enjoying the moment forgetting the disturbance from earlier.

I stayed in the bath for a pretty long time. The sun was already out by the time I got out. Then I heard another knock on my door "Prince Damin" I could hear him say through clenched teeth. I opened it revealing myself wrapped in a towel "oh my Prince Damin if I knew you were coming I would've dressed more proper" making my voice higher and looking surprised  "Um C-Carol informed me that you had some issues" he said while turning his head away exposing the red on his face. "I would think you've seen a lot of bodies but apparently not. Nothing to be ashamed about you're just a late bloomer" I smirked at him then he turned his face looking me straight in the eyes there was a hint of anger but nothing to take down a bull.

"We need to talk" I made a movement with my hand for him to continue "privately" I looked at him then opened the door fully giving him a sarcastic curtsy. He took a seat near the fire place. "So what was so important that I deserved you to personally come here?" Signaling him to talk while I walked to the closet "you wouldn't happen to know what happened to the general would you?" I walked out the closet wearing a grey tunic and black leggings "you think I killed him? Me? A girl who's been locked up her whole life not knowing how to defend herself?" I kept my eyes on him giving him a innocent face. His face changed many times probably thinking it over without forgetting the scars that I left on his back from the whip. "And if I did kill him how did I go out without any of the servants seeing me?" His face came to a realization. I leaned onto the bed pole picking at my nails waiting for him to say something "how can it possible you? You're just dirt on a shoe. I can't believe I actually thought it was you a forgotten worthless girl" he laughed by himself "will if you'll excuse me I have more important business to do instead of wasting my time here" he closed the door with a smile on his face not even looking back.

Man that was the easiest lie I ever told. I have to admit he is pretty stupid and gullible. If the kingdom was left to him it would be chaos. I laughed to myself while thinking of the kingdom crumbling down.
